They changed their onion rings to beer battered or whatever Instead of the crunchy ones made with bread crumbs! I hate that kind of onion ring. Overall we had a pretty good experience. I think our server is what we disliked like most. I enjoyed my burger even though it came wrong, it was good and the bun tasted fresh like homemade. The kids meals are on the smaller side though. All 3 of our kids left hungry as the meals left much to be desired. The kids sliders are the tiniest I've ever seen a restaurant serve. I seen on a review about bottomless fries and asked our server about it as it wasn't Offered. It is a real thing but man they should just do away with it. We had a wonderful experience at Johnny Huston's. We were seated outside per preference as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was great and knowledgeable. I ordered the fried chicken tacos and they were super delicious! The chicken was so juicy and the sauce was delicious! My husband got the brisket burger no bun and he said it was delicious! My sister got the whiskey chicken and it was a big position and great. My son got chicken tenders with ranch and the ranch is super yummy! Prices go up. Portion size goes down. Quality goes down. And the hosts are consistently confused and unfriendly but they're young so they'll get a pass. I used to love the burgers here then the portion shrunk and the price went up but the worst part is the quality went way down. The burgers always very well done and the fries are soggy even when eating in. They also really struggle to make take out orders work with online orders only being the option expect for that the website will say you must call at those times. Place needs to reflect and improve before they're not fortunate enough to be the only burger place in town. read more

I am sitting on the balcony of out condo as I reflect on out dinner last night. When we arrived, the timing was perfect. They crammed "8" of us into 1 booth. Let's just say it was a little tight. Grandson ordered 12 wings w 2 different sauces, granddaughter ordered 6 wings, and oldest granddaughter ordered a burger and fries. The little ones ordered cheese pizza, salad, and grilled cheese. Grandsons girlfriend ordered a Love Me Tender chicken sandwich w fries. Now....I see the waiter bringing my nachos, and you can guess what happened next. Some of it was dumped in my lap. This can happen anywhere at any time, seems it was my turn to be humiliated. It was not very busy when we arrived, and I wondered if the waiter had a date and was in a hurry to get out of there. Never saw him again. The staff was very helpful with providing cleanup. After waiting a while, I stood up waving my hands to get their attention as we needed refills. Instead of taking our glasses and kids cups, she decided to bring us new drinks. Gah! This added more junk on our overly crowded table. No one came to our table to starting clearing away all those plates and empty drinks. I took one sip of my second margarita and said it was time to go. Seriously, how can you screw up a margarita? As we were leaving, I observed 3 servers watching a video on an iPad. Guess they were looking for fun. Ha! read more

Neat decor. Fast, friendly staff. Food made fresh and came out fast. The shrimp taco was excellent. Full of flavor and big plump shrimp. I didn't do the jalapeño ranch on it as I'm not a big fan of spicy, but the put regular ranch on it for me and the jalapeño ranch on the side. I did try it and it has a good kick and was tasty. The fries were cooked very well and full of flavor. Family had the fish dinner and it was a big piece of fish! One member got the mixed veggies as a side and commented how good they were. Others got wings to eat and they were big and plenty!! We had no complaints with food or service. Would def eat here again and recommend it to others!! read more

We came here tonight to eat since it was right around corner from where our Airbnb was. We got there around 5:30 about a 15 minute wait. When we left about an hour later it was getting packed. My boys ordered the Mac and cheese burger and tater tot burger. They loved both. You will have to use tons of napkins they were messy! My daughter ordered the burger with guacamole and sweet potato fries and loved them both. She said next time she would skip bun. She ate with a knife and fork. I got the shrimp wrap and it was fantastic the fries were super good too. My husband got the regular burger and onion rings and he really enjoyed both. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Navarre that we have found so far! We came in early afternoon on a Saturday and only had a 15 minute wait. They have an awesome menu, plenty of different options, the atmosphere was fantastic, not too loud at all, plenty of seating inside and out, great service and they had sports on the TV's around the restaurant so I'm sure it's a great place to go to watch a big game or fight. Mac and cheese burger was probably top 5 best burgers I've had anywhere in the country, and my wife had the Buffalo chicken flatbread that she said was amazing. Not a single complaint at all! The food is great, the ambience is nice but the service is rough. We tried this place twice and both times the service made the experience not worth it. The first time we went our server was good but we ordered drinks and she forgot to ring them in and we waited for her to come back but she didn't check on us until we were done with the food. So we ended up cancelling the drinks and going to the Gray taproom instead. No hard feelings, that can happen. The wings were delicious and the I loved their sweet potatoes fries, my husband enjoyed the burger too. So last weekend we decided to go there again, the tables inside were occupied so we ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender promptly asked us what we wanted, we asked for waters and before we could request the menus or anything and he turned around and left. He dropped the waters, no menus no other questions just left. Seemed like he got annoyed we wanted to order water instead of drinks right away. After that we waited for him to come back, he was the only one working at the bar it wasn't busy. My husband asked for menus from the front so we could be ready to order but he never came back to check on us but he never did. He was at the bar talking, hugging people and checking on refills/drinks. We decided what to order after looking at the menu and we waited... We tried to get his attention but no response, he was checking on the bar but just simply didn't feel like serving us so I got over it and decided to leave.
