    lobster spaghetti

Stopped by Joey on King Street with a group of four and had a really enjoyable experience. I ordered the lobster spaghetti along with the cranberry cool drink--both were great. The pasta was rich and satisfying, with a nice balance of flavors, and the drink was refreshing without being overly sweet. Service really stood out. Our server was attentive, friendly, and did a great job keeping up with our table without being intrusive. Everything came out smoothly, and we felt well taken care of throughout the meal. Overall, a solid spot for a casual night out with good food and great service. Would definitely come back.

We came in on Boxing Day around lunch time, it was surprisingly quiet and no reservations were needed. That being said, service was fairly slow. It took us a while to get drinks and food. We really enjoyed the French dip appetizer- would eat again. We also enjoyed the pasta with steak and lobster (very lemon -y). For the steak frites I recommend upgrading to a better cut

We had a celebratory lunch at Joey - King St. for two people retiring from our Board. There were 14 of us. This restaurant is massive! But despite it's size, it wasn't too noisy even though it was full of diners. I had the Farmer's market salad with salmon which was delicious. Others at the table also enjoyed their meals. Our server saw the flowers and overheard discussions about retirement and prepared desserts for the people retiring. An excellent and classy move. Would highly recommend

Joey's King Street offers luxury at mid tier pricing. Upon entering the venue, you will see soaring ceilings, upscale decor. They offered us free bubbly upon entry. I ordered the Seafood Linguine and Steak combo. It was delightful in flavour and the steak was perfectly cooked. The server was attentive to our group of 8 and had a positive experience. They also offered a free dessert as we were celebrating onboarding a new team member. If you are looking for an exceptional service experience, you found the right restaurant!

This new location of Joeys is truly stunning! The way they have built this place along with just the overall vibes is killer! It is quite busy of a location so make sure to make a reservation ahead of time! The service is great and the hostess/servers are extremely kind! The food never disappoints at Joeys and nothing different with this location. I love the Steak & Sushi combo and getting the Spaghetti Pomodoro! Great drinks and great vibes overall! 9/10 recommend!

This location is massive inside, with a nice and classy dark ambiance. Everything from the host, service, and ambiance, to the food and overall experience was 5 out of 5. All of our servers were very friendly, attentive, and able to customize our orders (take out or add on certain ingredients). They even gave us a surprise complimentary dessert plate for Thanksgiving in the end, which we did not expect. Review of the dishes we had: 1) Farmer's Market Salad (kale, lettuce, red cabbage, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, beets, strawberries, roasted corn, sunflower seeds, aged cheddar cheese, champagne vinaigrette) + grilled artichokes add-on - We were asked if we wanted a large or small size of the salad, and we opted for a large size to share. They were able to do the dressing and cheese on the side. The salad was fresh and a great complement to our main dishes. We also added extra grilled arthichokes which was not part of the original list of ingredients for the salad. 2) Lobster Tail (with crispy mashed potatoes, broccolini, and miso roasted mushrooms) - The lobster tail was great, despite it being quite small in size. The crispy mashed potatoes looked like deep-fried spring rolls, with mashed potatoes inside. I wasn't a fan. But the broccolini ("seasonal vegetable") was nicely crisp and not overcooked, which I loved. The miso roasted mushrooms were a bit too saucy and salty for me. 3) Oven-Roasted Wild Cod (with steamed and crispy rice, snap peas, cauliflower, almonds, and Thai peanut curry sauce) - I love cod so this dish was a winner. The cod was cooked perfectly, and the amonds added a nice crunch to the rice. There was a good amount of snap peas on the plate, with small pieces of cauliflower. I'm usually not a big fan of curry sauces, but this Thai peanut curry sauce was pretty good and went well with the fish and rice. 4) Lobster Spaghetti (spaghetti with Atlantic lobster, prawns, cherry tomatoes, Italian parsley, white wine, shallots, and lobster-lemon butter sauce) - As someone who is not a big fan of spaghetti, I actually liked this dish. There were more pieces of prawns than lobster. The spaghetti was al dente and the sauce was good (not too creamy or overpowering). The Italian parsley added a nice herbacious garnish, and the cherry tomatoes added a touch of freshness. 5) Complimentary Thanksgiving Desserts: Mango & Pineapple Fruit Compote, Crème Brûlée Cheesecake, Coconut Whip Cream - This was unexpected and a nice surprise in the end. The mini desserts were plated very nicely and decorated on the plate too, saying "Happy Thanksgiving". I liked that the portion of each of the 3 desserts was small, as we were already very full by the end of the meal. I found it to be a very nice gesture, which elevated the dining experience (that was already very good and satisfying to begin with).

