A sad #4 TURKEY TOM - I ADDED toppings but didn't get what I ordered

Made the mistake of coming here tonight. Rudy helped us. He was very nice helping us order. We arrived with a few other customers and Rudy was the only one working so we had to wait a while, which we didn't have a problem doing. Unfortunately I did not check our sandwiches before he gave them to us. We paid for a giant bacon ranch, Rudy gave us a regular size. I ADDED toppings to the turkey tom and the only toppings he put were pickles and onions... no tomato lettuce or ANYTHING. If the owner wants to check our order was 107 tonight. I tried calling but their store doesn't answer the phone. I will be contesting.

Stopped in to Jimmy Johns after getting off the freeway for a leg stretch and coffee run. There was only one person working that afternoon, but he was very friendly. We sat at a table, which there are plenty of. Nice and clean. Even the single bathroom was clean. Funny bathroom signs too, lol. My parents split a chicken bacon ranch and I split a tuna sandwich with my daughter. It was all very fresh and delicious. Definitely one of the best sandwich places to eat at.

This Jimmy John's location is a little sleeper as compared to some of their other locations. Or, maybe it was just the end of the day and shift. LOL Whenever I'm up in the Upland/ Rancho area, I try to pickup a sub for later or the next day. Today, I got to chat with the three member crew working. The service was friendly and pretty chill.

This place is always spotless, organized, and bright! I hadn't been to a Jimmy John's in years, so seeing toasted subs on the menu was a nice surprise. I came in a little skeptical--big chains sometimes trade quality for variety--but honestly? These sandwiches can hold their own against legit mom-and-pop shops. The bread is fresh and soft with that perfect crispy outside, the ingredients taste top-tier, and the prices are great, especially if you're sharing. But what really stood out today was Jesse. This man was running the entire store by himself and absolutely crushing it. Making sandwiches, cleaning, staying on top of every detail--he didn't miss a beat. And on top of all that hustle, he was super courteous, friendly, and observant. You could tell he genuinely cared about giving great customer service. Shoutout to Jesse for making the whole experience even better!

One person working during the lunch rush is insane!!! This poor guy, I will say who was positive and great. But making people wait that long for their sandwiches.When they're on their lunch break, is insane. Plus, the quickest way to lose business. I knew it was a franchise the moment I saw one person working. The quickest way to lose business and money, not grow it. Because I won't be back and I'm sure half the people in there waiting wouldn't either.

First off, there is only one employee working, very nice guy but he really talks too much while people are waiting to place an order. So we wait and wait for him to finish with 1 customers, finally we're up, place our order, then he decides to take another order before starting ours, talks and talks to her for awhile. Starts making our 2 large sandwiches,no chips or drinks (33.00!). I'm thinking ok these are going to be really good! Nope, get home, the tuna was very watery and extra fishy smelling(gross)and the turkey was good, but only one slice of meat! I'm not kidding, one slice of turkey. We will never be returning to this location.

My friend paid 13 bucks for this sandwich and a pickle...and I just couldn't get over how small it was to the point that I had to take a picture. So little meat in the sandwhich- it's like Chipotles meat giving game but even worse than that. You cannot charge people that much for a sandwich and then put that little substance in the bread. 12.98 for bread dude?? Like you know it's bad when I wasn't even the one ripped off but I still had to say something for the people

2nd visit after trying JJ for the 1st time last week. First visit was so good i had to come back and make sure it was for real. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the Italian sandwich recommended was great. Fast forward to my 2nd visit and it was better than the first. Store was clean and Michael was exceptional friendly and super helpful. I tried the Italian again and this time he suggested toasted. Man toasted took it to another level and it was the best sandwich I've tasted in a long time. I'm hooked and will be back. Keep up the great work!!! Kudos to Michael!

Came in here for a late lunch and James's greet me right away. I haven't been here in a while so I didn't know what the menu look like. It was patient with me. Explain to me what comes with what I asked for an Italian nightclub no salami. He was happy to make that even after he started making it, I didn't want oil vinegar. He said no problem. Came and put my curbside order in. Took them just about 30 minutes to get my order was parked right in front! Watched the 2 employees talk. Take time to have a drink. A period of no customers. Called and the young man confirmed they had the order it was coming out shortly. 20 minutes later.... Finally comes out. Literally the worst service here! Go to another location this place is not worth

Came into the Jimmy John's in Upland and found out there was only one employee working because everyone else had called out. Despite being on his own, Jesse was incredibly sweet, kind, and welcoming! He stayed friendly and talkative the whole time, and still managed to make my food perfectly. Big shoutout to Jesse for holding it down and giving great service -- he deserves some serious appreciation!

