The service was great, our server was great too! We asked about real maple syrup and she actually tracked down a bottle, I couldn't believe it! ( Pictured) The Local Favorite was excellent! The crab cake was perfectly seasoned, the English muffin was toasted perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was also perfect. The cheesy grits were good as well! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. My guest also loved her meal, ( Salmon Benedict) the salmon was perfectly done without being dry, the eggs were a little beyond poached but that's okay. The home fried potatoes were golden brown and an excellent addition to the meal. The ambiance is super chill which is surprising considering how good the food is. The chicken and waffles were exceptional as well. The four chicken strips with tender, juicy and well seasoned placed on top of the golden brown waffle which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The butter and maple syrup was butter made this waffle an 8/10.

The completely forgot about the first 2. Long line so figured it's probably good and looking at reviews thought it would be worth the wait. 45 minutes wait in line. They were completely overwhelmed and lady who took my order (BTW, I'm a very heterosexual man, but there are a lot of kids around and if you're going to lean forward to take orders, how about wearing a shirt that doesn't let me see down to your belly button and all the things you stuff in your bra, such as lighters, etc.) got very snappy with everyone. As you can see from video I posted where I asked people how long they had been waiting, it was over 2 HOURS for most. At that point, all of us should have had our food refunded or at least some type of discount, but nope. Never offered. After an hour, when I went and asked the woman who took my order how long it would take, she said "in a while. I don't know. We're busy". Guess what. That's your JOB to know. They never gave anyone a receipt, just asked us to give them our names, and when we would ask how long it would be, they asked for our name and then asked what we ordered. Seriously? IT SHOULD BE ON THE TICKET WITH THE NAME I JUST GAVE YOU!!! FYI, I gave them the name "YO" to make it easy to remember but apparently, it was too difficult. There were over 30 people waiting and the crowd was getting angry!!! Finally, another woman showed up that got things moving. Whoever you are in the red shirt, thank you! I think we'd still be waiting if it wasn't for you. You should have been there an hour before then. Now the food. Remember the easy to eat part? Obviously it's a food truck, so no crab pliers given. The other food truck actually cracked them before serving them so people could just peel them open. Nothing done here so it was impossible to eat (big crab legs were easier but still not ideal). Had to take them home to eat which defeats the purpose of a food truck. The blue crabs had almost no meat in them. Complete waste of money. The crab legs were actually big and at least tasted good which is why it's 2 stars and not one. Based on the service alone and lack of care to try to make things right with customers, I'm leery to even go to their physical location. Too much competition around to not take care of customers the way they should. Very disappointing and had such high hopes.

It's a very thin, barely anything there pie. So the value already isn't that great for what you are paying. The sauce was very salty. The ratio of sauce to cheese to crust was just way off. I took several bites but then didn't want to eat anymore. I actually ordered another pizza from a different place just to get the taste out of my mouth. I don't like leaving negative reviews because it seems like they haven't been open that long and I want new food businesses to succeed. Especially pizza places. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal. We loved the complimentary warm bread served with seasoned olive oil--it was a huge hit with the kids before our food even arrived. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with two delicious dipping sauces. It disappeared quickly! For our entrées, the coconut shrimp was outstanding. The shrimp were large, coated in a crunchy toasted coconut breading, and paired perfectly with the orange blossom honey marmalade. The creamy garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and roasted tomatoes rounded out a delicious plate. We also ordered the crab cakes, which were packed with lump crab meat, perfectly seared, and complemented by the Creole mustard aioli. Our kids were just as impressed! The kids' fish and chips meal came with a surprisingly generous portion of flaky fish, crispy fries, and fresh fruit, making it an excellent value.
