Gross .....plain, boring, Subway is better if you go for that kind of sandwich.

I was very excited to sink my teeth into all of those meats but then the double heap of mayo which violated even the most innocent parts of my throat and squirted from my mouth was the instant I realized I had made the wrong choice. And now for the cheese selection or should I say...the LACK of cheese selection. Provalone...more like provalame. Lastly the pickles were speared and she wouldn't even put them on my sandwich. It's not easy getting out of bed every day being 117 years old but today was my last would meal I was able to have due to terminal illness I have been battling for 20 years but enough about about me and my life battles.. to start things off I have spent my whole life enjoying a nice crisp WHOLE pickle. I was thoughrouly disappointed to find they spear their pickles. Some people just want to watch the world burn. My sandwich was to say the least sub par I decided on a reasonable turkey sandwich but found that I would be pillaged again where it hurts for a cheese. If that wasn't dissapointing enough I got slapped in the face with fact that they only have one CHEESE!!!!!!! I was livid and almost walked out of the store but then realized that I wouldn't make it to the car due to my blood sugar was perilously low and I was feeling faint. The sandwich was filled to the brim with soggy lettuce and the meat was sliced so paper thin you could see though it. The bread had an odd surface of the moon texture to it that cut up the of my feeble mouth and then the mustard burned my poor lacerated tongue. Later that night before bed my bowles exploded with course bread bits and lette. As for the rest of my experience the customer service was just super. Basically a one start establishment but I was generous enough for two because of the customer service as I mentioned earlier. They made my last day day a little more bearable. read more

Not that great! Especially for the price. They charge extra for a pickle but won't put them on your sandwich. Also couldn't get my order right. Tables aren't conducive to a high chair as they're too high. Won't be back as there are many better places such as Sand Witch or Jersey Mikes. read more

I first tried Jimmy John's in the city of San Francisco and it was delicious there I was so excited when they opened one up in Upland. I actually have only been there twice first experience was so so, so did you give it a second chance so I phoned in an order to have it delivered to my home I believe they charge me something like $2.75 for delivery charge I ordered Italian sandwich with a large Diet Coke and a pickle delivery was fast and prompt the driver was very friendly but the Sandwich was a total disappointment it was mostly made with lettuce and bread the meet was so paperthin and so very little I don't believe I had any salami at all just the other type of meat that comes in it there was maybe three slices of meat and 2 slices of cheese. I will not be returning back for a third chance for the price that they charge and my experience in San Francisco I was expecting to get the same type of sandwich at the Upland location I will be trying a different sandwich shop in the future. read more

First time eating a Jimmy Johns sub. it was better than the large national chain Sub*** which i do like but this was better plus they deliver and they do it fast, i ordered a sub at 12:41 pm and i was blown away when it arrived at 12:49 pm and they are at least 2 miles away... this was on a Monday. the gal that delivered it had a big smile on her face as well... you guys rock!!! love it read more

My husband was really excited to have me try this place. He loved his previous visit and the #16 sandwich he ordered. I ordered the #6, a veggie sandwich. It was sad. Well sad sandwich to go with the sad service. When calling to place a delivery the guy on the phone sounds depressed, asked for card info without even giving a total ( not the first time). Then when food arrived no extra lettuce, mayo packets, mustard packets or napkins when all of this was asked for and was told "yeah yeah we got it" well I guess not. Last time ordered a diet coke and was repeated back and still got regular. I love jimmy johns. I first went to one years ago in Birmingham, AL and the food was straight forward and delicious and the staff was so friendly. I've had nothing but the same experience here in upland. The turkey tom with added avocado and jalapeño chips are perfect with a Mello Yello. (if you like soft drinks) read more

I Love this Place. Its my Go-to for Lunch when I'm stuck in my office. From the time I order to when I get the sandwich its literally around 10 minutes. The people working there are really nice and work fast. I'm very happy with their service and the Sandwiches are really good. I was pleasantly surprised to see that we now have Jimmy John's in the area because it's mostly a Midwest thing. They have the softest bread and I like that they put guac spread on the veggie sandwich. They have a friendly staff and you don't have to wait long to get your sandwich. read more

