This resto has been on the list of "must try's" for awhile. Since we had to do some shopping at the SF market anyway, we figured why not? Trudged up the stairs to the second level. There is a door to the restaurant in the rear second level parking area but it directs patrons to the front entrance. We went around 12:30 and figured it would be really crowded as Chinatown restaurants always seem busier on weekends. But there was plenty of seating and no wait list. By the way, there is a prominent sign on the door that says in very large letters, no dogs except service dogs, (more about that later). A pitcher of ice cold water placed at the table along with a sealed paper package containing chopsticks and a disposable fork and spoon. We ordered the jajejangmyeong (noodles in black bean sauce) and yakimandeu (fried dumplings similar to potstickers) and chicken fried rice. The bonchon dropped off was pretty sparse, a small plate of yellow daikon and small pieces of white onion. The food came out quickly, the yakimandeu were deep fried , tasted good, ten pieces . I prefer mine steamed and then lightly fried but these were good. The noodle dish was pretty good. Large serving, tasty, good amount of black bean sauce. The fried rice was just ok... nothing special. Half way through our meal a threesome of older folks came in with a pink baby carriage . My first thought was grandparents taking kid out while mom and dad shop downstairs. But it was either the ugliest baby I ever saw or a gosh dang French poodle not being happy in the carriage. The staff noted the dog, but did nothing to remind the patrons about their policy. Too chicken and didn't want a confrontation or didn't want to lose a three diner meal? Finished our meal and paid, no military discount. That lost them a star, and perhaps their policy of animals not enforced contributed to it. read more

I've been eyeing this place for months now after seeing a bunch of IG reels. I finally went today with my mom and uncle. We went for lunch and they had quite a few tables of people already. We ordered the crispy pork with sweet and sour sauce (on the side), creamy shrimp tempura and a seafood noodle soup. My mom and uncle were complaining about the pricing and how expensive it was. I told them that it's family style so the portions will be big. My mom wondered why there's no lunch specials... and she made an observation that people eating solo wouldn't come here because the portions are so big. I agreed and said that if they served bento boxes or something they'll be able to grab the solo eating crowd too. Probably be able to grab the working lunch crowd. My mom was also disappointed that the only banchan served was pickled radish and onions. The pork came out first and it was piping hot and so crispy. The sauce was indeed sweet and sour. I loved the crisp on the pork but not the cut of meat they used. I think they used tenderloin so there's hardly any fat - a lot of the pieces dried out from getting fried and it was hard to chew. Even drowning it in the sauce wasn't able to soften up the meat. I think if they used another cut of meat, it wouldn't get so dried out and tough. The shrimp dish came out next and oh boy it was sooo tasty! Again super crispy, the creamy lemon sauce was somehow light and creamy and zesty. We were even eating the lettuce under the shrimp, it was that good! And lastly was the seafood noodle soup. The noodles were chewy, the broth was light and refreshing and there was a good amount of seafood. I think everything came out to be less than $80 not including gratuity and we had leftovers. I told my uncle it was a great lunch and he can have another meal later with the leftovers. And I told my mom, look, all the other tables are Koreans - so you know this is a legit place for Korean food! I will definitely be back for more of that shrimp and seafood soup. Also I saw 2 other tables ordering the steam buns with some meat in the middle so I wouldn't mind trying that... also I wanna try their jajang mein. read more

I love coming to Jin Jin. They have the best Jajang myun in Las Vegas in my opinion. Their jambong is pretty good as well. There aren't too many Korean-Chinese restaurants but Jin Jin definitely does a good job. They also currently have dine-in specials currently as well and you can get a Jajang Myun for $7.99 and a Jambong for $11.99. That's an absolute steal for the quality. Definitely try it out. Worst experience ever. I called at 8:50 PM to ask about dine-in and takeout. I told them I was on the way. They said okay. No one mentioned that the kitchen was about to close. I drove for 20 minutes and arrived around 9:10 or 9:15 PM, only to be told the kitchen was closed. Why does it say you are open until 10 PM on Yelp if the kitchen shuts down earlier? That is misleading and completely unprofessional. If someone calls and says they are coming, the least you can do is give a heads-up. Wasted my time and ruined my night. I went here with my friend with a lot of expectations because many people said the food is so good here. I wonder because of that it fell short of expectations. I got here around 2PM, and the