Joey on King has the most epic vibe!!! The space is huge, and it's bustling with a live DJ playing music that is tempting your body to sway to the rhythms. With champagne bottles on display in sparkling ice, and people having a sip while waiting to be seated....it's already a great start to the evening. The food is also fantastic. I love how the menu caters to all kinds of diners. My vegetarian and gluten free teammates were certainly satisfied. Same for myself too as I zoomed right into the steak in front of me. Loved the miso sauce that came with the steak, making it distinct from other steaks in the city. Service was a little slow as we were 15 people, so it's understandable. But at least the food didn't come to us cold. Will definitely go back for sure.

We walked in here without a RSVP and was told it would be about a 45 minute to 60 minute wait. We left our name and number and walked away. 15 minutes later we got a text saying our table was ready. There's ample street parking and parking lots a few blocks away. This restaurant is impressive. There's an open kitchen in the center that was immaculate. The menu did require me to bust out my reading glasses. Their menu has something for everyone, and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The Tomahawk ribeye was cooked well, and delivered already cut in portion pieces (thank you!). The pasta was cooked very well, and the beef carpaccio was fresh. Our waitress's Mona friendly and elevated the dining experience frequently stopping by and checking on us. Surprisingly a restaurant of this perfection, the price was reasonable.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The decor was beautiful, the service was fast and outstanding, and the food was top-notch. It took only about 5 minutes for our food to come out, and everything arrived right away within about 10-15 minutes. Our server, Serena, was incredibly helpful and funny she made a few jokes that had our whole table laughing and really lightened the mood. When I mentioned it was my birthday, they surprised me with a super cute dessert, which made the experience even more special. 100/10, would definitely recommend!

Shout out to Marston, Emma, and Shanelle--the best servers! Really enjoyed our time at Joey and it made our happy hour an absolute delight. This Joey location offers a bubbly upon entry, likely because it's still newly opened. It's a really nice touch that helps set the tone! The happy hour here is actually fantastic-genuinely good deals and great drinks/foods. All the servers (especially Marston) are amazing and accommodating to our group. The food and drinks are amazing! And service is fantastic all-round.

Great happy hour spot located in the financial district. This is their flagship location. They had a violinist walking around playing live music . I was also greeted with Prosecco while waiting for table. The service was great. Food was mediocre but vibes were good. Lots of open space and there's an open kitchen. Washrooms were pretty clean. There's limited parking nearby so I recommend taking public transit

Joey King St. had the perfect level of quality for the price point. We thought the food was delicious, the service was excellent and the ambiance was upscale but not outrageously over the top.

I always liked the Joey chain restaurants but was simply amazed by this particular location. This Joey king street flagship location is the largest in North America and it is absolutely stunning. The space feels warm and inviting, with beautiful decor and tall trees that give it such a cozy vibe. I ordered the truffle Parmesan fries and the truffle udon carbonara, and both were incredible. The fries were super crispy but still pillowy soft on the inside, and the aioli on the side was a great pairing. But the truffle udon carbonara completely blew my mind--it was probably the best thing I've eaten all year. The flavour was perfect: umami, creamy, and so rich. The only thing I wish was for the udon to be a bit chewier since it was slightly overcooked, but that didn't take away from how good it was. I also got the real peach bellini to go with dinner. it was a frozen slushy cocktail and it was really yummy. I also had a sip of their mai tai, which was good, but I still prefer their iconic peach bellini. The flower garnish on the mai tai was also such a nice touch and perfect for photos. I'm so happy I got to try Joey king street, and I'm already excited to come back. I can't wait to try more of their appetizers and other dishes, but I'll definitely be ordering the truffle udon carbonara again!

Dining room chic. Service was good. Lots of nice booths. Reminded me of being in nyc

Ambiance: Stunning from the moment you walk in. Despite the soaring ceilings and two-level layout, the space still feels intimate thanks to the dim, romantic lighting.
