Note that the groups has made coffee from many companies as well as small local places that acquire and roast their own beans. This brand is generally considered average at best with many below average. This company is political and the feedback comes from some that align with the views and some that do not, but bias was managed in both directions. Overall there are better choices. This review is specific to the coffee it produces and puts on the shelf or sells in its cafes.

I really enjoyed the 1776 that has sea salt toffee, caramel and mocha. I have a sweet tooth and love coffee so it was a great match for me. I also tried the Horchata Latte, which was a bit watery and didn't have enough cinnamon and vanilla flavor for me. My family did enjoy their Black Coffee, Vanilla Cold Brew, and Green Tea. We wanted to try their Honey Chai but they ran out of Chai. Notes: We came in the morning and they were busy with line almost to the door. They managed through the long line fairly quickly with a person at register and two baristas making the coffee. Service was friendly and accurate given my families long list of orders. Once you climb the stairs, you'll see various spots to lounge on the porch from rustic looking benches and chairs to swings hanging from rope. Upon entering the shop, it is a combination of rustic mountain decor with fun and whimsical pieces--- from the coffee tree to the taxidermy squirrel riding the bucking fox rodeo style. The place is so inviting, comfortable, and it's charm is unmatched. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your coffee in the Smokies. Spouse and I always get the Campfire Latte, and it's incredible with mocha, white mocha, and toasted marshmallow syrup.
