After spending more than $1500 on this crappy microwave, I vowed not to use the Sharp repair program ($300-400) or any Sharp affiliated appliance repair companies. However, I could not find any replacement built-in microwaves of the same size. Through many months of phone calls and emails, I was finally able to receive the replacement part (magnetron) covered under the 5-year magnetron warranty. Labor was not included in this parts warranty. I called a few appliance repair companies. One said they do not service microwave. Then, I was able to schedule with Urban and Denis gave me a verbal quote over the phone ($275). I usually price compare, but I felt this was a pretty reasonable price so we scheduled for a site visit just a few days later. Marat came to do the repair and within 1 hour we had a working microwave again! So the moral of my story is that I'll never buy anything from Sharp again, but I will not hesitate to call Urban again for my appliance repair needs :)

Someone was supposed to come last Thursday never showed I thought to wait all day the next day. By the way when I made the appointment I selected the afternoon because I don't sleep well. I spoke to someone named David on Friday afternoon who told me he called Friday morning and I didn't answer the phone so he left a voice message to see if he could have come that morning. I don't fall asleep until 4-5 o'clock and I made Technitran aware when my fridge first broke. There is a lot more that occurred and I was supposed to have someone come here to add stuff to make the fridge cold again. There is so much more to tell. I will never buy from Pacific Sales again. I would give the sales and shopping experience a 5 star review. The sales team there was simply great. Having the online component with Best Buy is really handy for research and then going into the store to finalize things. Pricing was very competitive and best we could find in the area. The install was mostly good. We had some back n forth with one installer and ultimately all the work got done. Just felt like the first installer was being lazy and didn't want to finish the job properly. Of course they outsource the actual install to a local crew and so proper way to enforce things. All in all great, experience and would definitely use them again.

I have been going to the Best Buy on Mandela Parkway on and off for more than a decade. The store…read morehas changed a lot over the years. Before COVID, it was an easy five-star experience: well staffed, knowledgeable, and smooth. These days it is not quite as sharp as it used to be, but it is still a solid, useful electronics store. I bought my last monitor and keyboard here and both purchases worked out well. In each case I checked online for sales first, then went in so I could see the products in person. Having a physical place to look at gear and make returns is genuinely valuable. The sales staff I dealt with were friendly and clearly wanted to help. At the same time they came across a bit underprepared on the details. I would describe them as well meaning but not especially well informed. That can feel slightly annoying when you are trying to make a bigger purchase. For that reason, I strongly recommend doing your own research before heading in. Know what you want and know the current deals. The store is great for accessories and smaller items. For a desktop computer, I would be hesitant to rely on in store guidance alone. One bright spot: I got an excellent deal on a Lenovo laptop here, and again, it was nice to see it in person and have an easy return option if something went wrong.

Sold an "Excellent" open-box TV that was incomplete, then made the problem mine…read more I purchased an open-box Samsung 77" S95F from Best Buy listed in Excellent condition. After getting it home, I discovered it was missing major components, including the longer One Connect cable, screws for the TV stand, and even screws associated with the rear housing of the TV. That is not what most reasonable people would consider "Excellent." This wasn't a small missing accessory. The TV was materially incomplete and not as advertised. What made the experience much worse was what happened next. This is a very large TV, well over 75 pounds, and I had already paid for Uber XL transportation to get it home. I contacted Best Buy expecting a practical solution for a problem caused by their own quality control and open-box inspection process. Instead, I was told over and over to bring it back to the store, return it online, or exchange it if inventory allowed. No real ownership, no meaningful escalation, no pickup solution, and no answer on reimbursement for the cost and burden of transporting a 77-inch TV because Best Buy failed to verify what they were selling. The most frustrating part was that their support team acknowledged that returning a TV this size was unreasonable, but still kept repeating the same canned answer. I asked for escalation, asked for management, asked for a real resolution, and ultimately got nowhere. The chat was effectively ended without the issue being solved. When a store sells an open-box item in "Excellent" condition, the customer should be able to trust that it is complete and properly checked. That didn't happen here. This was a failure in QA, a failure in listing accuracy, and a failure in customer service. I'm leaving this review because this situation should have been handled far better, and because I'd still like someone in management to step in and make this right.

It was a no-pressure, informative approach that I appreciate when you're dealing with something you don't know anything about. Mark was calm, friendly, approachable and professional. He clearly explained and showed me what the issue was, how it happens, and how to properly maintain the dryer going forward. He cleaned up after himself (which I appreciate) and I was left with an almost new dryer! Hoping I won't need to but will definitely be reaching out again when the next appliance goes out!

He showed up when he said he would and communicated with me throughout. I am currently renting out my house and not residing there, so good communication was particularly important. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the dryer. The dishwasher was more complex. Again, he communicated with me on a regular basis. When it looked like the repairs would be expensive, he walked through the options with me and showed that a replacement would likely be the better choice, even though he would have made money off the repair. In the end, I did choose to replace it and Bo didn't charge me for the time he spent working on the dishwasher. I would definitely use Zuta again. Some of the qualities I liked about the experience was Bo's competence, honesty, reliability, good communication, and the quality of his work.
