John is back! Oh how I miss the old Broad St location. When I was young-er (am I old now??), I used to order from John's Deli probably twice a week. I'd alternate between a whole Italian sub with a side of potato salad or cheeseburger and a pint of chili. You can still pick up an excellent sub with the same soft bread, but unfortunately the burgers and chili are gone (for now). I had serious nostalgia during my first bite. Their sub packed with an ample amount of meat and is well constructed. It did not fall apart whatsoever. You'd be surprised how important this is to me. I really hate holding on to meat or tomatoes by the time I reach the end of my sandwich. Breakfast is also available. Of course I went straight for the Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a roll with salt, pepper and ketchup. While good, it's not the best in the area. However, it is $1 (25%) cheaper than the competition! The home fries were basically new potatoes that have been cut in half. While I personally love potatoes and don't mind this, people who are expecting crispy potatoes might be disappointed. Overall, this is a solid local deli. I can see this as my go-to place for Italian subs.

Been there twice since they reopened and both times I had the Super Sub. It was very good with right amount of each cold cut. Place is clean and bright. My only advice is to make the display case look a lil more attractive to customers, make it look more appetizing from the consumer side.

    Bread sandwich.

Breakfast sandwiches are awesome and the kids loved them. Fast service and a clean place to eat. Will defiantly be back to visit John.

The best subs ever. Turkey and provolone... I dream about it. Nice people and an asset to the neighborhood.

Great local deli. They are generous with the meat. Only recommendation - add more bread varieties.

They also have beautiful garden seating. I ordered Turkish coffee, fresh grapefruit juice, Gurmanski dorucak, mini burek with spinach and cheese, and fruit cake. I love Turkish coffee and this was very good. The juice was tart and delicious. The breakfast platter was a showstopper. Two fried eggs, tomato, feta, two meat patties, and homemade bread. The flavors of the meat blew my mind. Who knew that Croatians make the most delicious burgers. This is a hearty and fantastic dish. Also, the burek was flaky and light and not very mini. I took home the cake and enjoyed it later. Light, delicate and not overly sweet, this was a star. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you should stop in for any meal. For the mains, there are several items to choose from and our table had the snicla which is a chicken cutlet sandwich, carne asada sandwich, onaj nas sandwich and a flatbread. The overall table favorite was the snicla, flatbread and onaj nas. We also had two mini burek one with cheese and one with meat and their cevapi. The service is alright, the staff didn't seem to care or come back to check in with the table. The worst part of this is they automatically add a tip regardless of your party size. The ambiance is okay, it has the full European vibe and guest will be sitting outside in the front smoking or in the back smoking. Overall, Cafe Bubamara is a great place for lunch or dinner they have a great selection for dishes from savory to sweet and everything tastes extremely fresh.

There is outdoor and indoor dining but since it was blazing hot out I opted to stay inside in the cool AC. Came for brunch on a Sunday so had to try their sangria. It was really refreshing and perfect for a warm day. For entrees, we ordered the short rib hash, chicken and waffles, and the steak and eggs. I had a little of each, but my favorite was the short rib hash. Great flavor and the sauce was fantastic. The steak had a perfect cook on it, and the fried chicken was crispy and flavorful as well. The server was friendly and extremely attentive. He recommended a good dessert which we ended up splitting. When in doubt go with the chocolate brownie Esther vanilla ice cream !

We didn't have a reservation, but they were still able to seat us in the dining room as long as we could wrap up before 1:30, which we appreciated. I wasn't super hungry so we shared the crispy cauliflower and lamb ribs from the appetizer menu. The crispy cauliflower was excellent -- hot, actually crispy, and not drowning in sauce which I really appreciated. The lamb ribs came over labneh (a yogurt base) and the first plate arrived with the lamb cold. I asked our waitress if that was intentional and she said only the labneh should be cold. They immediately replaced it with a fresh order and handled it really well, which I appreciated. Great service recovery and overall a really enjoyable brunch spot with a lively atmosphere.

Place is welcoming and had nice natural lighting. We got their Huevos Rancheros, roasted chicken, tuna chaufa and lomo saltado. everything was great - good portions and beautiful flavors! Especially loved their Earl Grey latte too. the flavors of tea and espresso were very well balanced I would love to get that drink again. Also got their smores cookie for a nice sweet ending. My friend and I asked if they sell pan con chicharrón, and though they don't have it on the menu, the chef (Brian) said he'd make it for us! First impression of the service ... amazing. We got the pan con chicharrón and I truly almost cried! I have not had one as delicious as this one in Jersey! The pork was tender, yet nicely fried, and there was not as much fat on it which is always hard as the fat gives it the flavor but too much can be overpowering. After talking to the chef, he mentioned that it is no longer on the menu because people didn't really order it ... so here I am, asking you all to go in and order it, so it can hopefully go back on the menu and everyone can try authentic and delicious Peruvian breakfast!! HUGE shoutout to Brian for creating something that brought both me and my friend a true sense of home
