Jollibee chickens is not disappointing and along with their other food they have on the menu . I love their fried chicken, it's not dry at all . Their spaghetti also flavorful, but wish they add more hotdogs. The service is not so great. Why ? They have lots of worker in the front line , yet they stand there and talk and they take a long time to prepare your meal . Literally, we stood to see how long these kids chattering and not paying attention to put the customers meal in the bucket and move on to the next . The interior is nice and clean . Whether it's my family or friends, we always stop at Jollibee if it's on the way home from a trip! Honestly, I'm somewhat of a picky eater so my order is usually just the chicken, gravy, and rice. The pineapple juice is really refreshing (tastes like juice straight out of the can if that's what you like). Employees are friendly and the food comes out pretty fast. Saw another review mentioning this, but the men's restroom is actually on the OTHER side (that area is blocked off for some reason). I always end up getting their Filipino Spaghetti w/ two pieces of chickenjoy. I always ask for two drum sticks since those are my fave! Filipino Spaghetti is sweeter than traditional spaghetti because it is made with banana ketchup (don't knock it until you try it TRUST ME). They also top it with cheese and there are hot dogs imbedded in the spaghetti itself. It's so good alongside the chicken. The outside is crunchy but not too much breading. I just watched a Jollibee video review from one of my favorite food vloggers (Emmymade). She gave it a thumbs up, but since she is based on the East Coast I wasn't expecting that there would be a location nearby ... but I Googled anyway and lo and behold there is a location in East San Jose. No location in Colorado, of course, where the most exciting "new" fast food runs along the lines of Shake Shack and In-N-Out (yeah, overrated and boring). So, since it is my last full day visiting family in the 408 I rather impulsively shot off a Door Dash order (I know, it's a rip off ... I did try to order directly from Jollibee but apparently my mom's house is outside their delivery area). I tried 2 of the things Emmy recommended ... the pancit (which goes by a different name that I forget ... something having to do with fiesta) and the peach mango pie. I really enjoyed both! The pancit has a lovely, garlic-forward sauce and is garnished with ground pork, a few little shrimp, and a couple of hard-boiled egg slices. I ordered extra sauce on a whim, and was glad that I did - I think otherwise the noodle to sauce ratio is tilted a bit too much toward noodles, and where is the joy in noodles lacking sauce? The peach mango pie was reminiscent of an old school McDonald's apple pie with a less greasy crust and better tasting fruit. I'm a fan! My brother later told me that you can also sometimes get an ube pie, and I would have liked to have been able to order the pineapple quencher but alas it was not available through Door Dash. I'll have to give them a try, perhaps along with the Aloha burger or some fried chicken (also getting a thumbs-up from Emmymade) the next time I am out for a visit. read more

I was having a fried chicken craving after going on a hike (I know, weird right?) and ended up at Jollibees with my friend. I had heard of this palce for a while but never had the chance to try it, which was awesome! When we got there around 1:30ish there was a line but when we finally got to the front we ended up ordering: *10 piece bucket (which came with gravy and 3 regular sides) - this was delicious, the chicken was crispy and crunchy as well as very juicy. We also got the adobo rice (i'd skip next time), fries (okay) and mashed potatoes with gravy (delicious). My favorite was the gravy which I used the chicken to dip into alot. We also got the pineapple juice which was super refreshing and the peach mango pie which i surprisingly loveeeed. Loved how crispy the outside was and gooey on the inside. Finally had a chance to try this famous chain. We got there around noon on Monday and it was quite packed. Very crowded inside with people ordering and waiting for food. Tried to find a table, most of them were dirty and some chair had rice on them. There was somebody cleaning later on but didn't see anybody cleaning when we tried to get a table. We ordered spicy chicken sandwich combo and a bucket of spicy fried chicken. Some chicken were dry and some weren't. Fries were not impressive :( also the peach mango pie wasn't great either. jollibee is nostalgic for me since it's been a happy food place since I was a young one. Our go-to's are crispy fried chicken and gravy, and noodles (Spaghetti) in sweet spaghetti sauce and cheese, yes cheese. Lots of sweet tomato sauce