    Cowboy Joe Burger

I got a cowboy joe burger and it was absolutely delicious. They have barqs root beer which is a plus. The only thing I didn't love was the fries which were crispy but bland and unseasoned. They definitely need either some ketchup or some kind of dips

We went here because we were sitting by one of the fireplaces and saw a couple eating this food out of there to go containers and really enjoying it so we asked them about it. Learning that it was priced really well and had a lot of gluten-free items that were not contaminated, we quickly headed over to order something for ourselves. You can see in the photo that there are a lot of options including gluten-free chicken nuggets which are very hard to find. They were very delicious and the perfect ratio of meat to batter. The french fries and tater tots were also very good. And again, all these things I mentioning in this paragraph are gluten-free and not cross contaminated. My son ordered a burger which had special sauce. The special sauce does not have dairy in it which is a positive for us. He said the burger was average They also have gluten-free buns that look very good. Not the Udi's brand that fall apart three bites into it The person taking our order is either the owner or a manager based on his knowledge level, professionalism, and pride of the business. He was great The entire area is covered which is nice in case it's raining. There's no inside area to eat so you have the option to eat at one of the handful of tables that you can see in the photo. Or take it to go The village has various benches all around it as well as three different areas with gas fireplaces that you could also sit and eat at. Those areas just don't have tables Their entire restaurant area was extremely clean and well taken care of

Burger was good as was pricing but lettuce (every single leaf!) was filled with bugs. Never washed. Grossed me out. And noticed the gal up front. She didn't really care. No refund. No compensation etc .... Just a worker.

okay for a quick bite when you're shopping, but also not the greatest. the onion rings were quite nice and crispy, but the chicken strips and fries we ordered were not the best quality. while the chicken was nicely fried, it was kind of dry and more breading than anything. the fries also had that frozen taste to them, and it's clear it was just pre-packaged.

This burger place is situated in The Village at Totem Lake, not too far from Barnes and Noble, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods nearby. I recommend parking around the Whole Foods or Trader Joe's areas and walking towards here as the parking near this location is almost always packed. The place as a whole is outside, with several tables for outdoor seating nearby. The place sells burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, milkshakes and fries among other things. While lining up with my friend, one person nearby highly recommended their burgers, especially their Joe's burger and Joe's classic cheese burger. For all the burgers, you can have it as a single- or double-patty burger, and make it a combo with a side if you wish. I got the Joe's classic double cheese burger along with a side of regular fries. Patties needed more flavor and seasoning and ended up being on the bland side. Fries were also slightly overcooked and saltier than I would have liked. Overall, experience here was decent, and I'd like the give their milkshakes a try on the off chance I come back around this location!

We decided to try this place for lunch since we never had before. It's definitely a take out place but they do have a couple of seatings for you to enjoy your meal if you want to. We ordered the Joe's burger and the order of fries. Total was around $12. Seems like they made it fresh to order as it did take a little bit of time. The burger was pretty standard I think. Nothing really stood out. And for $7, I would have gotten the cheeseburger option or the other options for just $1 more. The fries though was really good. Fresh, crispy and hot. the portion of the fries was very generous too Overall, I would come back to try their other burgers and other things they had on their menu.

I had the tots and the classic cheeseburger was great tots were a touch over done but not bad. The burger I thought was really good. The bun was ok but all together a tasty burger. I did notice the fries and the onion rings looked dark too. I saw a lot of complaints about overcooked fries, onion rings I thought the tots were about the best looking there. Just my recommendation.

Small burger take out place in Village at Totem Lake. Mostly counter with a handful of tables outside. No dine ins. They have kept the menu simple - variety of burgers - made of beef patties with an option to replace it with veggie, turkey, grilled or crispy chicken. Fries, Rings, Hotdogs, sandwiches, baskets and drinks. We stopped by yesterday evening - opted the Mushroom Swiss with grilled chicken and their special of the day - Super veggies and a chicken basket. Took around 10 mins for the food to be ready. They packed the burgers together which was super inconvenient especially the veggie one was for someone who is a strict vegetarian. Coming to the burgers, Mushroom Swiss was really good. Loved the flavor and delicious with the grilled mushrooms in it. The grilled chicken was ok - not so juicy - may be it was slightly overcooked. The Super veggie turned out to be a big disappointment. It's dominated by the lettuce, being a lettuce wrap - I should have expected that - with a veggie patty, tomato and pickles. The chicken basket was another let down - it's a big box of fries with 8 small pieces of fried chicken. Seriously? We were not happy with two third of our order. Felt like a big let down when it comes to the offering. Price looks decent to me. It's a great option for a quick grab. I hope they will improve! Staffs are really nice! Everyone was in a Holiday Spirit and good vibes! Best way to find a parking would be to use the near by garages than waiting for nearby one to free up!