Went in today to grab a sandwich. Had a gift card and everytime I swiped it the card reader said card reader error. Three employees later they still couldn't take it. Don't understand why they couldn't type the number in. They said they couldn't take it and asked how I wanted to pay for it. How this place is a franchise, beats me. The food is garbage. You literally could make a better sandwich at home. Please don't waste your time online ordering a sandwich and having it delivered to your work. I order online two hours prior to my lunch. When I checked the status of my wait time to be delivered it stated it was delivered. I asked who signed for it and they stated it was just dropped off. I did not receive the sandwich and when I called they told me to go and try and see if it was at the front desk. For special instructions I put give to the front desk. I had already done this prior and informed them this. I talked to the manager and she stated she did not have a driver to bring a new one. I informed her I ordered at that time because it was my lunch. No driver sorry 3-5 days to return money to my cardNever again will I go there. Just a FYI. read more

I love this place great sandwiches glad their in the neighborhood, I always love to try new sandwich shops. I tried jimmy johns in Idaho and Las Vegas. Extremely happy there is a location now out here in upland near by. Awesome add on to the community. They are fast and the workers are very friendly. How cool that they also deliver in the community. This place was awful. I gave then two stars one for cleanliness and one for happy employee's but the food sucks. I got a sandwich (Italian) with no meat it was a bread sandwich. The least they could do was load up on veggies but no. If you like pickles though that's about all that was good. He was loud, super obnoxious and insisted on singing loudly to the music that was on. Super unprofessional. It was easy to tell other customers were annoyed as well. My family and I ate here tonight not impressed with their food. In my opinion they use cheap ham like the lunch meat style that they slice paper thin, also they leave the edges on the ham it grossed me out. Also there was only 1 very thinly sliced peice of turkey Very little lettuce on the bun also. I ordered the the country something the one with ham and turkey then added extra ham and bacon and avocado. Next time I will go to subway and just get mine with a nice fresh baked roll or choice and extra ham and turkey theirs is much better. I would not recommend going here. Ok, so here it is. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this location, and they have seen their last cent from me! When they first opened this location, I fell in love. The sandwiches are amazing, they deliver in a hurry, and the sandwiches were affordable. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case! Prices have gone up significantly since opening, and my order now runs $17 instead of $10. I wouldn't mind the price increase if the quality didn't fall so far. The last 4 times I've ordered for delivery, my order has been wrong! I tried ordering at their location and eating in, in hopes of a better order. I watched an employee use a broom to knock stuff off a high shelf, over the food prep area, instead of getting a ladder. How this establishment can stay in business with such low quality, and health standards is a mystery. Never again will I eat here. read more

HORRIBLE! OVERPRICED! How does anyone screw up a sandwich? Jimmy Johns does. While I'll say everyone is nice....that's the only positive. It's $8 for a basic sandwich. Menu is not huge. Asked for American cheese instead of provolone, was told they only have provolone. Wow, never been to a sandwich shop with one choice of cheese. They put very little meat on. Then there is the "bread". I don't think I'd call it bread or a roll...it looks like a roll but it is super thin. There is no fluffy, lightness to it. It's almost like a wrap. Because of this, the whole sandwich looks like it was run over. The friendly cashier was very pushy peddling all the JJ extras. Did I want a pickle ? No....but then he kept asking. Did I want chips? No...but then he described all the chips. Did I want a cookie?NO, DAMMIT...and guess what? Descriptions of all the cookies. He asked twice if it was for here or to go, they were very fast and sandwich was on counter while he was still asking. I would NEVER try this again. Even Subway (which isn't great) is waaaay better and has better selection, AND they have normal bread. read more

I have eaten here 1x and have had them deliver more than 10x in the past 6 months. The first few times were great, from service to food quality, taste and delivery time. The last 4x have been a different story, not once have they made the sandwich correct, wrong ingredients, poor quality and for the life of me when someone asks to have it cut in half then please do that simple command. Yesterday it took nearly 40 minutes to have my food delivered, I was told they were busy, well then please keep my food in a cool place while it's out for delivery all over Upland, not directly in the sun. I am not the kind to call and bitch, I'll continue to order but I do repeat myself in hopes they will get it right, hasn't happened yet. So if you are reading this(owner), pay attention, you made a huge investment that can go south quick if you decide to loosen up the reigns and allow your employees to cut corners, use lesser quality and just make an all around less sandwich than what we are use to then you won't last long.