and cheese bathed in noodles. And sliced wieners which I don't care for but it's easy to put them on the side. I don't know why I haven't taken a photo of this yet. We have this meal about once a month at least. *shrug. The food is okay really has gone up lately. A regular meal is $10+ now at least. Then the employees. My goodness they can be a hit or miss. Sometimes they get order wrong by not including simple things like straw or napkins and other times they flat out suck at hearing you and give you wrong order when you order clearly. It happens like all the time. Sucks cuz I am a huge fan of the chicken. And the next closest jollibee is milpitas. If I could give no stars for the service I would. Yummy! Filipino fast food cuisine! I know what most people might be thinking.. the menu has some odd food combos Lolol. Like Filipino spaghetti, palabok w/ fried chicken, burger steak and rice, etc. But let me just say that it works deliciously! Jollibee is known for its infamous chickenjoy (crispy fried chicken). It is like the Filipino version of KFC, but might I add chickenjoy has that hearty feel that KFC doesn't have. What I mean is, the service is amazing, and to all my fellow Filipinos: you feel at home. The familiar tastes of Filipino cuisine come back to us..and is also a goos introduction for those who want a lil insight on Filipino food with a fast food fusion feel. I recommend getting the bucket of chicken because it's a great deal for how much you get if you're sharing with a big group, or for a single person- get the 1-2 chicken w/ palabok or rice and gravy! YO for all my life, coworkers, friends kept encouraging me to check them out. Finally got the chance to check this off my bucketlist. We ordered the Bucket of Chickenjoy, Mango Pies, Palabok Fiesta Noodles and EXTRA gravy. The Chicken drums and breast were incredibly juicy and tender, the meat literally FELL OFF the bone. The deep fried mango pies were good--the closest you can get from Japan and China's McDonalds. Fiesta Noodles had a nice seafood smell and taste was on point. I came here with my friend since he was craving the fried chicken here. We went on a Sunday (coincidentally it was Cinco de Mayo) probably around 12:15pm and there were a lot of people here. Parking was plentiful and shouldn't be an issue. I ordered the 1-piece Chickenjoy with Jollibee Spaghetti ($7.99), the Chicken Sandwich Deluxe ($4.99), 2-piece Burgersteak with 1 side ($5.49), and a Halo-Halo ($5.49). I was trying as much as I can to see what was good and what was not good. The 1-piece Chickenjoy with Jollibee Spaghetti was okay. The Jollibee Spaghetti was different than what I was used to since it was on the sweet side. The gravy made the Chickenjoy taste better in my opinion. The Chicken Sandwich Deluxe was just okay to me and again was better when I added the gravy. The 2-piece Burgersteak with 1 side was okay to me. I used to think that Jollibee's SPICY Fried Chicken was the best "fast food" fried chicken on Earth. That was when they put their special chili powder on top of their fried chicken. You could always ask for extra chili powder & they'd give it to you! The flavoring of that chili powder was phenomenal! Unfortunately, a couple of years or so ago, they discontinued the chili powder. Instead, they opted to mix the chili into the batter. This option was not as good (less flavorful), but still edible. That was before. Today, I went & bought a 10-piece bucket for $20. I asked for spicy...and what I got was some of the most disgusting chicken I've ever had. Not only was it dry, but it was about as spicy as white bread topped with white rice. I'm so traumatized by the lack of flavor that I don't think I'll be eating fried chicken again for about a year or so. They were very patient with me and made sure my order was done right. Tried a bunch of different things this time from the hotdog, chicken, spaghetti, and the mango pies! I think their mango pies are pretty amazing to be honest! I really enjoyed the burger I had last time and would probably get that if I were to go there again. Hotdog was really tasty, but small. Never really had a bad time here. The food I receive is always correct from what I ordered. The chicken is always crispy and juicy. The spaghetti is always sweet and warm. If anybody is wondering during these trying times, you are still able to come here and order. The only difference is that the entrance is near the register, and you have to leave through another door (I assume if there's a lot of people). Sometimes, there's a line and you just wait to wait a bit. Understandable. You can also call in an order and order online, but I am yet to try any of these options during the time I am writing his review. Nice place, and for a fast food joint, pretty good.
