Decent shave ice if you're in the area. Service was very fast. The store has outdoor seating only. The best one was the Tropical Breeze. It has mango, Lilikoi, and guava I believe. I'd try other shave ice places before you goto this location.

Yum! Needed a bit of a refresher on a muggy day! Shaved ice sure did hit the spot. Not as good as Ululani's but good! The girls were very helpful in picking their top customer fav. The ice was soft, vanilla ice cream yummy and syrup very flavorful! Since it's just a walk up located at the coconut marketplace there wasn't really any dedicated seating. But there was seating and the grassy area was very pleasant!

Love the ice cream in the middle. All the shaved ice was very soft. Flavors are very noticeable. Portion sizes are sufficient. Staff is very nice and patient. There's seating outdoor nearby. This is located in the Coconut Marketplace, whereas there's lots of parking. This was our first time here and won't be our last.

I heard this was a big name for shaved ice in Hawaii, so I had to try it before I left. I got the Tropical Breeze (small, local style), and it was delicious. They didn't charge me for the local style upgrade and even charged $1 less than what was listed on the menu, which was a nice surprise. This place has many locations here on Kauai. I will say they have the best shave ice on this island. This is for the location in Coconut Marketplace. This place has about 3 tables around it. Crowded around 2pm so tables were all taken. There is a nice grassy area you can sit at though not too far from the place. Not that much shaded areas outside from the table areas.

Jojo's shave ice was the perfect treat on a sunny Kauai evening. I ordered the Hawaiian Breeze, a perfectly sweet mixture of guava, lilikoi, and mango syrups atop a super-fine bed of shave ice. The macadamia nut ice cream on the bottom was so refreshing, and the haupia topping was creamy and delicious. Conveniently located at Coconut Marketplace, it was an easy walk from our resort. Jojo's will definitely be my go-to on my next Kauai adventure!

The folks at Jojo's were really nice! The line moves quick and we got our shave ice decently quick. There's a couple tables, and seating around the plaza. Jojo's shave ice grew on me as I ate through my first cup. Hear me out- shave ice with the macadamia nut ice cream hits way harder than just shave ice alone. We got the tropical breeze to share because it's actually really big scoops. At first it was okay, but I should've gotten a little shave ice in the spoon with the ice cream. As soon as I hit the ice cream on the bottom, it was way better! I highly recommend trying it out and it will hit so hard after a day in the hot sun! It's pretty big though, I'd share.

They say it's the best shaved ice spot in town, and it did not disappoint! I got a coffee-flavored one if I remember correctly? Whatever I got, it was delicious. Maybe not the best shaved ice spot I had been to during my time in Hawaii but maybe that's because I like spots more off the beaten path. This one is popular for good reason I guess, and has an awesomely expansive offering of flavors. Long line but quick service!

Great flavors! Icy on top and creamy at the bottom. Nice treat on a late afternoon. Staff recommended the tropical breeze, which has a great balance of tropical flavors. Friendly staff. My eyes lit up when I saw the distinct sign from our hotel next door (Kauai Shores). This is trouble lol. Got to try other flavors next time. Great place to hangout. Jojo's Shave Ice is located at the Coconut Marketplace in Kapa'a. They have a lot of flavors to choose from, staff picks & you can also customize your own. We went with the Colada Special which comes with macadamia nut ice cream at the bottom and our daughter got Cherry, Watermelon & Strawberry with vanilla ice cream. There are tables outside. The shave ice is a little more smoother than the icy sno-cone types but it is not the soft ice either. The star was the macadamia nut ice cream! It was so good! Creamy and macadamia nuts in each bite. I would go back just for the ice cream but not the shave ice. I personally prefer the soft and creamy kind.

Been wanting to get shave ice for a while. After dinner we headed down to Jojos. Very convenient! I ordered number 2, which came with three tropical flavors, macadamia ice cream and coconut flavored topping. It was delicious and hit the spot. We need to come here more often. One employee there, needed at least two. Had to wait a while to order while guy made the shave ices. He did a great job. Very friendly and efficient. Not able to get a paper receipt. Quick service great value for a tasty treat. I've been to many shave ice places on all the islands. To be honest, Jojo is not my all-time favorite, but it's in the top 5. It still have an old school feel, the ice is soft fluffy but not like the snow style, the flavors are standard artificial-types, but I don't mind it at all. The hapia cream on top is a bit too sweet and too artificial for coconut flavor. Other than that, this place is very standard for shave ice island style. read more

The two ladies (blonde and brunette) working were on another planet. Belting Disney songs at the top of their lungs as if they were singing in the shower, didn't greet us at all i felt as if i was intruding their karaoke session. I spat my order out in between verses and she sounded very annoyed that she had to take a break to take my order. It was very bizarre and uncomfortable. read more

