First time trying this donut place while waiting for take out from Relo's. It was noon on Easter Sunday. I think they were opened until noon but they didn't kick me out! I just got one chocolate old fashioned donut to try! I love old fashioned donut since I don't like those OG ones. Usually old fashioned donuts are hard. But this one is quite soft! At first , I was surprised by the texture. I was expecting the usual hard texture. But the more I ate it, the more I loved it. The softness made it taste fresher! I will definitely come back when I crave for an old fashioned donut!

I am craving for french crullers donuts today. I bought 1 dozen of donuts (3 chocolate french crullers, 5 glazed french crullers, 3 glazed twists donuts, 1 pink frosting w/sprinkle donut cake). Driving there back and forward from home (30 minutes drive). Worth it for once in a while!

I haven't had a good donut in a minute, then came here! I was so excited to have a fluffy donut that I couldn't even wait to take pictures! This donut shop is so old school in the best of ways. Classic donuts and at still (which is hard in 2024) a decent price! We tried the old fashioned, Glaze donuts, Chocolate Glaze, and the apple fritter. All were hits and we have nothing negative to say! Thank you for keeping donuts how they should be!

I drive by this donut shop weekly and decided to finally stop by. It has a nice size seating area. Prices have gone up everywhere but anything to support pink box donut shops. The ladies here are nice and friendly. I paid about $37 for two dozen of donuts for work. The donuts were pretty good and was a hit at work. Fresh and soft doughy heaven.

After visiting another establishment nearby, I had to try this place's donuts. My weakness is for chocolate old fashion donuts. Usually around 11 am, donut selection can be slim. I this case, they had my old fashion donuts that's all I need to know. LOL. Two, please. Reasonably priced, two donuts for $3.50. I'm good. The donut was fresh, doughy and chocolaty as it should be. A good find. I will definitely stop by again.

Johnny's is a small donut shop near the new Ace Hardware and the popular Taqueria Los Pericos. When you are in the mood to do a large home project pick up supplies at Ace. Don't forget to add tacos and donuts for your friends that volunteered some project help or just came for the food party. Johnny's has a variety of donuts to choose from. We picked a buttermilk old fashioned and a lemon filled donut for relaxing with our cup of Joe at home. The buttermilk was tasty and elicits the feeling of wanting more. The lemon filled donut will make a great addition to eggnog after dinner. The staff was friendly giving us a great experience. We recommend you try Johnny's. A word of caution, Johnny's may become addictive

Been coming here growing up as a kid, especially my high school cheers! I used to always gets a dozen donut holes and their apple turnovers. Coming here brings back sooo many amazing childhood memories and all the nostalgic feels about the good old days! Now, I bring my son here! His favorites are the donut holes as well so we always have to get up early on a Saturday to make sure we get our hands on them! My husband gets his usually 2 glazed donuts and 1 glaze twist. Best donut in town, so even though I'm sure you want to sleep in on a Saturday morning (like I do), pull yourself out of bed and head over to Johnny's donuts before 9 to get their amazing donut holes and glazed twists, as those are gone the quickest!

Donuts are donuts, and Johnny's Donuts are no exception. Fresh donuts are delicious and it's pretty hard to screw them up. If you want a fresh donut, head to Johnny's. Nothing truly special but you'll be happy. read more

Strap yourselves in boys and girls, this place is not all that! First, the dozen donuts I purchased were outright stale! Zoinks, what a disappointment! A few months later I thought to myself, "Maybe I'm being too hard on the place...In fact, I thought about giving this place a second shot because of the reviews before mine, however, I remembered the taste and have decided against it. This place is great. I always get the dozen donut holes or some kind of chocolate donut. They are soft, sweet, and fresh. A great way to start my day with some bomb donuts. Nothing super special, but definitely good! Great service too. The worker there was friendly. Don't forget to buy some hot coffee or something to drink, they have a selection of cold drinks. read more

So happy this sweet donut shop is still thriving during this awful pandemic. They have THE BEST DONUTS EVER. I don't even like donuts, but I love theirs! They are soft and chewy and full of flavor. You can tell they put their heart into their delicious donuts. My favorite is their maple glazed cinnamon roll *drool* seriously the best thing I've ever tasted! Do not go to Dunkin or any of the other big chain donut shops. SHOP LOCAL AND SUPPORT THIS PLACE!! I feel very safe going here. Social distancing, makes worn by staff and they have plexiglass protection for the staff as well! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business. I love a good donut! My husband and I treated ourselves since we were able to catch them open. Nothing fancy, but thats okay. They do it right and thats all that matters. Selection was good for 2pm. No reason to go anywhere else for Donuts. They make donuts the way they should be. They are fresh, and delicious. SO much better than anything you'll find at a super market or chain place. How I love donuts! They are super duper good! Tried the apple fritters, choco bar filled to the brim with custard, and they both were sublime. I like how there's no acrid after taste (usually happens when they reuse frying oil without changing it daily) and the chewiness of the dough. Fresh donuts that are well made. I just wish I could eat them every day. read more

