I'm posting this review on behalf of my boyfriend and his experience. It was my first time going into Jimmy Johns today.(March 23rd) The young girl at the register was great. Had many recommendations. I decided to order the beach club. Turkey, tomato, avocado, spread... ect After leaving with my sandwich I realized there's no avocado spread, so I go back and ask for some. The young man in charge was a great help! He was trying to figure out who made the sandwich.. (which wasn't necessary. Just adding the missing avocado would have sufficed) The two girls on the clock, came out and wouldn't answer the gentleman's question. (I believe it was the younger girl who made my sandwich) But that's not why I am upset. The second girl, who was rude right off the bat, made faces at me. Trying to make me seem dumb, talking to me in an unpleasant manner. After leaving with my sandwich, angry, the avocado spread was placed between the cheese. So when you bite into the sandwich the avocado shot out from the sides and made a mess. I lost my appetite due to the attitude and unpleasantness of the young lady. I won't be going back because of the young lady's service and the poor sandwich structure. read more

I ate here for the first time I had my doubt...impressed with quality and super fast service. I had the #9 Italian club and enjoyed it. Good portions too and nice to be able to order any sides. Love the large pickle too.....Will come again and staff is friendly. read more

Just now tried this for the first time. $8.50 for a tiny sandwich... Jersey Mike's and Mungeon's Deli in Newbury Park remain at the top of my list. read more

I had the Italian Nightclub with hot peppers. It was fantastic. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food.

I typically order delivery. Have not had an incorrect order and I swear they fly here! I can't believe how fast the food arrives. Bread is delicious! read more

I can't speak for the sliced deli meat subs here as I've only tried the tuna and the premium veggie sandwiches. The veggie sandwich I had was basically an uncooked quesadilla on sandwich bread. Tons of lettuce and too much cheese, with two slices of tomato and probably less than a tablespoon of guacamole for $10+ with chips and a drink. The tuna sandwich was pretty much the same with less cheese and a really lame amount of tuna. I honestly wouldn't come here unless you really like lettuce and bread. 3 stars because the sandwich bread is actually pretty bomb and they get the sandwiches out to you super fast read more

I tried it and wanted to like it since it's so close but it's all bread and not much meat unless you want to pay extra. Taste was ok but i'd probably choose jersey mike's or topper's subs. I'll give it one more chance and edit my review if it's better. read more

I had ordered once before online for delivery for a office function and many subs were incorrectly prepared I figured since it was a large order it was confusing . But I went in person for myself and wasn't sure what to order or how. the menu was busy and the person at the register wasn't helpful in explaining the process. Overall ok subs, not so great customer service. read more

I went to FSU for college and this was a weekly staple in my diet. I was so excited to have come across this little gem of a sandwich shop open in Camarillo today. I ordered to go. I got the beach club with everything "jimmied up" It was so fantastic that I want another one now! I live in Ventura but drive through Camarillo about 3 times a week. Guess where I'll be eating lunch 3 times a week! My only request is that they open up one in Ventura, pretty please!! read more

Great food, great service! Growing up in the Midwest, I've been a fan of Jimmy John's for years. I was very excited to see one going in around the corner from my home, and I hoped it would live up to memory. It does! The sandwiches are tasty, the ingredients are fresh, and the service was very polite and friendly, prompt as well. Their online ordering platform is awesome too - very easy to navigate, and when you order online for delivery, the food arrives as quickly as it would if you called. Love me some JJ's! read more

I went here for lunch today, the staff was friendly, I ordered a roast beef with cheese, no lettuce or tomato. I was shocked when I opened the wrapper and could not see anything but bun, I opened the bun to find TWO slices of roast beef and a slice of cheese. I wont be wasting my money here again read more

Tried it a couple weeks ago. Sandwiches are kind of small and basically just another sub type sandwich. Except theyre quite a bit more expensive. It there was an obvious quality difference sure. But there isnt. Pick a sub shop and its the same. Quizno's closing everywhere the past 5 years (ironically this shop took the last Quizno's place around here) won't be a surprise when this one follows suit. read more

I went to college in Illinois and that's when I was first introduced to Jimmy Johns. I had missed JJs for 5+ years so you can imagine how excited I was about this place coming to my hometown camarillo! It was just like I remembered. I read some of the reviews about the pricing and/or quality...and I can say with every ounce of my review power that the price and quality are great. They make the bread everyday...it's the JJ's way. This is 500% better than subway where their sandwiches are "fresh" (and I use that term very loosely). Love this place and I'll be back frequently! :) read more

Worst sandwich I ever had , barely any meat even after I paid for double meat , over priced . I would rather eat at subway least they put meat on there sandwich . sent corp. office a message never heard back , I would recommend jersey mikes better sandwich same price. read more

Jimmy Johns is one of the few chains I love. Staff is friendly and the facility is very clean! Taste great!