The only thing you need to know about Jojo's is that they serve HUGE portions! That being said it is all sugar water...I guess I am biased towards the natural stuff. This location is next to a nice park where the kids can run around and there is good ambiance. read more

Absolutely delicious! I got the small shaved ice with the cherry, lime, and watermelon flavors. The syrups were sweet and fruity. I especially enjoyed the lime one! I also added vanilla ice cream to my shaved ice and it was a yummy addition. read more

I had just one other shave ice from a different vendor and it did not compare to Jojo's! This is the best shave ice I've ever had! It's like eating snowflakes from the sky but sweetened with delicious syrup and ice cream (if you want) at the bottom. I highly recommend! read more

I love that this is one of the shave ice places that says they use all natural ingredients. We went to 3 shave ice places so far (Uncle's and Waikamo). This was our favorite. They have 34* flavors and you can choose up to 4 flavors. They have a variety of ice cream filling and toppings. They have some pre-designed ones as well. It was so fluffy and soft. Nice service and the estimated wait time they provide when you order was very accurate (there was a crowd when I went and they told me 25 minutes around 7PM). Unfortunately this was by far the worst shaved ice I had on my trip over Kauai/Oahu. I'm not sure if its the ice or what, but I got the Fruity Special and by the time I walked to the table about 50 feet away most of the syrup had started sinking into the bottom of the cup, leaving me with just ice on the top and also in the middle (see picture). The staff were happy to add more syrup for me when requested but that didn't help at all as the added syrup also went to the bottom of the cup and overflowed the cup. I ended up tossing the whole thing. I also had JoJo's at the Hanalei location and that was a better experience there so not sure if their quality varies by location. read more

Great first shaved ice experience. How to describe how this tastes? Sort of like a snow cone but lighter- almost like fresh flavored snow. I had the berry flavor which consisted of a vanilla ice cream base and the shaved ice with 3 berry flavors. Totally delicious. My non dairy eating husband appreciated that you can create your own ice with your own flavors sans ice cream. Both were totally delicious and refreshing after a long hike. Classic delicious shaved ice. There premade ones come with vanilla or macadamia ice cream but I prefer just simple shaved ice. Delicious syrupy goodness. If you do get the icecream ones, the bottom is the icecream and the top is the shaved ice. Quick service and the place is always busy with people coming for a quick fix. There is parking on the sides of the road. As well as seating outside for you to enjoy! read more

A large is still larger than two people can eat! Holy Moly it was delicious though, and a convenient quick walk from the Kauai Shores hotel. Located in the center of the coconut shopping center, JoJo's is a refreshing little shack with yummy treats. There are tables with umbrellas and chairs to sit at and slowly plug away at your giant shave ice treat. The consistency of the ice is pleasing to the palate and the flavored syrups are full and not watered down. There are plenty of combinations listed that you can order, or make one up on your own. I completely forgot about the macadamia nut ice cream towards the end and boy was that an amazing treat! If there area a lot of folks ordering it can be a little bit of a wait since there is generally just one person working, but it's well worth the wait. I'm pretty sure we came here twice. Maybe three times? I forget. I ate shave ice every day on our trip and anyone else should too. It's basically the best valued and most refreshing treat one can find on the island. read more

Friendly and efficient with the order! My son dropped some of his shaved ice on the table and a staff member saw how disappointed he was and brought him a new shaved ice with the same flavor at no charge. It's located in the middle of a cute mall that has restaurants and shops. Has some seating with umbrellas. read more

My first shave ice! It was soooo tasty! My partner got the lilo and stitch and ate it all up (I regret not trying a bite ) but mine was so good I forgot to ask! I custom made my own with 4 flavors and they all still had their distinctive taste and didn't get muddled. Highly recommend you get the macadamia ice cream. It has bits of crushed nuts which gives good texture. 10/10 would return. Ps you probably could get away with sharing the small size with 2 people but why would you read more

It was the fluffiest and lightest yet savoriest coconut shaved ice with condensed milk drizzled on top and underneath the ice was a scoop of macadamia ice cream with nuts and flavored ribbon. I've tried several shave ice places on Kauai, and this is my favorite. The portions are huge, and I love the macadamia nut ice cream under the shave ice. The flavors are great, however my only complaint is sometimes they don't put enough syrups on top to thoroughly saturate the ice. read more

This place has huge portions and an AMAZING cotton candy flavor!! I always get the small and it's more than enough! I tried both Mac nut and vanilla ice cream with it.
