We came here twice on our MTK bachelorette weekend, it looks so cute from the outside and the menu looks fab. Plus, they have coolers of everything from reg water to organic coconut and everything in between. Their menu is extensive - build your own breakfast sandwiches and wraps, DOZENS of smoothies, coffee, and lunch sandwiches too. Everything sounds and looks really good and fresh. I'm not sure if they were just extremely overwhelmed when we went, but from the sounds of it this place is always like that so its not much of an excuse. We ordered a bacon, egg, cheese, and avocado on a toasted bagel (yum) but after 15 minutes our sandwich came not toasted and without bacon....major disappointment for a hangover breakfast! We tried again the next day and my chicken sandwich was pretty delish, but the wait was even longer and they gave me the wrong food twice before I got my sandwich. Unfortunately lots of people were getting the wrong food and mistakes over and over, it seems like maybe they need more staffing or a more manageable menu for the girls at the counter to work with! The food was good, if you happened to get any version of what you ordered. I'd maybe give it another try just because it was fresh and healthy. P.S. - breakfast sandwich bagel + a bottle of water was over $10, so this isn't your money-savvy stop to say the least! read more

I wish I could leave a good review because of their delicious breakfast options, but with the current ordering/waiting situation I cannot. Their online ordering service is simply not up to par. I placed an order and waited 55 minutes for it to be ready. They were very apologetic and gave my friend and I banana bread (which was delicious) but the system needs work. My team at work recently had a corporate offsite in Montauk and we used Joni's for our breakfast and lunch catering. The food was INCREDIBLE, so fresh and delicious! Huge shout out to Lana who delivered our food everyday. She is so kind, quick and punctual! Made sure that we were always fully stocked with coffee and set up the food in a beautiful display. We ordered fruit, eggs, bacon, yogurt, granola, and bagels for breakfast and an array of wraps and salads for lunch. The entire group loved everything! My personal favorite was the chicken curry wrap! We were going to get lunch by another restaurant one day, and last minute changed to Joni's. Went there last week and it cost $15 for my egg sandwich, I didn't even get a drink with it!! Will never go back. Place is a total ripoff and the food was bland. This is a really cute place to get breakfast before spending time walking around town. I created my own breakfast wrap and it was quite good, and my friends enjoyed their wide variety of smoothies. The only downside to the place is that it gets super crowded so it's tough to find seats and since the restaurant is so small it's always just packed with people, but i'd definitely come back again. read more

I've given Joni's so many chances but today was the last straw. Long story short I ordered a 4 ingredient basic smoothie and it was $17. I cancelled the order told them it was ridiculous and walked out. My sister ordered a coffee which was full of coffee grounds and my mom couldn't even stomach drinking hers. First time experience here. July 4th breakfast at Joni's was fantastic!!! The food is fresh and delicious. The service was great and quick. The smoothies are beyond compare...cold, creamy and fruity. The coffee will wake you up and sooth your morning. The many choices will make your head spin. The decor is very inviting. So much to look at! Love that hip, cool and sexy t-shirt! Buy a few! And there is Joni making it all happen for her customers' dining pleasure and experience. The owner is right there making the customer happy. How special! Like most places in Montauk, Joni's is overpriced but offered healthy selections of wraps, yogurts and the like. Hubby and I ordered two different breakfast wraps and went next door for a coffee while we waited for our order to be ready. It took longer than I expected for off season, but we finally got our food and sat inside since the outdoor tables were taken. Our wraps were decent, but slightly underwhelming. I guess my expectations were too high considering the rave reviews from other customers. It's not but it's not great either. Just OK in my book. read more

I have unfortunately wasted my money here many times after living in montauk for multiple summers. After Bliss closed this summer, I came back because there were not other breakfast places in the area besides Goldbergs. Joni and her staff are not friendly, the food is over priced, the breakfasts wraps are extremely small, and the smoothies are consistently completely melted liquid. It also takes at least 30 minutes to get your food on a Saturday. Unfortunately would never recommend this place to anyone. Goldberg's and Bluestone lane breakfast over Jonis any day. read more

Today I came to order but the cashier or probably the business owner was on the phone call while she was processing my order. From my professional point of view, she was super rude to me when she did that. No need a table service but at least take the order of customer first and then do your thing. Also, I gave it a try couple times this summer and food wasn't that tasty and got always a little side of salad, let's say it's few pieces of carots and greens. I have been going to Joanie's for years since I live in Montauk during the summer. It used to be better, but in the last few years it has gone so down hill. The last couple of times I have been there have been awful. Last week I ordered the hummus in a wrap and it was so small and mainly stuffed with just lettuce. My daughter ordered a Frisbee cheese quesadilla. After waiting 30 minutes for it, they made the wrong order and I had to send it back. More waiting. The wait time is way too long and the prices are way too high. Sorry Joanie- but you need to improve asap. There are so many other places to go now in Montauk. read more

My go to spot in Montauk... We are there at least four times a week when we're in town. Great for a grab and go meal or sit at the seats outside. My seven year old daughter loves the kids menu; organic hotdogs, quesadilla, chicken, egg wraps... The have a terrific snack corner, perfect for keeping the kiddos sweet tooth or crunchy cravings at bay. I love the fresh salads, wraps, juices and smoothies. Staff is friendly and human (sometimes lacking at other places during the summer season) And everything is organic and/or GMO free. read more

Delicious food (and mostly organic!), with cute picnic benches outside. Go early though, because it gets crowded. Only negative is it is a little pricey ($30 for two people for two drinks (skip the coffee) and two breakfast sandwiches, but what place in Montauk isn't? Definitely a place not to be missed. Joni's is a great place to grab a snack right near the beach. Like everything else in Montauk, it is not on the cheap side, but things aren't outrageous. This place is truly a joke....when I ordered - the girl wasn't even paying attention at all, no smiles, no passion. When my order was ready, the other girl who worked there gave me the wrong sandwich, I took it and then realized it was wrong one. She kind of stared at me blindly and then gave me the right one eventually.....I took 2 bites of it and just left it on the counter and departed. I have multiple food allergies. Joni's was able to accommodate all of them. I recently stayed in MTK for 5 days and I ate breakfast there all five days. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. Walked to Joni's from our hotel for a quick, satisfying breakfast and instead spent $32 for two terrible egg "sandwiches" and two iced coffees. The sandwiches were tiny and my boyfriend's sausage egg and cheese had barely ANY sausage on it for $9.50. Such a joke.
