It took me over 12 weeks to get title, during which time my temp tags expired and I could not register my car in NM. July 17, 2017. The Dallas Better Business Bureau recently notified me that they have approved my complaint against One World Cars, and that it is now on file for public view. June 17, 2017. I have two active complaints for fraud and extortion with the Texas Attorney General (Complaint No: CGS-62983) and the Texas Motor Vehicle Division (Dealer No: P126266) against One World Cars and its owners Amad and Chin Ismail. The car I paid cash for was filthy , sold with a bad bearing, cracked brake hoses, worn-out tires, and dirty oil. I needed a car ASAP so I bought it. It took me 12 weeks to receive title for the 2007 Volvo XC vV70 car I paid Amad and Chin Ismail over $7,000 cash for. Even after my title had been returned to Amad and Chin because they used an incorrect mailing address , they still refused to deliver title until I agreed to allow them to keep a $90 overpayment I had mistakenly made on my cashier's check for the car. During the 6 weeks my title was lost in the mail, Chin refused to help and told me to apply for a lost title myself which I did, and received a letter 30 days later from MVD that stated they could not reissue "my" title since Chin and Amad had never put the title in my name. For 10 weeks after paying cash for the car, I was unable to register it. By the time the MVD forced Chin and Amad to convey title to me, my temp tag had been expired 30 days. Chin suggested in well-documented text messages that my alternative would be to drive from Santa Fe to Dallas and pick it up myself. All of the text and email messages conveyed to me regarding my purchase by One World Cars and its fraudulent owners Amad and Chin Ismail, have been saved and are available for view by request.

On April 11th, I returned the loaner and received my replacement van, but not before they pulled my credit again and made me wait over two hours to sign the new paperwork. That should have been the end of this bad experience , but unfortunately, the problems were just beginning. Yesterday April 29th, I just found out by chance that Mercedes-Benz Financial still has me listed as past due on the original loan for the defective vehicle. No one from the dealership informed them of the buyback or took the necessary steps to cancel or freeze the old loan. I only found out because I called the dealership once again to ask about toll charges that were never removed from my account, charges I've been disputing with the dealership for almost a month. Even worse , the loaner agreement falsely claims I returned the vehicle on April 17th, even though I gave it back on April 11th, the same day I picked up the replacement van. This appears to be a clear misrepresentation, and raises serious concerns about how the dealership manages their records and handles warranty claims. When I called Mercedes-Benz Financial to correct the issue, I was shocked to learn they had no idea that the buyback even happened. If I hadn't called, I would've remained unaware of the past-due status, and my credit could have been damaged, all because of this dealership's incompetence and failure to communicate. As of today April 30th, the dealership claims they are still waiting on Mercedes Benz USA to found the deal and finalize the buy-back. But no one ever informed me this would take 20+ days, or that my old loan was still be active in themeantime MB Jeff and GM Heath Strayhan will NOT answer my calls, emails, voicemails. I am An Army Veteran who fought hard for our freedom but this battle with Park Place Motorcars of Arlington is Not an easy one because they do whatever they feel like and they don't even respect the fact that I also defended their freedom.
