Food was okay. Everything including the bread tasted pretty good. Restaurant was clean. Unfortunately the service was typical with what you get these days in a fast food place tun by a bunch of immature adults that would rather be anywhere else then having to work serving people that were interrupting their playtime. There was no adult supervision. No friendly hellos, no smiles, no Thank Yous or eye contact. Just dead expressions and body language that said "hurry up and go because you're making me work". While eating my lunch I watched 2 employees making out up against the cash register by the drive thru window, another 2 making out right in the middle of the kitchen area behind the counter in plain sight. I'm no prude, but it seems like anywhere to do that would have been better than right up front for all the customers to see. It was weird and distracting. Lastly, and the most rude was the guy making sandwiches. For some reason the napkins weren't given when I ordered my food, and they weren't out anywhere I could see. So I asked the guy behind the counter making the sandwiches for some napkins and he just pointed at them instead of handing them to me. 8/12/2023 we went there today for lunch and spent 45.00 on 3 sandwich lunch combos. You'd think for $45, you'd get exceptional service? Hell, I would settled for mediocre service. The sandwich people moved with some sense of urgency, while the cashier, drive through teller, and the food bagger had no personality, no people skills, and not even the slightest interest in helping the guests. When our number was called, we asked if we could get the sandwiches bagged because they were to go. She pointed at the stack of bags and said, they're right there along with the napkins, so we bagged our order and left, never to return. For $45 dollars, I can go to a deli get plenty of lunch meat, cheeses and several varieties of bread and snacks for the same amount and have plenty of leftovers more more sandwiches. I get it. To get a pathetic voicemail claiming with ten minutes left that they dont have any french bread left...ok maybe I will give you that. My husbands likes there country club sandwich but this place has the worst service. When I ordered I ask for my sandwich on bread as I don't like their buns. The buns are cold and taste like day old. When my order was ready...it was on a bun. We just stopped for my husband to get a sandwich. It took forever. There was one sitting there so my husband ask if was his. Yup. They just hadn't called. Three stars given purely on the fact the food is good and service is quick. Only three stars because none of the employees at this jimmy johns understand what extra ice means! I love Iced tea and if the tea has little ice it then becomes simply tea! Attention all employees I know the soda comes out of fountain cold but tea does not. In order to make fresh brewed iced tea you run boiling water thru tea leaves and filtered into a metal container. the reaction of the water and the leaves create what is known as tea. In order to create iced tea you must use a lot of ice. I know in the everyone gets a trophy generation that is working now it may be hard to comprehend this simple physics but when I asked for extra ice I expect you to put extra ice in the freakin cup. read more

Had to write a review for this place... My husband and I were working on a project at home, but needed a quick bite to eat. I decided to order some Jimmy Johns and have it delivered. Our sandwiches were at our doorstep in 9 minutes. NINE minutes. That is absolutely absurd. We live 5 minutes away, so they had made our food and were en route in under 4 minutes. Even pizza takes 45 minutes to get to your door. In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with the #5 "Vito" unwich (no bread). It's got salami, onions, tomatoes, and other tasty stuff that I can't remember. I get it every time and I'm never disappointed. Waaaay better than Subway, and unbelievably quick. read more

This spot is usually right on the money. Delicious sandwiches. Nice staff. Until recently. I'm not sure if the pandemic is to blame, and everyone is just grouchy, but JJs in PV has seriously gone downhill. Make sure you tell them in advance that you want your sandwich as a meal, or the super rude employee will gripe about how difficult it is to press three more buttons to add a soda and chips to your order. Very disappointed I asked for hot peppers on the side and they forgot it was on the recipe. Funny thing it's about one 1 out of 3 trys you get them . Seems to me that they think them peppers are made out of gold you can't pay extra to buy them they hate given any of them on your sub when you ask for them. The sandwich maker had no skills not only that the cost went up, so for us it makes it our last visit. The sandwich was dry, no oil vinegar and hardly any lettuce and no tomato so the sandwich was dry with a lot of lunch meat. read more

