They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive option during our research, but they've proven to be reliable and well worth the cost. Yuriy messaged me first that he was on his way and he came exactly on time. The repair required him to remove the door trim to access the door hardware. He had to charge me for that which I had no problem with. He completed the job, and also showed me why the door was off and how he fixed it. He cleaned up and I couldn't even tell that the door trim was removed and reinstalled (despite him not having paint either). Payment was by Zelle. Very impressed with the work and professionalism. After viewing the photos of his work online, I was impressed with his workmanship and thought I had finally found the right guy to do the work. We first made contact in mid-February 2021 and made arrangements for him to come to my house for an evaluation/estimate a few days later. Our interaction was great and I even recommended him to my parents who were looking to replace a few gates at their house. My daughter and my parents were all impressed with Victor and I felt great about him doing these jobs for us. Five days after he stopped by my house, I checked in with him to see how the estimate was coming along. He indicated he would be sending the estimate in two days. One week later, still no word from Victor. I checked in again via text and he sent the estimate for the fence, but not the gates, later that night. I was pleased with the price of the estimate and that we were making progress. Victor said he would crunch the numbers on the estimate for the six gates and get back to me. Two weeks went by and no word from Victor. I checked in with a friendly text....no response. One week later, another friendly check in....no response. Another week later, I checked in again....no response. One month later, I checked in again....no response. Needless to say, I am very disappointed.
