I've made a couple of visits here recently. What drew me here was the introduction of their pickle sandwiches. A sandwich that uses a pickle rather than a piece of bread. I tried the Vito Picklewich. I'm a fan of good quality pickles, but this pickle was a little on the small side, and most disapointingly, tasted more like a cucumber than a pickle. There was almost no vinegary dill taste to the pickle. The contents which included salami, capocollo, provolone and vegetables, were fine, but the overall result was disappointing. (2/5) I've also tried their Country Club sandwich. It was a solid sandwich. The sandwich contents stuck together somewhat, which made eating it a challenge because the bread surrounding the meats and cheeses was sliding around, forcing me to try to wrap the bread around the contents as I ate the sandwich. (4/5) The service was civil, and proper, but the people working there didn't look like they were having fun.

Jimmy John's will forever be my go-to as a reliable source for my deli/sandwich needs. I stopped by during my lunch break to try the viral "PICKLEWHICH" and pickle chips. This location is a bit small, but there is seating available for wait time and dining in, the staff are typically friendly but order online if you're stopping by during their lunch rush. The turkey picklewhich was delicious! It comes with a whole pickle, hallowed out, with your protein of choice, with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. It had the garlicky juicy pickle goodness along with the crunch of lettuce, tomatoes and adding the pickle chips gives it an elevated dill flavor and crunch. While a bit messy, it tasted great. While I absolutely love Jimmy John's, especially their dill pickles, I don't necessarily feel it was worth $9.50. It's quite small, I had to come home and add more protein (turkey and salami) along with more veggies to make it more filling. It just comes to show, it definitely didn't look like how it's advertised or on social media. It a great snack, perfect for those on keto, or low carb, but not a meal the slightest. While I want to eat it again, the cost wouldn't allow me to. PRO TIP: If you love their pickles like me, you may be better off purchasing the pickle itself for $3 and add your own cold cuts to it, because their pickles are unmatched! I'll return, but I'll keep ordering other menu items.

    Not very nice.

Really bad service and customer service from this lady. Doesn't greet, no smile. When ask her help she seems bothered.

Moved up to 4 stars bc the cashier was so attentive with us, and the veggies tasted fresh. It was my first time here, and my second time ever having Jimmy Johns. I asked for my sandwich to be toasted, and it was not. It's sad to have to pay so much money and can't get your order how you asked. Yes, I should have went back and asked for it to be done over. However, we already waited long time, and I was so hungry. Would I try JJs again, yes, maybe.

    #4 TURKEY TOM

I ordered a Turkey Tom and was so disappointed when I opened it. After traveling all day I was so hungry and was looking forward to a delicious sandwich. There was only two tomatoes, a sprinkle of lettuce and maybe two slices of turkey. The bread wasn't very soft either. I did not finish eating it. It wasn't worth the cost and I wouldn't go to or order from this location again. The pickle I ordered on the side was the only thing I enjoyed.

My half roast beef and half turkey sandwich was complimented by a giant Dill pickle that unfortunately was quartered without my consent!

Very professional and efficient staff. Place is always clean. We order by app and everything is ready in minutes for a quick and nearly timeless getaway! Love their sandwiches and am addicted to the big pickle; as ling as they keep it whole rather than quarter it!

Walked in about 45 minutes before closing on 09/30/24 after a long ass roadtrip. Never been to JJ so didn't know what to expect. The service was AMAZING. There were 3 people. Didn't get any of their names but they were super helpful and went out of their way to help me choose a sandwich. Sandwich was pretty good as well. I got the Country Club. I also got a triple chip cookie and it was so-so. No one else there but the music was nice and I felt comfortable even though I was exhausted.

Located off Rosecrans in Hawthorne. Parking is shared with the other businesses in the center. The place is not too big there are a few tables inside. I got the Turkey Tom which was good. The staff was good and service was pretty quick. Overall a good sandwich spot and their sandwiches are good as well.

Two little tablespoons of tuna. Shame!

This is consistently the worst JJ around! The staff has no professionalism or customer service skills. JJ as a franchise has good sandwiches and ingredients. However, this particular location never makes the sandwiches right. There's always missing toppings and they barely give you meat. It's really ridiculous that you are basically forced to pay for "double" meat only to receive the proper portion that should have been added in the first place. Whoever owns this location, needs to fire the entire staff and thoroughly review applicants or just close down and stop destroying the JJ franchise.

Order ahead on the app! Very streamlined, earn rewards, just walk in and get it off the pick up rack. Sandwiches are tasty and reliable. Bread smells great! Loses one star because I can't use a coupon code and redeem a free cookie or sandwich in the same order. If I earned the reward, I should be able to use it regardless of other public offers.

This is the avocado spread. Nothing on it !!

The Reuben with corned beef and the Reuben with pastrami. Both plates come with your choice of a salad and pickles. I recommend the potato salad; it's my culinary guilty pleasure. Truthfully, I don't get that much a smoky taste from the pastrami, but it's still delicious. That corned beef is so wonderful, it's so tender and falls apart so easily upon a bite. Their soda menu is a very lowkey, unsung hero. I've tried soda brands you don't typically see in grocery stores. Their ginger ale hits the spot without fail each time. I think one drawback is that this place doesn't allow adjustments. I've personally never asked for any, but I can see how other customers might find that off-putting. I typically do a pick-up order vs. dining in, but when I do enjoy the sandwich in the restaurant - the service is super quick and cordial. The interior of the place itself isn't exactly upscale, but it's also more polished than a standard diner. TONS of seating inside and a few tables outside if you want to enjoy your food with some fresh air. I chose the cucumber salad. The pastrami sandwich was huge. It was packed with a lot of high quality, tender pastrami meat. The plate also comes with a side of pickles, so yes, I was full afterwards. My coffee cup was always filled, tasted good, and hot. The two staff that were waiting on all the tables were friendly and efficient. There was never a moment I felt neglected. It's prefect for both small and large groups. Parking: Free, shared strip mall. Crowded, small parking spaces.
