This location is one of my favorites. The food is always great and the service matches it. The atmosphere is chill and nice. The music isn't too loud and you can sit and enjoy your meal if you choose bits never extremely busy when I do I'm able to get in and out real quickly. Picked up my sub from an online order, at home, and it is totally wrong. No mayonnaise, no cheese, no avocado spread for a veggie sandwich. Just tomatoes, pickles, and peppers on bread. I called and the manager, Cassidy, said I would have to pay to have a new one delivered, I could come all the way back over, or they would just refund it. She said it was a new person and to give them a break. They act like it was my fault they made the sub wrong. Why should I have to go out of my way to get it corrected? I do not eat bread so I love being able to go to Jimmy John's and get a 'sub'. They offer the lettuce wrap which is perfect for me. It's a great size and always fresh. The price is average for a sub. We placed our order at 7:45, and did not receive it until 8:35. That's not "fast" by any stretch of the imagination. When I finally received my order it was missing chips. I spent $28 on food that was super late. It doesn't matter if it was just chips-my order was wrong. I called the restaurant and the person I spoke to was rude and condescending and acted like I was in the wrong. He literally said "Do you want me to refund you $3 for your $1.50 chips?" which doesn't even make sense, maybe offer to correct the mistake instead? This is the most frustrating place to order from. I continue to order because for some reason, I really like the bread. I have a standard order saved to my account and I can honestly say that at least 50% of the time my sandwich is incorrect. I specifically ask for no cheese... yet there's cheese on it. Tried Jimmy Johns for the first time. Not impressed at all. I ordered a Veggie just as it was listed on the menu. The menu did not list mayo as an ingredient and it was lathered in mayo when I got home. Not only that, the majority of the sub was bread. When you open the wrapper you would expect to see lettuce falling out or meat stacked but no, the bread looked like a closed coffin. Sticking with Jersey Mike's- way better. read more

I used to love Jimmy John's. They were the only place that carried sprouts, and boy, do I love me some sprouts! Sadly, they did away with those due to problems with E. Coli outbreaks (5 to be precise since 2008. What I found really humorous though was I had heard rumors that the chain was going to be getting rid of them a few months ago. So I called the Battleground location and asked the girl who answered the phone if they still carried them. Her response? "No ma'am. They were poisoning people." Frankly, I couldn't be horrible because I was too busy laughing. I'm hoping her boss wasn't around because I'm pretty sure he didn't want that young lady scaring off his customers. Work at a hospital that has limited food options at night. Attempted to place order online with multiple people ordering-for whatever reason it would not go through. We then called to place our order over the phone, and the kid that answered did NOT want to take our order and stated repeatedly that they close in "8 minutes". Needless to say, we did not place an order with them and chance either A-Not getting our food or B-something being done to our food since we were ordering "8 minutes" before they closed. I love Jimmy John's. I really do! But this location made me sad today. I ordered the veggie sub and a large diet coke to be delivered to my hotel. And I got a meat-filled sub (ew!) and a smaller soda. I called them immediately to notify of the mistake about the sandwich and asked for an extra soda. They were apologetic and fixed the problem for me for free, but the whole ordering process took about 45 minutes before I had my favorite delicious veggie sub in hand. Not freaky fast! I should mention that this mistake was not made by the delivery driver - because the ticket stapled to the bag was correct but the item inside did not match the ticket. Today's events were uncharacteristic of my experiences with the company as a whole. I think this would make Jimmy sad, too. I've used the Battleground location a lot in the past because it's fast and convenient when I can't leave my job. The delivery guys and girls are always real friendly. My issue is with the cost of delivery now. My sandwich is $6. After a $2 delivery charge, taxes, and $1.50 tip, it was going to cost $9.91. For just the sandwich. I say WAS because I ended up not ordering it. Their quality has gone downhill. I'm not paying a 30% delivery upcharge on a sandwich that has very little meat (and what they use is paper thin) and one slice of cheese and now you can't even order condiments for it. When I ask that mayo be included in the bag, 90% of the time, I don't get it. So I'm pretty much just eating bread. No thanks. read more

Disappointed in customer service and toppings for subs, choices and how much or should I say how small the topping portions were. Was not pleased to see one of the sub makers wiping the knife for cutting the sandwiches, on his apron. I have eaten at many Jimmy John's locations and have always felt the food was consistently good. This location is an exception. I fed my family of five and we were all disappointed. The bread was not fresh, the tuna was past its prime and the "Big John" barely had any meat. With all of the choices available in the area, I would recommend eating somewhere else. read more

Freaky fast and always delicious (I never knew I could appreciate a cold sub until I discovered their Beach Club, now I order once a week) but one complaint: I never get a napkin in the bag, just a glossy card stock menu that always gets trashed because I order online anyway, and it's totally ineffective at mopping up avocado and mayo drippings.
