My husband and I LOVE Jim's. Weekend mornings are busy but the food is always made to order and great! And if it's not, they're always happy to fix it for you. Coffee is always hot, which is most important to me! It's a little messy but it's a busy place. We will forever love it here Be sure to try the biscuits with sausage gravy. THE BEST THING ON THE MENU!

Customer service. Manager refused to give her name, she goes by Netty per another staff member. She was obnoxious to say the least. Loud, dramatic, and belligerent. It's no surprise she's comfortable acting that way, the manager "James" was her role model.

Chopped steak dinner with sautéed mushrooms added.

It's a Wednesday evening and there's a wait. There are 4 parties ahead of us and we're told it'll be a 15-20 min wait. That was pretty accurate but it's awful when there are so many empty tables. Evidence that they are understaffed. Their pie case at the front register area is covered with Christmas decor so no pies are visible. Speaking of pies, the servers have t-shirts on that advertise their $9.99 holiday pies. When I ask if they have pumpkin, she says no, that they just have Lemon Meringue. Phooey. For a brand known for pies, that's a huge let down. Our server tells us the refrigerated pie display up front has been broken for months and their request to have it fixed is being ignored. The best way to not sell something is to not show it off. My husband and I like to have breakfast for dinner when we're at Jim's, so eh gets steak and eggs. I get the chopped steak dinner. My favorite meal is chopped steak patty with sautéed onions and mushrooms and they never get this wrong! Our meals are really good. Our server is sufficient. She takes our drink order first, then our food order and comes back to deliver our food. I don't think she checked on us once, though. No matter, as I had no problem calling her over when I needed her. The check out process was a sh%* show. There were people waiting to be seated, a man in line to pick up a to-go order and others trying to get on the waiting list. The girl behind the counter just kinda twiddles her thumbs standing around or looking lost. Another worker is on the phone. The manager just looks annoyed and when he asks me for my check, I let him know that I never received one and just want to pay and leave. He asks me 3x where we were seated so he can pull up my table's check and I point to the same dang table. He's also very distracted so it's no wonder he's getting frustrated. He's banging away at the touch screen in front of him and finally, after standing in line and on front of him for about 8 minutes, I am able to pay. Sheesh. Very disorganized. We probably won't be coming back anytime soon or even thinking of stopping for a pie here. There are too many other options out there that work much harder for my business.

Eggs Benedict with hash browns and a side of fruit. As well as a Texas omelette with hash browns!

This is our go to spot for the eggs Benedict plate! Food is so delicious! So much flavor! Service is always impeccable and environment is clean.

I couldn't readily tell what size a pint was because the menu doesn't specify lbs or ounces, but it was a fair amount for me. I asked for the house sauce and mayo on the side since I didn't know what house sauce was either lol. Think of McD Big Mac sauce but more of a mustardy, remoulade kinda flavor. The burger taste good but I've had better. At the steep price point, I expected more. We chose seasoned fries, which were indeed seasoning but not evenly. They were however, delightfully crispy! The onion rings were good but they taste familiar, like frozen wholesale onion rings. Not bad but not homemade tasting. Not many beverage choices - at least not thru DoorDash. You can get a vanilla, chocolate or strawberry milkshake or bottled Pepsi, Diet Pepsi or starry. I didn't really want any of those but alas, I chose vanilla milkshake. It was okay. Idk if I'd order from here again, but I am glad we tried something new.

