Another one of my "Go To" places in Cool Springs, where there are more fern bars than traffic lights. The pizza here is fantastic. In-house made crust, I do believe. Try the Cajun pepperoni sometime. They also have great salads. I sometimes just get the House Salad (only $6.50 unless you add meat). It's a big portion and thier ranch dressing is delicious. Ask for an extra roll. Tara's Wings, hot, are some of the best around. 2 for 1 beers on Sundays and Tuesdays. 2 for 1 pizzas on Tuesdays. Ladies night on Wednesday. Half price bottles of wine and $10 large one-topping pizzas on Sundays They have the NFL package and bar is a great place to watch your game. You will get top-notch service at the bar. Most of the bartenders have been there over 5 years. Professionals all. This is just an over-all cool and casual place with good food, reasonable prices and great service. (By the way, the Sunday wine thing is cool. There is a little known local loophole which allows you to leave the restaurant with a bottle of wine as long as it has been opened and the cork is stuck back in. Ah, the wonderful and always logical TN liquor laws. Jonathan's is probably the best sports bar in the Franklin--Cool Springs area because it has the biggest selection of flatscreens and other tvs to watch the game or race of your choice. There's a nice outside patio area that's a big hit in the spring/summer and fall months. The staff is very friendly and the food is above average. read more

I was in Franklin for work and we took a large group to Jonathan's Grille to watch the first game of the World Series. I read a few reviews beforehand, but I have to disagree with some. Our waitress was the sweetest southern woman and I thought we got great service considering our group size. I tried the black bean veggie burger which came with steamed vegetables on the side. My burger was delicious; the only thing I'd recommend is asking for some kind of sauce on the side. I went with ketchup and it wasn't an amazing combination with the avocado. Food was fine however the server was argumentative, slammed drinks on the table, and then disappeared and we had to request our check from another server. At that point our server argued about splitting our check even though we have done that dozens of times. Finally it was done but not without sarcasm and talking down to us as if we were stupid. Over Jonathan's. It seems all they do is hire teenagers who have no idea how to provide good customer service. My office typically comes in here on Tuesdays for the buy one get one pizza deal. We typically all get it for about 6bucks each. I recommend the nacho and chicken Alfredo pizzas. The Cajun pepperoni was the most disappointing but still even a meh pizza is still pizza. The only reason I didn't give this a five star rating is the service is almost always terrible. It's always a woman who has the personality of wet cardboard waiting on us and half the time we run out of drinks. Great place to watch a game. Good drink specials, particularly the 2-for-1 beers on NFL Sundays. However, the food is poor value, and there is not a good mid-range pricing option for appetizers or small bites. Tried out Jonathan's when I was in town on a business trip. They deliver to the nearby hotels for a $4 charge. Ordered dinner from here both nights- chicken tostada salad one night and French onion soup with a baked potato the 2nd night. This was possibly the worst meal I've had. There were 4 of us and none of our food was done. All of the dishes had to be sent back to be cooked - wings were raw, baked potato was cold, burger wasn't cooked and the pizza was dough. I stopped in Franklin Tennessee on my way to Gulf Shores Alabama. I stayed at Country Suites & Inn,, so l was looking for a bar in walking distance. that would be Jonathan's Grille. Food was way above average atmosphere was way above average Decorah way above average but the bartender,,,,,, SUPERIOR!!!! WAYNE,,, was/is EVERYTHING you want your bartender to be and then some! When I first got there I thought wow this guy ISL ATTENTIVE! But as the night went on I took notice that the the regulars new Wes by name,, and hugs and handshakes followed! So I Tend to be a Positive Person This building was overbuilt for parking I had to park at clinic next door. Got in pretty quick 8 pm Friday night We were seated by the kitchen and server station Refuse to sit there if I ever go again. The Fajita nachos app was ice cold they brought a second one it was also not heated. The fruit bowl I ordered had little bugs emerge when I got to the pineapple at the bottom I ordered the prime rib Apparently they were short on it passed off a piece of uncooked rare as medium I sent back and they came back with a microwaved undercooked steak The manager said that was medium I asked for med well then Third plate came out prepared to medium frys were redrop in oil I paid my 55.oo Tab tipped 10 and left Won't say one thing This place should change the name to Jonathan's Bar The food sucked The atmosphere is loud no place to have a nice dinner. This has been our regular stop for years. Never had bad food here. The Cajun pepperoni pizza is our favorite, but the sandwiches and salads are also good (Turkey Avocado, Larry Bird, Signature Salad stand out). We eat at Jonathan's of cool springs and spring hill on a regular basis. We asked tonight that the pizza be cut square as it use to be simply because it tastes better in my opinion. The floor manager did not want to remake the pizza simply offered a discount be the the pizza was cut the new way in slices. It is a sports themed bar, so be ready for that. Many many TV's. If that is what you're looking for, you've got it. Good food, I had pulled pork tacos and they were flavorful, with a decent kick of spice. Love the happy hour special. I had a good time here with friends, and would return. I went there last night as we were spending the night in Franklin. We ordered an appetizer, a couple beers, and two entrees. The chips for the queso seemed like they were pulled out of a bag of Tostitos. It took about 10 minutes for the first beer to arrive, and the beer was incorrect. The entrees came out and the vegetables were missing from one plate and the Fish and Chips was missing the side salad. The entrees were good, but the sides were missing. Then when the check came the mistaken beer was on the tab. They fixed it no problem. read more

This was my first time visiting this place for lunch. I went with a few co workers. In brief they have a huge menu with wide variety of food to choose from. Many big screen TVs all around perfect for sports fans. They are very busy during lunch time, make sure you have plenty of time. Very solid. Our party of four had 2 burgers, a Philly cheese and a sausage-pepp-mushroom pizza. In the interest of a good review, I sampled the burger, Philly and pizza. You know, integrity and all. Everything was very good, the pizza and a few onion rings I had being the standouts. A HUGE menu. You could eat here 30-40 times and not have the same thing. Beer menu is large and pretty diverse. I am staying at the A loft nearby and they were able to deliver. I ordered two nights in a row. I really appreciated the person I talked to on the phone tonight. I asked her opinion on some items and she was very helpful. Yesterday, I tried the fish tacos with the appetizer Big Dipper (includes guacamole with salsa) both were very good! Today I tried the chicken tacos, pepperoni rolls and chocolate cake. Even though everything was delivered it all looked great and more importantly tasted great. I recommend this restaurant for delivery! The only dilemma I have is with tipping - I don't think you have to because of the 4 dollar deliver charge but I felt compelled to tip extra. read more

When unmentioned it to the server, he argued with me that it wasn't his fault that he served us incorrectly. He yelled at me and left.