There are only two doughnut shops in town and they are owned by the same people. If you don't come early enough, they're probably sold out. Sucks when you only like the plain cake doughnuts while your kids want anything they can fill with custard. Love the staff here. The young man needs to wake up or just take a class in personality but the lady is always friendly and knows how to smile. For what Dublin has to offer in doughnut shops, it's average. It's also history and part of the original Dublin. read more

For $1 a donut it was not all that. I could taste the egg n the donuts not sure if this is always how they are or just the batch I had. Great service and they have lots of regulars that go in bring their own coffee cups and enjoy a cup of joe a donut and chillen. Maybe I'm just a donut snob I tried their donut holes (the egg tasting ones I mentioned) a cake donut that made me happy cake donuts are my shhhhh and a regular chocolate glazed donut didn't really have much to say it made me feel like I wasted calories n fat eating it a dozen regular donuts are $11.60 they had a huge glazed donut it looked impressive but I'm not sure about the taste. read more

Johnny's Donuts is a landmark in the Dublin San Ramon area. The quality continues even after the original owner, Johnny sold the business several years ago. People travel to get their donuts at this location. It deserves to have a five star rating. You're lucky to have Johnny's Donuts near us. read more

I heard this is a landmark donut shop -- been around for decades. I haven't lived in the area my whole life, however, I have been coming here since moving to the area a few years ago. Donuts are solidly delicious, and the workers are super friendly. I bought two dozen donuts and the dude threw in a dozen donut holes (which I devoured within 2 minutes of sitting in my car!!) Whenever I bring donuts into work for my peers, I always stop by here. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Fresh and tasty donuts. I recommend. read more

Holy cow these donuts are amazing! This place is in a run down shopping center and the place looks old school but don't let that turn you away. Most donut shops are this way and at least it's clean! Big seating area so you can take it to go or eat it there. We stopped by in the afternoon after eating next door so there wasn't much of a selection (our fault). We got a maple cake donut and chocolate cake donut, delicious! Normally cake donuts are a bit harder and while these were dense, they were still fluffy. We also got a basic glaze donut and a chocolate glaze donut. So good. Can't wait to come back! read more

We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!

These are not your run of the mill pastries you get at a coffee shop. These pasties are in a whole other level! Chocolate Croissant and Pisrachio Croissant - Flaky on the outside. Moist and delicious in the middle. Spinach and Feta Pastry - Crisp and flaky and the middle is flavorful. Caramel Brownie - very rich. You can to share this with someone else or eat it over a few days. It's amazing!

Anyone that knows me knows my last meal in life would consist of Berry Pie for dessert. I look and there it is a Mixed Berry. I turn and ask the lady after she was done with her customer how much for this delight? She said it's $24. Without question I grabbed said pie, and went to the register. I told her that Berry is my favorite, and she went on to say that every Friday is Pie Day. She also mentioned that if I ever needed anything in particular, I could call ahead. She could have it prepared for me. Wonderful lady and beautiful service. Might I add that a pie of this weight and stature normally runs about $35 even $40 in some places. We had a slice the next day because I could not bear it any longer. Without lie this is the best pie I've had in years!!!! Years or even perhaps ever. It has to be realized that if there is Berry Pie of any kind on the menu it will be ordered even to go. There were actual whole berries, and it was not full of sugar like some pies. You can taste the natural fruit of summer, and the crust was perfection!!!! Now I have to wait for a Birthday to order a cake. I'm sure it will be divine! I could take a pic of pie now but it's partially gone. Not so picturesque.

I noticed that they had a cute robot to deliver some of the orders, but ours were just brought out at the counter by one of the staff members. We got the Bulgogi Egg Toast Sandwich, Spam Egg + Avocado Toast Sandwich, two tater tots, and two Dalgona Coffees. Both sandwiches were flavorful, soft, a little crunchy from the perfect toasting, and just YUMMY! The tater tots were crunchy and yum too. The Dalgona Coffee was delicious as well. I thought there would be dalgona crunchy bits, but no. That would have make it even better if it had. The staff seem friendly. The place was cute, colorful, and clean. The ambience is decent as well. One thing I'd recommend is going earlier in the day because there's usually a bigger pastry selection. I've also noticed that the Dublin location tends to have a bit more variety in pastries and slightly better service.

I recently visited Johnny's Donuts at 7355 Village Pkwy, and it didn't disappoint! My favorite donut is the classic raised glaze, and it was fantastic--perfectly light, fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The glaze was smooth and melted in your mouth with every bite. I used to enjoy coming to Johnny's Donuts, but I think they must have changed owners recently. The quality has really gone down -- the donuts are just average now, nothing special. What really shocked me though was the price. I paid over $15 for a half dozen! That's way too expensive for the quality you're getting. Definitely not worth it, and I won't be back. read more

They have fresh, tasty doughnuts always. A great choice for this side of the east bay. I love anything maple & they have a few maple varieties. Since I live somewhat close I frequent this place when having a doughnut needing meltdown. Staff is pleasant, place is decently clean (for a doughnut shop). Will be back next week. read more

Get there early before all chocolate old-fashioned donuts are gone! I've been coming here for 25 years. The donuts are delicious. Just get there early in the morning so they are as fresh as possible... especially if you want a chocolate old-fashion! read more