service was fast. We ordered two different jjapmpong and sweet sour pork. For the sweet sour pork, it was actually so good. The sauce wasn't blended or too salty. But it had only one size, which was a lot and kind of pricey for two people. The Jjampong was okay. The soup tasted good, but the noodles were kind of thin, and there were only two little shrimp in the Seafood Jjampong. At that time, except one server, another server was having lunch, I think. Because of that, I tried not to disrupt that server when the server was doing something. So when I felt the server was okay, I asked for the check and the Togo box. I wanted to pay with Apple Pay and wanted to split check with my friend because we had different Jjampong. We asked for the split, and I believed she would make it split into sweet sour pork, and each jjampong. But in that case, I asked about it again. She told me, "you guys want to pay each jjampong, not split in the total?, but I already did." Like that by showing us the bill that she printed. I mean, because I haven't paid yet, it is possible to split again. Or if her tone wasn't like that, I would just pay and just say it is okay to just follow what she printed without feeling bad. But her tone was too offensive. And actually, the customers checking what I could receive normally in other restaurants were not there either. First time trying this place and the whole family loved it. The jiajiamyeon was probably the best that we have tried in town! They have a special right now for $4.99 during dine in. Jin Jin is a fairly new restaurant that just recently opened up in the same plaza as the SF Supermarket. It is located on the 2nd floor and is right next to a massage establishment. They specialize in Korean/Chinese food. It's essentially Korean food as we know it. When you have Chinese food in Korea, they typically serve the same items -- at least the very common Chinese places. They popped up on my "Hot and New Restaurant" search and when I mentioned it to my friend, she said that their food is good. She knew the owner and apparently the owner used to have another restaurant in a different location. I couldn't remember the name of the previous restaurant though. The owner is originally from the city that borders China and Korea. My friend mentioned that the food is closer to the Korean tastes vs a more Americanized version? My husband and I arrived between 5:30PM - 6:00PM and were seated right away. The restaurant was pretty spacious and had a good amount of tables. We decided to order: Jjajangmyeon - Black bean sauce noodles. This dish is based on a Chinese dish, zhajiangmian, and has many different variations depending on the region. I know for Cantonese restaurants, the sauce is typically red and is sweet. For the Korean version, it is a savory dish made with pork, onions, green onions, and zucchini. Jin Jin's version reminded me of the versions I've had in Korea -- light but flavorful. It didn't leave a heavy, greasy, and bloated feeling. However, they use a slightly thinner noodle that reminded me of spaghetti vs the thicker version that I am used to. Additionally, they use ground meat instead of pieces of pork/pork belly, which is also a bit different from all the other versions that I've had in Korea and in the States. Overall, it is still pretty delicious and we really enjoyed it. Tangsuyuk - Sweet and sour pork. Typically when people think of a sweet and sour dish, they automatically think it would be red but the Korean version is not. The Chinese version typically is because ketchup and red wine vinegar is used for the color. For the Korean version, the sauce is served on the side so you have the option to pour it on top or just dip it. I generally prefer to dip mine so I can keep the pork crispy throughout. Jin Jin's sweet and sour sauce is very good and is the exact same as what I've had in Korea. Their batter is a bit different and they tend to use more but it was also addicting. It had this chewy texture to it that was mochi like and I couldn't help but to keep eating. Yuringi - Fried chicken in hot and sour soy sauce. I've actually never had this dish before and it was recommended by my friend. The portion size is giant and it's covered in raw garlic and sliced up serrano peppers. Dark meat is used for their fried chicken so it was juicy and tender. The sauce itself is a bit sweet vs salty as you would expect for soy sauce. I think it was closer to the garlic soy you get at Korean Fried Chicken places where it's a sweet garlic soy sauce. Some of the peppers were really spicy while some weren't. It was super delicious when eating a piece of chicken with pieces of garlic and pepper. The service was good as well. They were very friendly, quick, and packed our left overs into to-go containers for us. Overall, definitely recommend people give them a try. The food is good and the service is quick. I was hearing so many good things about this business, I had to come by and try it! Because of it being new and being abit of a talk, it can be a little crowded during dinner time. So do expect to wait abit. But they were always giving us updates, for a party of 