Our party of five was seated right away but I did notice that around 9 Am the restaurant started to fill up. The menu is very extensive offering so many choices for breakfast but I chose the classic eggs benedict. My eggs were perfectly cooked, and the hollandaise sauce was perfect as well. What I liked about my meal was that the English muffin was not overly toasted so it was easy to cut through. The hashbrowns were delicious, a perfect combination of soft and crispy on the outside, and the fruit was perfect, ripe and very fresh. I think the prices are a great deal, the same meal at another restaurant even with smaller portions can cost me as much as five dollars more per plate. Our server was attentive, even when the restaurant started filling up. We always had coffee in our cups, and he ensured that we were satisfied all the way through our meal. They have three different kinds, and the server was knowledgeable enough to explain to us what the different kinds were, size, graininess, and other intangibles that would help us make our decision, and I'm glad he did because we got the Gulf oysters and they were awesome My wife had a Lobster and shrimp roll, which was one of the most delicious things I think I've ever tasted in a seafood restaurant, I went standard with fish and chips, and they were quite amazing, battered properly, lightly fried, golden brown, hot and juicy on the inside, with very little grease residue, five out of five would definitely eat those Again. It came with lemon aioli and sweet Thai dipping sauces. It was so good! My husband tried the beer battered cod tacos with sweet potato fries from the chalkboard and I got the crab cake with arugula salad off the appetizer menu. It was all delicious. Only tweaking to recommend is cooking the sweet potato fries a little longer and having a little more flavor in the dressing for the arugula. But it was all so good! They had an outdoor seating area, as well. Not sure why some businesses don't open up the umbrellas when they're open for business. I typically don't get upset about most things in life, but the service here was so bad that we rushed to finish our meal and get out of the restaurant. I will name a few things that brought me to two stars.. There were multiple service inconsistencies including our delayed order, the gentleman that brought our water spilled it all over and under our table and when we expressed a safety concern for falls (I recently got hip surgery), the server, Ms. Gabren just dismissed it. Additionally, our lemonades came after our meals and one of them was wrong but I didn't say anything because at this point I was tired. I had to kindly raise my hand for a refill and when I was ready to check out and asked for a correction on my bill -- after waiting for 20 mins for her to come to us (we had to raise our hands again), the server rudely told us "you can do it yourself." I told her "yes I understand ma'am but I need help" and she clicked on pad as it was annoying to assist. I proceeded to leave because the energy was so bad and my aunt stayed to fill the survey. What happens next shocked us... the server quickly returned and tried to convince my aunt not to fill out any concerns and instead talk to her. My aunt told her to kindly leave her alone and the server's body language got aggressive. We were so uncomfortable that we didn't even ask to speak to anyone until we actually left the restaurant.. we spoke to the manager on site on 4/26/26 via phone and he kindly refunded our order. Despite all of this, the food was really good. I ordered the salmon with the mushrooms and broccoli but I will NOT be returning.

FIRST TIME VISIT!…read more Woohoo! Been looking for chili cheese fries and happened upon a review for this place boasting fries with a homemade chili so we HAD TO stop in tonight. THE LOCATION: on the very end of a string of businesses in a strip mall that I've never been in before, so that was cool. Lots of parking, that'll never be an issue. And right off the 410. THE MENU: Burgers, dogs, Mexi-style munchies and a variety of frozen dessert-type items like shakes, frozen fruit concoctions and Italian ice. THE STAFF: I wasn't overwhelmed with a warm welcome and smiles, at least from the guys. Lol! They should really work on that. There was a sweet gal who ran out our food orders and she was great. THE FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with tots and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken was juicy and cooked well and the bun was lovely, slightly sweet and toasted. Overall, the sandwich could've used more flavor, like a creamy bbq spread and cheddar instead of the "Swiss" cheese that tasted more like American cheese. But overall, 7/10. The tots were extra crispy and the guy who took my order didn't take heed to my request for ranch. I was too lazy to get up again so I settled for ketchup. The sweet tea was nicely sweet and fresh, I'll be sipping this in my dreams. The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and an Oreo cookie shake. The burger looked good and he ate it quick, so there's that. This guy can EAT so it surprised us both when he slowed down fast after eating that burger. Lol! He kept saying how filling it was, but then he also killed a large shake before the food arrived, so there's that. He ate most of his chili cheese fries, leaving me a few bites to sample. Not bad. I order a Coco Haven frozen dessert to go and omg is this thing delightful! Vanilla ice cream and coconut Italian ice (?) with a blue snow cone-like syrup drizzled throughout. I loved the texture of what I believed to be Italian ice. Smooth and flaky, a perfect icy dessert. OVERALL: decent eatery, the hubby said we can go back (LOL!) Shockerrrrr! But I recommend the staff tries harder to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable. The next visit will be telling.
