This location is pretty hard to find if you don't know where it is already. It's on 6th St. about half a block east of Congress Ave on the corner of the Bank of America building next to Extreme Pita. I usually just get the Italian Night Club or the Roast Beef Sandwich. I wish they would let you get just a side of red wine vinegar though instead of that mostly oil (and very small amount of vinegar) concoction they put on your sandwich. I have asked many times and they say the stuff is pre mixed or something and can't do it. I think their sandwiches are pretty bland if I don't have a side of red wine vinegar. JJ's does not appear to train their employees about Customer Service. Their answer to fix an error w/ the order is putting their hands up & saying, "Sorry man, you gotta order another sandwich." The request was for another sub roll which could easily have been solved if the response was "Sure, but that will be an extra $0.50." Honestly an extra charge for new bread should be unnecessary since the rolls look and taste like a flattened and stale piece of white bread. JJ's sandwiches are subpar, look skimpy and unappetizing in comparison to other submarine sandwich shops, but are more expensive. The fountain drinks are watered down. I realize I have a problem with finding places I like to eat, and eating their waaaaay too much... Jimmy John's is one of those places. Turkey Tom on french bread with lettuce, sprouts, mayo, tomato, and if I'm feeling frisky- add avocado. Yum. It never fails me. I went on this Vegetarian kick for a while, soI had to switch up my usual Turkey Tom for The Vegetarian- equally as good. Layers of provolone with avocado, lettuce, sprouts, cucs, tomatoes, add oil and vin.-drooling. Didn't miss the meat at all. If you like a good Italian sub,the Vito is pretty dang amazing just make sure you add mayo. I frequent this location about once a week, and I am amazed by the efficiency and great customer service by this team! Darius is awesome and makes sure that my sandwich is being made as I walk in the door if I have not already ordered online. They all know me by name and I always leave in a great mood. So if you want yellow mustard on your sub you have to put it on yourself! If you want to put their mustard on yourself they won't allow it. If you ask for everything on your sub they put just lettuce on it. I try putting mustard on it myself, it was a disaster. They were really short with me. I ordered a slim turkey sandwich and the guy wouldn't even ask what I wanted on it. They just handed me bread and turkey. I was confused because they never asked me what I wanted on my sandwich. I returned it saying that I wanted vegetables on it and they took it back put old lettuce and tomato on it with lots of mayo and sent me on my way. If they didn't make me pay prior to my order I would have walked out. I know it was lunch time and they had a lot of preorders. But no excuses for not even letting me pick what was on my sandwich. I come to Jimmy John's at 6th @ Congress no less than 3x per week, as I work 1 block away. I had to write this review because my last 2 visits (yesterday and just now) were less than spectacular. Yesterday, I ordered a Club Tuna w/ no tomatoes + dijon + onions. When I got back to my office, the sandwich not only had 4 tomatoes, but probably 1/2 of a scoop of tuna spread horribly across the sandwich. Strike 1. Today, I ordered a Hunter's Club w/ no tomatoes + onions. When I got back to my office, I discovered that they left off the cheese! I mean seriously? At what point during the "Hunter's Club w/ no tomatoes, add onions" conversation did you hear me make a cheese modification? A sandwich without cheese is like a car without air conditioning. Strike 2. Unfortunately, I will probably come back to Jimmy Johns again in the future, but I will eat everywhere else that I possibly can before seeking the speed and (lack of) quality they offer. read more

I used to work at Jimmy John's so I know what I'm saying when I give this place a shit review. You are supposed to be trained to make a sandwich in under a minute BY YOURSELF. An entire line of people making me wait 25 minutes for one freaking sandwich when they were fully staffed and both lines were going is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention I asked for it cut in half and it was not, which I usually wouldn't care about if I wasn't already late to work because of them. Don't make the mistake I made and ask for a items #1-6 on wheat. If you want wheat, choose from items #7-17, which come with wheat bread at no extra charge. I thought I was ordering a wheat sub roll, but they don't have them and they don't bother to tell you that. I unknowingly ordered a #3 on wheat. I got the smaller portion of tuna, no cheese, sprouts, cucumber or tomato and was charged an additional $1 for the wheat bread. Again, I wanted a wheat hoagie roll. This made my #3 the same price as the #15, only smaller and with fewer ingredients. Thanks to the jerk for not telling me this. I'm glad my lesson came so cheaply. I'll make a different choice for food next time on 6th street. Seriously, you lost a local regular paying customer for a dollar. If this were my business I would just fire the jerk. read more

Literally the fastest sandwhich ive ever had made, anywhere! My sandwhich was ready before i even finished paying. A lil pricey in my opinion for the size of the sub.