My husband and I love this Jimmy John's - which is the only one around here and the first one we've ever tried. The first time we went inside, found it a bit noisy and busy for our liking, so have been using the drive-through and just bringing our sandwiches home. The #9 Italian Nights with all the freebies (except sprouts, yuk) and made Unwich style is just delicious. I think their prices are a bit high but for once a month or so it's not that bad - including tax about $18 for two HUGE unwich sandwich. They do a great job wrapping it up so you can eat it easily and there is plenty of lettuce keeping all the goodies in side. Can't speak to their regular sandwiches or bread but if you're doing any form of low carb (we do Keto) or just don't want the bread - it's a great option. read more

First time for Jimmy John's. We went on Sunday early afternoon. Place was busy- good for them. The young man at the register could plainly see that we were first-timers but offered no assistance until we were ready to place our order. Pleasant enough but having gotten used to the SOP at a Subway, I was expecting a choice of bread and what I would like to have on my sub; did not happen. We waited for our order to be called and received two small packages - no bag for a to-go order. We got home and opened the packages to see just standard fare - a few thin slices of meat with some shredded lettuce ( I do not like shredded lettuce - they offer full leaves on other sandwiches), and the bread was hard. No cheese, no sprouts, no frills. I don't think Subway has to worry about Jimmy John's putting them out of business. The interior was very nice, clean, and well-staffed but they are still the 'new' place in town. If I want a cold sub I may try them again, but not likely if I see a Subway where I can choose what veggies and condiments I would like instead of prefabed off of the menu. read more

Stopped in for a quick sandwich on the run. Order three sandwiches to go. Ask for courtesy cup for water. Cashier gave me a medium sized cup. I asked her for another. She replyed, "I'd have to charge you 50 cents for that one. We ran out of courtesy cups." So I laughed and asked if they always charged customers for restaurant problems. A snotty manager piped in and started bemoaning how the driver didn't show and he's doing the best he could. So I took out a 20 to pay. He said just let have it. He then said under his breath, "It's a courtesy cup; I don't have to let you have it." Talk about lack of gratitude by a manager. STAY AWAY from this Jimmy John's in Prescott Valley AZ. As an update to my original review, the food is still good overall; however, it has been a bit spotty as the sandwiches have not been uniform in taste and amount of ingredients include it in the sandwich. also, on a couple occasions they been out of certain sandwich toppings. read more

I think the sandwiches are great. I usually get the Italian Night Club. It's full of meat and cheese and I ask them to add a little extra mayo which they always do. The staff greets you every time you come in. Nice bunch of kids in my opinion. read more

ABSOLUTELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Since I can't give it ZERO stars, I'm forced to give them one. But, they don't even deserve that. Our company did a large catering order for about 70 people (give or take). We spent A LOT of money on this order and they wouldn't even deliver it to us, even though it's only a 7 min drive from their facility to ours. But, I digress.... We ordered box lunches, we did NOT get box lunches. We ordered a few veggie sandwiches, we did NOT get veggie anything. Some of the sandwiches barely had any meat on them at all, and a few of them only had ONE (yes, 1) slice of meat on them!! AND to top it all off, we were missing some!!! We called to see if they would fix the problem, expecting them to be accommodating about it but, the manager got all huffy and started yelling at us, saying that WE were wrong, that she, herself, had personally counted them 3 times and every one of the sandwiches were there. Well, we are the ones that passed them out to our employees...I think we'd know if we had every sandwich! She even had the nerve to suggest that we somehow, from the car to the building, LOST THEM!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME, RIGHT NOW!! After my coworker told her that we would NOT be ordering from them ever again and hung up, the manager tried to call her back. She left us a voicemail message, trying to cover her butt, by offering to fix the issue. After the way she treated us, NO WAY! Why would we take the risk of our food being spit in....or worse!! So, some of our employees didn't get to eat lunch. Thanks a lot, Jimmy Johns!! You have poorer-than poor service. You have officially LOST one of your biggest paying customers!! read more

I've never heard of Jimmy Johns sandwich shops until we lived in Idaho. We moved back to AZ from Idaho and lo and behold a Jimmy Johns opens within miles of our home! The staff is friendly and helpful - very upbeat place to hang out for lunch, very clean restaurant, the food has always been very fresh and made in a professional and timely manner. I wouldn't change a thing! Whoever is running this shop must have opened many in his day - knows what he is doing!!!! read more