Cowboy Joe Burger - delicious and see how it stayed together - that's perfection

I got the combo - Hawaiian chicken + karaage requesting extra salad instead of rice, as well as a half order of loco moco. It's nice that there is half order as a lot of Hawaiian restaurants tend to be full orders so it is incredibly hard to try a variety of options if you're solo or in a small group. The Hawaiian chicken and karaage both are juicy and delicious. It's great that the combo is the same price as the standard individual options so I got to try more variety without paying extra. I looked at the reviews and opted to remove the rice and get extra salad which was a good move - their chop chop salad is very delicious with a nice balance of dressing, cheese, and ham. I still had some rice from the loco moco, which was sufficient for me. The loco moco is good - I wished the patty was a bit less tough but the gravy and egg make up for it. Overall, great value and great food. I'd be a regular if I didn't live so far from Kirkland (1 hr drive for food can be challenging in busy schedules)

I noticed that most of the ladies who take the order, push for addons/fixin's, while the males listen to the order quietly. For example, my usual order is double baconmaster no lettuce no tomatoes. When I order with a male, he listens, takes the order and I pay, no drama. When a lady takes the order, she usually interrupts me at the "double baconmaster " and asks if I want onions pickles and whatever. So I have to say no, and say "no lettuce no tomatoes". She then asks again to confirm about onions and pickles etc. NOOOOOO I don't want anything more, just listen to what I want!!! Today in particular, this new lady that I never interacted with, did the same thing and made it very difficult and unpleasant. I wish the servers stopped being pushy and learned to just listen. It's probably ok to ask for extras at the end, but let the customer finish the order please. I'll keep my review 5* for now, but it bothers me so much that I might knock it down if this doesn't change, it ruins my experience. Edit 4/25/2026: okay, exactly the day after this review, I went back. A young male server takes the order, today I ordered my usual, but I did not say no lettuce no tomatoes (want the full experience today). He takes the order, smiles and asks "no no lettuce and tomatoes today?". I mean, this is service, he made me feel good and the whole interaction was pleasant and respectful. He didn't ask for anything else. Awesome service.

Toasted & buttered pub bun, served with house seasoned fried potato chips. This order costs $20.40. I have no problem with the cost if the food is good. I was delusional and thought salmon means salmon filet, which is what Tipsy Cow serves, not chopped salmon, ala Trident/Costco salmon patty. As soon as I saw that, I knew I wasn't eating this dinner. I hate salmon patty with a passion. The pickle fries are "ok" with a passing C. I still prefer the original wedge pickle fries that are obviously house made. I am not certain about these. For some reason, my husband was still hungry after eating his burger plus 3/4 of his sweet potato fries and 3/4 of my pickle fries. He has a healthy appetite but not this much. I will not speculate rather the burger is or is not 1/3 lb. I will simply say he ended up eating my salmon burger, too. He said he doesn't want to order from them either because he wasn't full after his $20 meal (plus some of mine).

I've visited other Shake Shacks before, but this was my first time visiting their Kirkland location. The Kirkland location is pretty big and has a good amount of indoor seating and outdoor patio seating. It's located across from QFC and the kiddie fountains, and so you can enjoy your burger while watching your kids (or dogs) play in the water in the summer. My family ordered: - VEGGIE SHACK ($9.99 for a single patty, $12.99 for a double patty) - Veggie burger packed with mushrooms, sweet potatoes, carrots, farro, and quinoa, and topped with American cheese, crispy onions, pickles and ShackSauce. This is not your typical Impossible burger or black bean burger, although it has more the texture of the latter. The patty exterior is crispy and the interior is soft and mushy, which complements the crunchy pickles well. It's a little on the sweeter side because of the sweet potato and carrots, but overall a satisfying veggie burger. If it weren't for the fries and shake, I'd probably get a double patty as one patty wasn't satiating enough for lunch. - 'SHROOM BURGER ($9.99) - Crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. This was another unique vegetarian burger as I've never had a mushroom substituted for a patty before, much less, a fried mushroom stuffed with cheese. If you like mozzarella sticks, this is the burger for you! - CHEESEBURGER ($7.99 for a single patty, $10.99 for a double patty, $13.99 for a triple patty) - A made-to-order quarter pound per patty of 100% Angus beef with American cheese, and your choice of toppings on a toasted potato bun. We were a little disappointed by this burger as it doesn't come with topping by default and so it was a pretty plain burger. Apparently you have to ask for the toppings when ordering at the register (which we didn't know) or order via kiosk or online. - FRIES ($4) - enough talk about the burgers, these crinkle cut fries might have been the BEST FRIES we've ever had. They were burning hot right out of the fryer, super crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. They had just the right amount of salt and had a good body to them to, where even the longest strands didn't break. We loved these so much, that we ended up ordering an extra basket after we finished off the first. - VANILLA SHAKE ($6) - House-made vanilla frozen custard with real vanilla. I prefer my shakes on the thicker side, but this didn't quite meet the mark as it was more liquidy than I would've liked (perhaps because it's custard-based). While it supposedly contains real vanilla, there aren't any vanilla bean flecks and so it most likely just uses vanilla extract. It was cold and refreshing, but can't say I'd go out of my way for it. - COFFEE SHAKE ($6) - Dark roast coffee hand-spun with our house-made vanilla frozen custard. The coffee taste was kind of flat and tasted more like a Frappuccino. The lid also wasn't screwed on properly (or had extra liquid that got stuck underneath the lid) and so it spilled everywhere. Service was great and we got our food within 10 minutes after ordering. They bring the food to your table and you bus yourself. The outdoor tables were relatively clean.
