Sandwich was terrible. 7-11 has better cold sandwiches AND they're cheaper. My sandwich here had no meat, it was put together sloppy, and the sandwich was flat. Buy a sandwich at Raley's or Safeway and I guarantee you better quality. read more

We thought we'd stop in and try it for the first time... We were highly disappointed. We were charge for three chips when we only got two. then the gentleman that I believe was the manager didn't know how to do it for void or return to reimburse us for the chips that we didn't get it. My husband sandwich had onions on it when he asked for none. Nap kids were unavailable to the public, they were all behind the counter where the employees are. In the women's restroom there were no sanitary toilet liners. I'm pretty sure that's California code and illegal. There's not much selection, there was only one bread choice and one cheese choice. I will say that the vegetables were very fresh and so was the bread. But all-around we were very disappointed. I don't think will be back to Jimmy John's anytime soon. read more

I am a big fan of their Club Tuna - the best one from a fast food sandwich chain. It's the only sandwich I get. I am just addicted to it! Anyhow, their drive-thru is just that... you pull up, recite your order, pull up to the window, pay, get change and viola - your sandwich is handed lickity split to you. It ain't cheap, but good food isn't always cheap. If you want decent sandwiches go to that place where they didn't know how many inches are in a foot long. Being Jimmy's John's new to area, thought we might try out, sorry we did; ordered 2 #10's supposed to be 1/4lb of roast beef, am guessing that's with the employee's thumb on the scale very skimpy sandwiches, but full of veggies guessing that makes up for the loss of meat. Bread was average, no salt/pepper, peppers, mustard and one type of cheese ..... very boring sandwiches .... The sandwiches are lackluster; I think that's the best description I can offer. They aren't bad, they just don't have that many options or flavorful additions. If you compare this to an Ike's, an Erik's, a Firehouse Subs, or even a Subway, you'll find that there are just so few combinations, sauces, breads, and add-ons. The only saving grace is that they deliver, otherwise I would give this place one star. Again, the sandwiches aren't bad, they just aren't in any way impressive or varied. I asked them to put salt and pepper on my sandwich. They told me they couldn't put on salt and pepper, but I could have salt and pepper packets. I thought they were joking. They were not. they said that they can't because it would slow them down. We were there at 11:30 and we were alone. They were not doing any catering orders. I said, "I guess the customer isn't right anymore. The manager looked away from me. I cancelled my sandwich. Then I asked them if they could compromise at all. They finally made the sandwich and then let it sit on the counter. My wife tells me, "are they going to warp the sandwich?" It sits there for another few minutes and then they said, "I think he wants it wrapped. Really? Of course I want it wrapped. Am I going to put it on while I'm driving? We went there because my step mom just died and I was buying sandwiches for the family. Salt and pepper? Salt and pepper? All my friends and family have heard the story a lot the last few weeks. Second time coming to this restaurant and I left fuming mad. I got a roast beef sandwich and asked them to add avocado, add $1 for it, okay whatever that's fine. I get to my car and look at it and there's like a really thin and small amount of avocado and the sandwich is not cut in half... So I walk back in and tell them what's up and they thumb through my sandwich and say yeah it's there and cut my sandwich in half and hand it back to me. I walked out and threw the sandwich in the trash. If you touch someone's food YOU MAKE THEM A NEW SANDWICH!!! I would LOVE to speak to the manager and tell them that the rude employees that they have working for them is what's driving their business elsewhere. I have been to Jimmy John's 4 times now along with my husband. We have been very pleased with their subs. They are very fast and have a drive-thru and delivery. I always get the Vito which is a very good Italian sub. Although you don't get all of the choices as you get at Subways or Togos I find that the subs are of better quality. And FAST! I can spend $5.99 for the Vito sub - which is a far better choice than a $5 hamburger or chicken sandwich at other fast food places. read more

I stepped into this place about two weeks ago. The first time, I was welcomed by an extremely rude manager. He had a small beard and was probably on drugs. I was with my son and had a very concerning conversation with me about it. My son is a regular, he said he would always go in but prefers to go through the drive-thru just to avoid seeing him. He mentioned that the girl employees seem uncomfortable to be there. As a customer it is concerning to see those girls look uncomfortable/scared to be around a person like that. If I had a daughter I would not want her to work there!!! We both went back on Saturday and there was all girls with just him. How does a person that clearly looks to be heavily into drugs! His rude attitude towards the girls made us so uncomfortable that we decided to take our sandwiches to go. The friendly staff was not aware of how to ring it up, but took care of the coupon right away with no issue or time lost of us. Very professional, quick and friendly service. This is only a sandwich place. They have chips, soda, pickles and cookies. My husband and I had the JJ gargantuan sandwich ($10.00) each, that for the price, wasn't all that gargantuan. It did have one slice of all the meats that was listed on menu but some lettuce and couple slices of tomatoes. It was good but nothing to blab about. If you want something more for your money go to Deli Delicious where the sandwiches are more stuffed with meat and veggies and just as big of a selection, Along with beer batter fries and the service and atmosphere is much more friendly and personable.
