Burgers are one of my favorite things to review, so I was genuinely looking forward to this stop. We arrived shortly after opening and ordering was quick and easy. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and had a relaxed casual atmosphere. I also appreciated seeing reasonable pricing across the menu, especially for combo meals. I decided on the Oklahoma Onion Smash Burger with fries ordered well done. My wife ordered the Angus Burger special, and after a short wait our food arrived at the table. Unfortunately, this visit just didn't quite live up to the anticipation. The fries came out only slightly warm and definitely not "well done" as requested. As for the burger itself, the presentation was a little underwhelming right from the start. The sandwich leaned very heavy on the mayo, enough that I actually took the bun apart to remove some before taking my first bite. After adding mustard, the burger improved a bit, but overall it still landed in the "average" category for me. The Oklahoma onion flavor profile I was expecting never really stood out, and the burger simply didn't have that memorable quality that makes you immediately want to come back for another round. My wife shared a similar opinion about her burger as well. We also tried the onion rings. Flavor-wise they were decent, but the portion size compared to the $6.99 price felt a bit hard to justify. For that price point, I expected either a larger serving or something more memorable. That said, I always try to keep perspective when reviewing local restaurants. Running a small business is not easy, and I genuinely want local places to succeed and improve. While this wasn't one of my stronger burger experiences in the OKC area, I still appreciate the effort, friendly service, and opportunity to give them a try. Maybe it was simply an off day, and I'd certainly be open to stopping back in down the road to see how things evolve. For now, this one lands more in the "decent neighborhood burger stop" category rather than a destination burger spot for me. -- Terry | @cheft_2469 | Always searching for the best bite in Oklahoma

We decided to pick up a couple of vegetable plates for a light lunch, knowing what we were going to have later in the day. It made for a nice place to unwind. Even though we got the same dish(vegetable plate) ot was like night and day. Original my drink was gonna be a strawberry margarita, but they did not have the stuff for it, so I ended up with water and a strawberry mimosa( which was just as yummy). My husband got sweet tea for his beverage. My vegetable plate was fresh fruit(pineapple, strawberry and blueberry), hashbrown casserole with ketchup, coleslaw and fried apples. My husband's plate was baby carrots, fried apples, Mac n cheese and fresh fruit. There were biscuits and cornbread on the side. While hubby finished up his lunch and waited for the check, I excused myself and went to freshen up and went back to the table and we went and did some shopping, and then headed off to pick up a few things before heading to meet up with friends at 6. Our waitress was very nice, but not trained in how to check id's for alcoholic beverages, she had to go get someone that had their "license" to complete that portion of the order. So we got that taken care of.

I ordered a Presidente Margarita,…read moreand it was filled with so much ice--in the shaker and the glass--that it barely amounted to a single drink. I have ordered this drink several times before and have never experienced this. For the price, that's unacceptable. I politely brought this to the attention of the server/bartender, who said she spoke with her manager. Instead of coming out to address the issue herself, the manager chose to relay a message through the server, which is extremely unprofessional. We specifically asked to speak with the manager because the situation was not handled appropriately. When the manager, Lexi, finally came out, she offered a flimsy excuse and took no accountability. When I explained that it was still ridiculous to pay full price for such a small amount of alcohol, she literally walked away while we were still talking. No attempt was made to fix the issue, offer a replacement, comp a drink, or even apologize. Walking away from customers mid-conversation is unacceptable behavior for any manager. This experience showed a complete lack of customer service and leadership. I won't be returning, and I hope corporate takes a serious look at how this location is being managed.

April, the manager, made her presence known as she too came around making sure everyone was well taken care of. (rather than sitting in the back office like a lot of managers will do). The kitchen staff brought our food out and everyone had a smile on their faces! Our food came out hot, fresh and delicious! The presentation of the plates as you'll see in my pictures with comments, well, the kitchen staff nailed it! The facility was very clean, temperature of the house was just right and very inviting, with just the right amount of lighting and no extreme loud tv or music. Overall I highly recommend visiting this, Chilis with friends and family and making it one of your regular spots to dine! Thank you to all the staff for bringing back what it should feel like when going out to enjoy a night out after a hard days work!