7 we only waited 15 minutes which we had no problem on waiting. The staff was super nice, they were able to answer any questions that we had about the menu. Now for the food, their portions are actually pretty shareable. The regular Jajangmyeon is actually pretty well indiviual portion but the cheese jajangmyeon that was quite abit and definitely had to ask for a box for left over. The cheese jajangmyeon was absolutely delicious, it's jajangmyeon with mozzerella cheese served in a hot stone plate. I never heard of putting cheese on jajangmyeon so I definitely had to try it. The soy garlic chicken is definitely sharable and worth the price, it does have abit of a spicy kick but still very tasty! The sweet and sour pork was good as well, its a light fry so it wasnt too crunchy. The sauce on the side so that we were able to throw in some of the fried pork to the jajangmyeon! We also ordered fried mandu, nothing crazy about it still super tasty to have for an appetizer! Overall the food was amazing and the service was pretty good. Jin Jin is my new favorite Korean-Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas. The food and service here is spectacular - especially given it just opened up 3 weeks ago! Ambiance and Service: casual open and relaxed. It's a large open space inside with many tables. It's bigger than I expected inside with tables spread apart. Good place to go with friends and family. We were warmly greeted by enthusiastic staff. They kept our cups full and walked around making sure we were enjoying our meal. I'm impressed by their teamly attentiveness. Food: let's cut to the chase - best jjajangmyun and Jjambong in Vegas. Jjajangmyun has a smooth glazed sweet black bean sauce that's balanced by ginger (at least that's what my taste buds picked up). I loved their el dente noodles and generous portions of veggies and meat in the dish. I slurped up all the noodles and enjoyed them with extra bites of jjajang sauce. The seafood Jjambong was also super delicious with a nice fat plump peeled shrimp! Think bold salty spicy notes of the sea in your broth mixed with a delicious base of noodles. We also had the tangsooyuk (fried pork with a sweet sauce). It was great - crispy fried pork dipped in a sweet tangy sauce - loved it. Portions were decent too. Parking was starting to fill up on a Saturday 12pm but it was relatively easy to find a spot. The restaurant was full when we arrived but we got a table right away. People seem to eat relatively fast here. Bathroom is clean so the kitchen must be clean. Overall this place is worth a try. Vegas has needed a Chinese Korean restaurant like this and this clearly fills that gap. 3 weeks after opening and this place is packed already. This review is about their Jajang mein and fried dumpling. It's probably the best priced and best tasting black bean noodles in town. The sauce was so well balanced and not salty or greasy. For under $11 dollars as of this review and $7 for 10 pieces of fried dumplings definitely a bargain. As soon as I sat down they gave me a carafe of ice cold water and after I ordered they gave me some spicy mushroom, pickled yellow radish and onions and black bean sauce to dip in. The food came out very fast less than 5 minutes after I ordered. The restaurant is on the second floor of the Asian pacific plaza. Parking is decent seems parking in front of the market in is your best bet, there's slot of restaurants in this plaza. I'd definitely go back for the jajang mein. read more

Sooooo Good! My family of 3 came on a Sunday night around 7pm. We ordered the black bean noodles ( the best of all places we tried ). Seafood noodle has a good amount of spice and the size portion is massive . Sweet and sour pork ( is our top tier fav , literally way better than China Mama . Lightly breaded , juicy in the inside yet crispy . Staff are accommodating, place is very neat and clean. And most of all very considerate knowing we have toddler with us. Located on the second floor of the plaza is a very authentic Korean spot. I found this place on Yelp and came in with a high expectation based on the reviews and they did not disappoint! The spicy seafood soup came with noodles and it was probably one of the best I've ever had. So much flavor and a lot of seafood inside. We ordered the spicy black bean noodles. It was good but the jalapeños were a bit overwhelming so I will probably order the non-spicy option. Overall, the service was excellent and the food tasted amazing. Finally tried this place out last weekend. We ordered the sweet and sour pork with sauce on the side, black bean noodles and spicy seafood noodle soup. Prices are cheaper than other places because the portions are smaller. Overall good flavors and the pork was crispy. The noodles were a little thin for my preference. The servers were polite. The one thing I did not like was that they took away my Starbucks drink because they did not allow outside drinks. But there were no signs at all stating that. They're the only restaurant I've eaten at in Vegas that is so strict about it. They covered up my drink and brought it back to me after I finish my meal though.
