Usually, WF is pretty good comfort food. Today, everything seemed like it was cooked too fast and not all the way through. The waffles looked/tasted doughy. the hashbrowns were supposed to be smothered & covered, but they were undercooked to the point of the cheese not being melted, along with the onions being limp. They weren't busy, but definitely need to clean up better!

Late breakfast on a weekday, this Waffle House had a few other customers so I was sitting at the bar area. Decently friendly service by a crew that was all taking care of each other's customers. One waitress brought my coffee, another took my order, the cook refilled my coffee and a fourth took my money at the register. Juke box playing R&B rather loudly. Super speedy because of that. It was less than 7 minutes from the time I stepped in the door to the time my breakfast landed in front of me. I chose the "All Star" and I only realized after I'd departed that they forgot my slice of ham. Oh, well. I'm still stuffed and other than the one bump, it was a decent meal. I have a love-hate relationship with this Waffle House. While I adore the food, the overall experience doesn't always meet my expectations. As the quality declined, I shifted to ordering to-go. Sadly, this location now tacks on an extra 20% for to-go orders, which makes it less practical for my family of six. The combined 20% fee along with the 9% tax significantly inflates the bill. What's more, they only provide itemized receipts if you specifically request one, causing unnecessary confusion and confrontation when questioning the charges. In essence, enduring long wait times, cramped seating at the bar, potential sprays from the dishwasher, and dealing with passive-aggressive management might be worth it for the amazing hash brown bowls priced just under $10, but if you seek a more refined atmosphere, it's best to look elsewhere. Pro Tip: - Experience Waffle House at least once - Bring your own sanitizer or wipes if you have small children - Tip your waiter/waitress - I don't think they have almond/oat milk options Tip for management: - Offer itemized receipts with ever transaction. Rambling off numbers like an auctioneer isn't practical for the average person who just wants to eat breakfast and pay what they owe.

I'm sorry that most cities don't have a Waffle House-Always used to think it was not "up to standards" until a good friend said-your are going with us, you love it. Sit at the bar and watch the speed of these people move fast-talk about team work and earn their money. The food is very inexpensive and so it does not attract the high end guests-but you are missing out. Did you know that kitchen is open so you can see them cook, how it's prepared and the quality. Who knew all eggs are cracked to order-Even high end hotels use egg in the bag if you don't order single eggs. Nothing is pre made but the bread. coffee is ground and orange juice is minute made. Most restaurants will skimp on these items to make more of a profit that you don't see or realize. My treat when going is the double hasbrowns with the onions, mushrooms, cheese, ham and gravy. Cost under $5

Orders was all wrong, bacon was chewy and fatty, has browns were extra greasy and they didn't offer us refills on our drinks.

As a tourist, I could definitely see how the neighborhood is definitely something that might draw people from visiting, but good food is often found in unknown places. Pros: the gal who took our orders was super sweet and the cook that came out to deliver our food was also very pleasant. Overall, flavors and quality seemed to be good for the price. Cons: gal was very obviously stressed due to how she greeted us with a "I'm getting rid of most of the menu in order to simplify" and then literally told us that everything we came for was basically gone (cook/baker left). No chili, no fries, no desserts and she was out of one of the burgers. Also, the inside of this restaurant is obviously still questioning its identity because it was giving farm glam but things made no sense for its namesake (mirrors? Why so many TVs and little blackboards? Bougie paintings? House music? Farm animal home decor?) also...the women's bathroom was hella scary and had awful lighting yet the men's bathroom was well lit. Food: flavor was there, but some things just weren't - Parmesan fries just had like garlic salt on them? Both our taco meat was lukewarm and no cheese would melt. My fries supposedly had nacho cheese but came out with real cheese, which hey, better for me. Drinks were also blah - canned. It's just a preference but it's very limiting. I hope the menu isn't revamped to the point where their ratings keep declining, but to us, it was disappointing seeing such enticing photos and reviews to get lukewarm food and a very limited selection of foods.

There weren't a lot of people there but a few call in orders were placed while we dined. They had great music playing but not too loud and there's a large and smaller tv for watching the game while we eating. I got the burger which was very good and she got the fried catfish. It was delicious as well, though pieces were pretty small. We both had fries which I was more than pleased with. The tartar sauce was made in house also tasted good. The two of us ate for $24. Ain't nothin wrong with that! We'll certainly be back.

It is the only place on Earth where you can order a plate of food that looks like it was prepared by a grandmother who loves you, but also by a short-order cook who is currently training for a marathon in the back alley. The menu is a masterpiece of chaotic ambition. It is a laminated manifesto that offers everything from breakfast sammies to the best greasy burger made of dreams, and somehow, against all odds, it all works. I have made it my personal mission to order something different every single time I visit, and I am convinced the kitchen staff are actually wizards. Whether it's a stack of pancakes the size of a hubcap or a patty melt that defies the structural integrity of bread, every single dish "hits the spot." It's the culinary equivalent of a warm blanket on a rainy day--it's not trying to win a Michelin star; it's trying to win your soul, and it's winning by a landslide. And then, we must discuss the coffee. Oh, the diner coffee. It is the lifeblood of the nation. It is served in a mug that is heavy enough to be used as a blunt instrument, and it is poured by a server who appears with a glass pot like a caffeinated guardian angel the moment your cup dips below the halfway mark. It's not artisanal, single-origin, pour-over nonsense. It is hot, it is black, it is strong enough to jump-start a dead battery, and it is absolutely perfect. In a world of overpriced "fusion" concepts and tiny portions served on slate tiles, the American diner remains the ultimate equalizer. It is a place where you can be yourself, eat breakfast at 8:00 PM, and drink enough coffee to vibrate through walls. 200000/10 recommend.

This is the burger they sent me on my most recent delivery that's supposed to be a 1/3 pound patty. Not a 1/3 of a patty.
