It is a bit cluttered in the space. However, inside you will be greeted by the most beautifully crafted pastries of all shapes and colors. The craftsmanship of each pastry lends to a hand with utmost steadiness and preciseness. The also sell fantastic Japanese Soufflé Pancakes - they take time to make so plan for at least 30 minutes wait up to an hour on weekends. I picked out four of the pastries and the tiramisu. The pastries were all fresh and delightful in flavor. The lavender one was my absolute favorite - subtle yet flavorful. The tiramisu was a bit strong for me. Everything else was fantastic. Super super reasonable prices considering the quality.

The treats from here are always so fresh and make my heart smile. The macarons are my husband's favorite since he doesn't like chocolate or cheesecake. I grabbed him a Ube cookie. We're heading to Ashland, but we stopped in Beaverton for a quick lunch. As we're driving around…read morefor a parking spot, I saw something on the window, 'chicken'. I thought we'd go there for some to-go, and hubby found a parking spot, just around the corner, in the shade. As he was turning right, I also spotted a 'bakery' written on the window. I was thinking of waiting for him, in the car, and just grab a chicken sandwich. But, after he left, I decided to go inside the bakery to browse. He was standing at the corner, reading the menu of the shop, when I called him to 'Come over here!' I didn't know what I just walked in. Ooddles & oodles of cookies, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, like a one-stop bakery, cafe to-go. I started to take a video, of the whole shop, but sadly, as I turned it off, I realized I was just turning it ON! Instead of buying one sandwich for each of us, we ended up buying 4 of our 'look scrumptious' pastries that could fill us up. (Photos are not good quality, because I thought I was video-taping it. That's the result!) We each shared everything! We both agreed, it was probably one of the best lunches we've eaten. The pastry were still warm, the cheese in our ham was melting in your mouth. The spinach was just out of the oven. Everything was just wonderful! We will surely stop by here again, and buy twice as much, should last us a week. Maybe freeze some, so when we are tempted for some pastry, we are ready!

My family came in needing to buy slices of cake we were ready to purchase and a line was forming and we were the first in line yet the workers were just standing in the back behind the cakes chatting. No one paid ANYONE in line any attention. We usually have such amazing service, quick, attentive, helpful. But maybe at the end of the day they don't look towards the door or maybe the tea was just too good to stop chatting about. Either way, hope they get trained to know when customers are lined up and ready to buy that they should try to get them taken care of so that lines don't form behind them.

This is in response to your 'form response' to my review, where I explained my experiences at this…read morelocation because I couldn't get a response to any of my messages in an attempt to avoid writing a bad review. The fact that you responded in that way to a very detailed review asking me to email 'details' of my experience shows just how little this company cares. You just post these 'oh sorry we fell short' responses and never follow up. My review did explicitly detail the issues and frankly I have spent way too much of my time already trying to get a response to the disappointment in a shop I have spent a lot of money in! Let's face it, your pastries are not inexpensive. But that's not really the point, as I am never concerned with price if it is something I enjoy. The point is the all around disrespect and the total lack of customer service. I left, as I said, 3 messages, and no one felt compelled to reach out to address or apologize for ANY of the issues I detailed, from the smashed, ill-packaged pastry to the fact that not one employee in all the times I was in there spending money since that location opened ever mentioning a rewards program- ever. So don't try to tell me you 'strive for excellence', that's just a slap in the face in what honestly already feels to be an already insulting situation. You couldn't even bother to respond to my email! Lisa

If you visit you will find a very large selection of sweet and savory single-serving rolls-treats, sandwiches, and drinks. And they have thin- or thick-sliced loaves of Japanese white bread. It is very popular with families, eat-in, and takeaway. Families love to allow wide-eyed children to pick among options. They have a hygienic system of clean tongs and trays for your selection. The takeaway goes in nice boxes, honoring the tradition of Japanese packaging. I would have to say, I am still trying to figure out how to use Japanese loaf bread, in contrast to Italian or French bread. I grew up in a family of whole wheat bread. When I toast the thin-sliced Japanese bread, the inside is not done. So I'm experimenting with a short microwave after toasting. I'm also looking at what to put on Japanese bread toast. The staff is customer-oriented, parking is vast and they are near the Tualatin Parks and Rec facility to burn calories before or after. Unique, friendly, community, cool.

Pretty disappointed at this place after my daughter brought me here for the first time…read more I ordered the Peach Fruit Tea with 50% sweet, light ice and Crystal Boba. Results- - Canned (not fresh) peaches used in drink. This may have caused weird aftertaste that does not have that familiar peach flavor like other places. - Flavor is way too sweet for 50%. - Light ice was done correctly When I walked away I quickly realized that they did not add my crystal boba toppings to my drink. I just had a few slices of lemons. After walking back to let them know, the girl who prepared my drink admitted to the guy that I questioned the issue about that she forgot to add it. No apologies from the girl directly and it was passive but only from the guy whom I mentioned the issue to. They have a lot of young kids working here and it looks like they work fast but they need to read the ingredients to fulfill the order correctly and to be consistent. I may give this place another try but will be sorely disappointed if they miss the mark again. (FYI- This exact location used to be Nobibi which quickly went downhill and this new business took over.)
