As soon as I took my first bite of the raviolis with spinach and cheese , I couldn't stop making noises as this is the best authentic Italian food I've ever had. My entire family was in heaven. I would give 4 stars for the food and service. We ordered Calzones. They were delicious and huge! The presentation was nice too, they were served on round platter cutting boards with a ramekin of marinara. The salads we ordered and ate while we waited for Calzones were fresh and tasty too. I had the Caesar salad. Now, the reason that the overall review is lower...the cigarette smell and some sort of cleaner smell were not pleasant. I spoke with our server and he said the cigarette smell is coming from the bar next door through the walls and they've tried to mitigate it. Otherwise, the restaurant is clean and pleasant. Okay okay okay , in the other reviews ppls highest complaint was the smell of cigarettes and yes it does smell kinda bad definitely not a place for children but in their defense there is a bar quite literally next door causing that issue . Beyond that the food was honestly great . Me and my man got Alfredo and a margarita pizza that comes with the bread sticks that is basically homemade version of Olive Garden bread. We've ordered from this place a few times and decided to go into the restaurant. Our first clue was that no one was dining in the 8-table restaurant. It was awful - smelled strongly like cigarettes, the men's toilet didn't have a lid and the waitress was quiet and obviously not knowledgeable of the menu. We should have left when we saw there was cholula on the table (???) at an Italian restaurant. Alcohol would have helped, but they don't serve any. When they brought out our food it was SCORCHING on a skillet - inedible for about 10 minutes when we and our kids were starving. The food was awful - the pink sauce tasted like puke and they heat the pasta in a skillet so all the sauce cooked out. Overall, a waste of $70 for 2 kids pizzas and 2 pasta dishes, which is so frustrating since we don't go out often. Be better. read more

So...apparently this place gets rave reviews! This is the worst Italian restaurant I have ever been to! My wife ordered Chicken Diablo and you have to question if the chicken was pounded and breaded earlier this week and the fried tonight or even re-fried from last night. The waitress asked, "if the chicken diablo was good?" My wife said, "it is what it is." The waitress walked off and smiled?!? Like did you not hear her??? I ordered the Chicken Piccata...a staple of any good Italian restaurant. It came out and was literally Chicken Piccata soup. Just absolutely disgusting. The lemons are typically garnish...not here, they are swimming in the sauce and have obviously been heated up. Disgusting! I had the dish remade and this is the outcome, it's a tad better. I believe the owner brought my second dish out and asked if everything was okay? I explained that the chicken looked like it was fried and re-fried and he assured it was made fresh when you order. The garlic butter is only on top, would probably be even more yummy if some garlic was baked within the bread. Following the bread the fried ravioli came out. For me, it was "ok". I don't have to have it again but if you are there and super hungry go for it. It comes out very fast and pipping hot! I think they could cut the sauce in half, too much. I really like this place. It's consistently good which is hard to find! The way they package their food is very much appreciated & because they insulate it so well with layers of protection, your food stays warm a long time! It's right by my house so very convenient and you can pick up your food in the drive thru which I personally love. I only have one "complaint" and that's that I wish they had meat filled fried ravioli and not just cheese...but I still get the cheese ones & they are really really good! This is an enthusiastic 5! I enjoy looking for the best lasagna and I have found it here. They load it up with plenty of ground beef--most places you have to search for the meat. The marinara sauce is delicious and then they cover it with the best mozzarella and lots of it. Other restaurants are always skimpy on the cheese. The garlic rolls will make you slap yo Momma. And they keep them coming. Use them to sop up the yummy sauce. My partner had the pasta sampler and loved it. Portions of lasagna, manicotti and cannelloni were generous.
