Terrible service! Dont know why but Ty just couldn't be bothered to help me, the only customer in the store. She continued cutting meat for several minutes without acknowledging me, even though she was the only person working. Then, without taking out her headphones, she just said "whats your order?" When I gave it, she threw the sandwich together loudly, like she was mad at me. She rang it up and then quickly went back to cutting meat while I paid. She said nothing more to me as I left. Every year we go to Maryland to attend an Orioles baseball game. The park allows you to take in outside food and drinks so heck yeah, sure beats 5 bucks for a coke when you can bring in your own bottle! Cant bring in your own alcohol though, boooo! Any how back to JJ! We go in here to get our subs for the game. I always get the BLT for the kids and me and the fiance seem to change it up. Great prices especially when you compare them to the stadium food and they are supper fast. Even when you can barely fit in the building because it is so packed we have never more than 10 minutes to order and 5 minutes for our order to be complete. They have always gotten out orders correct and they are so yummy! Jimmy Johns will always be a part of our families yearly Maryland trip! read more

Hubby and I were in town for a function at the convention center, so seeing JJ's across the street made it a no brainer choice for lunch. A bit of a line, but it does move quickly. This was probably the best sandwich I have ever had at Jimmy John's; super fresh! They also have Thinny chips, which are reduced fat; very good. This is on par with any of the dozen other Jimmy John's I've been to. I have a theory that the quality goes down in relation to how far they are to HQ in Illinois, but I found the quality here to be just fine. Proximity to the convention center is definitely its number one draw, and I heard from a colleague that the line at lunch was unbelievable. Off-peak hours I had no trouble and the service was fast as always. Five stars for being a standard JJ experience. read more

Quick, clean, good tasting, sandwich shop in Baltimore. One of two that I know of. Only this place is like, super cheap! It's not an attention to detail type of joint, but seriously who needs that much attention when it comes to a sub sandwich. When you eat em they get everywhere. The service was fast. When I got my sandwich I noticed that it was quite dry and hard to chew. Other than that, the food was good.

The service was absolutely terrible. There was a sheer lack of customer service. First the server refused to give us water cups until after much struggle, next they messed up my sandwich, quite a simple order if you ask me, and finally the cashier was not helpful in anyway and when I asked to review the purchase he shrugged me off and gave me the price instead of the item by item price. Normally I LOVE Jimmy Johns! It's my favorite place to eat a sandwich! I went to this location the other day and ordered a veggie like I always do. I am a vegetarian so it's the only thing I can eat there. They mixed up my order and I accidentally ate meat. For a vegetarian that is NOT cool. I hardly write reviews but this place sucked soon as I had to. The staff is rude and the service sucks. We ordered a sandwich and before it was being made we changed it to a different one. The woman making them rolled her eyes and shook her head. Then I asked for a bag to put them in and the guy at the counter just points to where they are at rather than getting it for me. When we got in the car we realized one of them didn't have any avocado on it (which we requested). We went in and asked for avocado and the woman was extremely rude and said "I put it between your tomato and cheese". I looked at the cheese and there was a faint amount smeared (like finger paint) on the cheese. I asked the guy at the counter for the manager and he pointed to the rude woman making the sandwiches and said she is the manager. I rolled my eyes, turned around and walked out. As I walked out the woman sarcastically asked, "is there anything I can help you out with since you're here honey?" This place sucks! read more

I love Jimmy John's. It's a huge step-up from Subway considering the meats, toppings, and bread are much better. After leaving the Orioles game on August 11th, my brother and I were drenched in rain and freezing cold, so we had to come to Jimmy Johns and get food (we hadn't eaten since 3pm). I ordered the 'Country Club', which contains, turkey, smoked ham, and provolone. They forgot to put lettuce on it, but at least they didn't put tomato and mayo on it as I asked. I didn't mind, I just put on some lettuce when I got home. Overall a great sub; I love the bread and the meats, along with their big menu. read more

So, I called an order in to JJ today-several sandwiches for myself and co-workers and was disgusted with the customer service by the owner/manager "Mike" who was very curt and didn't give me an order number. I had to call right back to confirm and to ask when I could expect my order to be ready since Mike didn't give me that info. and I would be walking there. I'd never having been to a JJ myself before but I was told by the second person I spoke to "Doug", that "we'll make it as soon as possible". ok, so I asked him to verify my total and he asked what my order number was. to that i said i wasn;t given an order number so he asked for a phone number which I gave him and apparently, they put my work phone number under someone else's order and when i explained he had the wrong info. Doug just kept repeating 'well that's what's in the system'. He put me on hold and came back with the right order and total and the next thing i know, a delivery person calls me on my work phone to tell me he was in my building with my order. Again, I had to explain that there was a mix-up and he had the wrong number associated with someone else's order. I walk to get my order and was told-'we don't have it in the system". Completely peeved at this time, I asked for "Mike". When the cashier told him he had a customer, he kept running his mouth with other people. Finally someone else asked me what my name and order was and they found it. Not impressed with this place or customer service and will NOT be giving my time or money to them again. They should not be so fast that it affects customer service negatively. read more

I ordered a platter to cater dinner for work and ordered it a day in advance so that it would be made on time. When I showed up and asked for my order, the staff gave me a blank stare and then questioned the store I ordered the sandwiches from. When I showed them my confirmation email, they found the order in their computer and then started making it. They were "freakishly fast" at making the 30 mini-sandwich platter, but it was mostly because they just threw meat and veggies as quickly as possible into bread. Very sloppy. They handed me the platter with half the sandwiches open and the contents falling out. They also handed it to me without a bag, and when I asked for a bag, the worker took his sweet time, unloaded a ton of bread from the oven, then threw a bag at me. There were no apologies from any of the staff, no refund for making sloppy sandwiches, and no gifts for their mistake and for making me late to work.