I recently enjoyed the new Frenchie sandwich at this Jimmy Johns. The sandwich was very good. I asked the person making my sandwich that I would like a pickles and cucumbers on the side. She informed me that she would have to ask her manager who told her no. I heard him tell her no and told him that I would pay extra. He then told me that he would do it this one time, but it isn't allowed with my sandwich. SMH! I told him that I would pay the extra charge and the manager then replied that, that would not work because there is no charge button. These items are considered "freebies" on the menu, so why you would deny a paying customer of their request? In the end my sandwich was really good and I got my side items at no charge I just think that if I requested something in the future I should not be told no if it's clearly doable and "FREEBIE" AS INDICATED on the menu. Especially if I'm even willing to pay extra. read more

Friendly service, but for $9, I expected a bit more turkey on my sandwich. Also, the place was dirty. The tables were not wiped clean, and the restroom (co-ed) was dirty. No one was in the place except for two employees basically doing nothing. You would think they could at least clean the tables. read more

Christy was super helpful, kind, and professional. My husband and I own Tony's Carpets in Montclair. We hosted a networking event for many of our business partners. I called the morning of the event to order 45 sandwiches. The catering department was super friendly, and happy to help us with such short notice. He walked me through the choices, was patient over the phone and happy to help. The sandwiches were perfect and a huge hit with everyone. The delivery person was also happy and polite and on time. You made putting together a stressful event a much easier task. We will be using your services again in the future and sharing with our friends/business relations so they too can enjoy your services. Thank you for everything! read more

Delicious, fresh tasting sandwiches! Awesome customer service as well. I had the beach club and added salami, wow! It was packed with meat and toppings and I can not explain how fresh this tasted! The meat was thin cut and plentiful and I am super torn on their french bread because it may be the best treating sandwich bread I've tried! My brother got the one with bacon and ham, equally delicious! And they have a wonderful patio, great music and coke products which I loooooove! Definitely going to be back soon! read more

Incredibly friendly staff, super fast service. Excellent food! I highly recommend the roast beef with the jalapeno chips on the side. And although this seems like a small thing, for me it's huge - they have the BEST ice. I sometimes refill my cup with just ice and use it as an after lunch snack. Definitely a regular place for me to lunch. read more

This place is great!! A better than average sandwich place that delivers. Glad I found these guys. First thing I noticed was how delicious the bread is. So good. Fast, fast delivery too. I work down the street and we all order from here all the time. U might spend a buck or two more for a meal but it blows other places out the water. Theres really no competition in my mind when im ready for a good sandwich read more

Never been in to the store, we always have it delivered. The kids love the sandwiches. The order is never messed up and it comes fast. Can't complain about the food, you would have to try REALLY hard to mess a sandwich up. A little pricey, but if it saves me from having to cook once in a while I'm all for it. read more

I just had the Italian Night Club delivered within 15 minutes of me placing the order. The sandwich was not as large as I thought it would be (smaller than a 12" sub from Subway), but it was very tasty. I ordered avocado but that was a waste of money since it's just a thin paste. There was a good amount of meat and the bread tasted very fresh. They only charged me $.37 for delivery which is a steal compared to most places. I would definitely order for them again. read more

My family decided to give this place a try for dinner. Met with intelligent young men who were pleasant and full of information for newbies like us. The employees asked what we might like to have after they let us know how this placed worked. Very enjoyable experience. We are new fans for sure. Husband ordered a BLT on wheat sandwich bread and my son had a slim turkey. I had to have the Italian! Combo the whole thing and a Cookie for $26. Upscale sandwiches, excellent service and very kind employees. read more

The service here was excellent everybody seem very friendly and had lots of great suggestion. I ordered the #9 it was a great sandwich much like I've experience at other Jimmy John locations. The restaurant was clean and well organized, with a fair amount of inside seating. They also have a small patio area. I highly recommend the jalapeno potato chips their fantastic. read more

I was very excited to sink my teeth into all of those meats but then the double heap of mayo which violated even the most innocent parts of my throat and squirted from my mouth was the instant I realized I had made the wrong choice. And now for the cheese selection or should I say...the LACK of cheese selection. Provalone...more like provalame. Lastly the pickles were speared and she wouldn't even put them on my sandwich. In conclusion Jimmy John's is a tasteless abortion of a sandwich shop. read more

The blue and white bunting, the beer steins, the picture of the Pope and other memorabilia make the place feel distinctly Bavarian, in a touristy way. A lot of places in Germany, even in the more traditional south have moved on. But my hope is that this place does continue until the proprietors retire with dignity or sell the business to some German-Americans with a passion for prepping and selling this type of food.
