This dude shouldn't be at the front line taking orders,who knows how much business he's losing as a result of his public social skills. Placing an order. Speaking with this guy was a very unpleasant experience. The owner needs to record the interaction and reactions of the employees and customers to see what's going in. The food? Fantastic! Couldn't recommend a better place to order a sandwich from. Service not so much. Would have given at least a 4 ,but again customer service skills is lacking here. The sandwich maker with the brown short hair is really nice and pleasant to interact with. Maybe ted Nugent should watch how he interacts with the public. With every bite I experienced so many flavor notes. It was savory, a little sour, vinegary and also a little sweet from the ripe veggies. I have been looking for sun-dried tomato bagels since Western Bagel stopped selling them before the pandemic. So naturally when a friend (who lives in Simi) told me about their availability, I was pleased to have found this place. She ordered the bagels (ahead of time, as is their policy) and dropped them off the next day. Needless to say, I was surprised when the bagels while fresh, didn't have holes and were also quite expensive. I had one (1) right away and found the texture more like a roll and certainly NOT the texture you expect from a bagel. I tried another one today just to try again and came away more dissatisfied. On top of that, there is little sun-dried tomato, other than what seems to be brushed on the top and bottom. I suggest that the bagel bakers go online or back to school to refresh their skills on baking bagels or call them something else. read more

Absolutely love this place! Hands down one of the best bagel shops around. The bagels are always fresh, perfectly chewy on the inside with just the right crust on the outside. I went next and -- this has never happened to me -- as soon as I closed the door I immediately had the urge to vomit. I ran out and exhaled. Gawd it was the most horrid sulfur, rotting flesh, overflowed septic smell ever. So, today is 7 May 2026... if you go there any time soon and think you might need to "go", check in the back before you order. You might want to skip this place til they get their literal shite together!

The service was friendly, but what really stood out was the food and all of the different options on the menu. There was a good variety to choose from, and I liked that most of the menu items had pictures, which made it easier to decide what to order. They even have a full page on the menu dedicated to Mexican specialties, which was a nice touch and gave us even more options to choose from. They also had a great selection of coffee drinks. I ordered the Banana Cold Brew, and it was really good. Overall, the prices were fair, the food was delicious, and I would definitely come back. Our server seem to be really new and not knowing what she was doing. It was frustrating having to ask for everything the whole time. We decided to get the meat lovers skillet, tricolor burrito, fiesta omelette, French toast. I asked for the shredded beef for my tricolor burrito, I also asked for no onions as this was another ingredient with this burrito. When I got my burrito, I thought there was a lot of onions. So I asked the server. She went to the kitchen and asked and was told that the shredded beef comes with onions. I believe that since I had mentioned, I don't want any onions, it would have been great to mention that the shredded beef already has onions so we would have chosen another meat option and not send the dish back to the kitchen. After I received my plate, saw so many onions, decided to mention it to the server and that's when she went back to the kitchen to ask, then realized it has the onions. And when I asked for asada meat, I was told it's extra. All this conversation, the server keeps coming back-and-forth to the kitchen, which was really frustrating. I end up getting the chicken, it was a good option. Our family liked the meat, lovers skillet, and the French toast Food was good however I would not be returning because the service was absolutely horrible