I discovered Jimmy Johns when I lived in St. George, Utah and have never been able to eat at another sandwich joint since then. When I moved back home to California I was SO HAPPY to find out that they were opening one in Camarillo! Today is JJ customer appreciation day and they are swamped but all of the employees are super nice (like always) and in great spirits (like always!) I have never had a bad experience at any of the JJ's and have turned all of my friends into addicts! read more

Fast, reliable and convenient. Staff keeps the facilities very clean which I think separates this place from other local sub shops. The manager and employees are friendly and accommodating and I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. Keep it up! read more

I've been to this place a handful of times now and they have never disappointed me. Rich tasty goodness each and every time. I'm hooked on the #12 Beach Club. My favorite part is the fresh crisp veggies. Oh and of course the option to add sprouts yuuuuuum!!!! The employees are always super warm and friendly and extremely helpful. I've never had to wait more then 3-5 minutes for my sandwich. Keep up the good work guys!!!! read more

Ordered for delivery last week and the sandwiches were great. Ordered again tonight. Got a call back within 10 minutes saying our address was out of the delivery range. So disappointing as we have received a delivery already. They took our order. We had a great tip ready for the driver. Guess they don't want our money. read more

Beyond the scope that the food is great but they work hard to take care of every customer. We come here and love the food but have Celiac Disease and thanks to Jessica and her team, this location makes sure we not only get the delicious meal ("unwiched") but they make sure that nothing contaminates our items. Jessica is an employee that takes service to another stratosphere- she remembers her customers and their preferences which, especially for those with allergies, makes it so pleasant a place to visit. Quality and quantity are severely lacking- especially in the meat department. I felt like I was eating bread and, well, bread. I opened the sandwich to find minimal meat and an extremely light sprinkle of lettuce. Will NOT be going back for their subs. Will, however, go back for their $0.50 loaves and fill with my own fixings at home. read more

Makes a good Club Lulu but the bacon was cold. The bread is homemade and amazing, especially the French. Workers were nice, sandwiches were made very quickly. Clean facility. The owner is hot. read more

I recently got a cheese sandwich which was very expensive and only a few pieces of cheese, a few mealy, old tomatoes and a smattering of shredded iceberg lettuce. It was the most boring and disappointing sandwich I have ever eaten. The people working there seemed nice and helpful but that doesn't help the lack of toppings included on your sandwich. My review got taken down earlier which shocked me but if I am not believed for whatever reason just scroll down, someone else put up a photo of their sandwich and you can see for yourself! We stopped here on our way to Santa Barbara and it was a great choice. Our sandwiches were made quickly so we didnt have to waste any time. The sandwiches are absolutely amazing I love the bread! We will return on our way back to LA for another sandwich read more

This place is a joke! Selling gas station style pre-made sandwiches for $10. It's like my sandwich was made by a toddler. Bad bread, cheap shredded iceberg lettuce, and a smear of avocado. Never again. read more

Stopped here while traveling north a few days ago. Was very disappointed in the quality of these sandwiches. The bread was very pale and had the texture of microwaved bread, way too chewy. There was no choice for a light eater, smallest was 8". I had the veggie sandwich and it had a ton of lettuce and very skimpy on tomatoes and cucumber. They say it also has real avocado sauce, but there was so little of that it could not be tasted. I did not eat most of mine. My hubby's sandwich was a turkey and was no better and they charge an additional $1 if you want a tiny bit of cheese. Would not go back to this place. read more

I went to Jimmy John's for the first time recently, and I will not be going back again... Their sandwiches lack any real flavor and are mostly just stuffed full of lettuce. Having never been there before, I also didn't realize until after I paid that I was supposed to tell them what NOT to put on my sub at the register, and they seemed annoyed that I had to ask them to not put mayo or cucumbers on my sub. And in order to get pickles on my sub, I had to order a whole pickle (which I paid for), and then they sliced it into fourths and put it on my sub... But overall, it was just the lack of flavor that made me never want to go back! read more

Absolutely disgusting! And terrible service too! Rude staff. No greeting. Mumbled everything they said. Threw my sandwich down on the counter and never said anything like "thank you" or " have a good day." The meat in the roast beef was totally dry and nasty. Never coming back here. read more

Very similar to jersey mikes other than fewer options but still very tasty and not as expensive. Customer service is always fast and have never waited longer than 5 mins for my order. Definitely worth a try! read more
