My daughter purchased a pre owned vehicle, had to end up getting a second key and Mr. Carl and Jordan Burrell really showed warm hospitality. On Monday July 6, 2026 my daughter had to take her car back to get new key program. Tim and Matt work in the service department really need to communicate with each other a lot better. Jordan Burrell and Carl the Sale Floor Manager step in again to assist with payment issue . They both spoke with Donny the new Sales Manager that started today. I truly appreciate All involve that help made my daughter experience a great one. Joe who was the finance officer that assisted my daughter started out well. But he needs more training in customer service as well. He needs to realize communication and understanding from the customer is very much needed. Regardless if the customer start out with warranties and end-up changing his or her mind for any reason. Overall I would recommend anyone to purchase from Jordan Burrell on 9950 Farrow Rd Strivers Hyundai My daughters first experience

I have known multiple people who have had problems from this…read morelocation, faulty repairs, techs not completing jobs appropriately, losing people's cars and you think it will not happen to you until it does. I have been here three times and already am considering selling my Hyundai so that I no longer have to deal with this dealership. The first time I brought my vehicle here I was told that they could not complete a tire rotation due to a previous dealership stripping my lug-nuts. I brought this to the previous dealership, who took a look at it and found no problems, brought it back to Stivers who then did the work no problem. Dropped my vehicle off as I luckily had a ride and did not have to wait. I brought it back again a few months later for an oil change and inspection. They displayed annoyance at me dropping my vehicle off again, stating it would only take maybe 30 minutes. I left for errands and it did indeed only take 30 minutes (the shortest time I have ever seen here and very impressive) but they did not complete the inspection that I requested and I never received reports for the inspection, though they claim that they did. Brought it back for a service recently, oil change, tire rotation, inspection. Was told it would maybe be 1 hour, I chose to wait (last time it was only 30 minutes, 1 hour isn't terrible). I sat and waited for 3 and a half hours. They informed me at one point I only had 15 minutes left. This turned into 45 minutes. Flash forward to now, I have a nail in my tire that they missed during my most recent inspection ( I know it was present during the previous inspection per my request to them previously to fill it with air and take a look at it), I bring my car to Discount Tire for a free patch and repair, who tell me that Stivers has cross-threaded my bolts of my tires and that if they remove it they will break it. I bring it to Stivers. They tell me they will fix it for free and they ask if they can work on it right then and there. I agree and ask for a timeline. "We will have you right in and out." I have been waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes and the car still has not moved from the parking spot I left it in. Mind you, I did not ask to be serviced today, THEY stated they could get it right in quickly. When I asked again for a time frame all I was told was "We will get it to you shortly."

My life has been complete ruined because I trusted a sleazy car salesman by the name of Ernie…read moreWright!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! June 7th I went in with a check from my bank for 22k. I walked the lot looking for sticker prices. As I returned I was met by Ernie asking could help me. I'm certain he could see the frustration on my face and smell the desperation on me. We began a conversation of him asking what I needed in a vehicle. I told him I needed an SUV but the Cherokee was my dream and that I did not need a lender. Just a good car. Me, my daughter and my infant granddaughter sat there for 8 hours as he "worked" to get the deal done. When the sale was finally complete and I had keys in hand I wanted to connect my phone to the SUV before I pulled off. All of a sudden the touch panel was acting crazy. I went back into the dealership to tell him. He said it was no big deal and they would have someone look at it Monday. Over the next few weeks he dodged my calls and texts as I tried to see when they were going get the touch panel repaired. On June 30th the engine light came on. I text and called Ernie. His response to me was that the engine light could only be on because of the touch panel. Ernie gave me his word that the SUV was freshly serviced and there could be no engine issues that this was definitely a sensor/computer issue due to the touch panel. In addition to the engine light being on, the remote start and start/stop function stopped working. On July 1, I took it to get a small free diagnostic test to find out the engine had a misfire and the other issues "could" come from needing a new starter or alternator. When I went in to show Earnie the diagnostic he again said that these issues were from the touch panel and when they get it repaired if that did not correct the issue they would have their mechanic look at the engine. Within, the next week the SUV ran hot. Upon checking the coolant reservoir I found oil in the coolant, an indicator that a head gasket is blown. Upon reaching out to Earnie he was rude and insensitive to me and had no intention of honoring his promises of repairing or replacing. There are other details to this story but too much to text here. To me the worst part is he came to me on that first day representing himself as a man of God saying he was just sitting at his desk praying for a sale. As a woman of God I trusted him. He even shed some crocodile tears as we were signing all of the papers. They have done little to rectify this situation. This man saw me with my daughter and new grandbaby knowing I have a family to care for and he had no regard for our life. I am now stuck with a loan for 22k that I can not repay. I have no vehicle to drive because the repair estimate is over 7k. I am a Gig Worker so with no car I have no money. Earnie knew all of this as well. Due to this my family has been separated because of eviction. I am now homeless. Thank God someone took my daughter and her baby in. But I regret the day I ever considered doing business with these demons. DO NOT EVEN LOOK IN THE DIRECTION OF PAYLESS THEY WILL SELL YOU A LEMON AND THEN ACT AS IF YOU DONT EVEN EXIST. SAVE YOURSELF!!!

They have 13 4&5 star reviews that are squished down into the not recommended category and only 3 negative 1 star reviews recommended. Something's not right with that so seriously everyone make sure to check out the collapsed reviews at the bottom that have fallen into the not recommended category. NOW ONTO MY REVIEW! My family has purchased more than 7 cars from Ty over the last 15 years. 2 or 3 for my Mom, 2 for my sister, a spare older car for emergencies (so we never had to get a rental while one of ours was being worked on etc.) and I just purchased my 3rd car from Ty, Jamie and Trey today. I couldn't be more pleased! I was in a difficult situation being upside down on my car I wanted to trade in, which I bought from Payless 3 years ago. I can't give away my secrets but these guys WORKED to find a solution for me. Jamie seriously went above and beyond and spent well over an hour going over the numbers to find a way for me to trade my car in and leave with a newer car but not pile on the negative equity I still had on my previous loan. When my dad and I went in to meet with them we were not optimistic about the situation, but Jamie said Ty told him to take care of us and "make something happen". Everyone certainly delivered on that as I drove away the very next day in my 2018 Dodge Journey leaving behind my poor beat up 2014 Equinox in parking lot. The Equinox served me well but when I worked as a home hospice nurse and then doing Covid nursing, I really racked up the miles on it and put some wear and tear on it. There was no way a large dealership was going to be able to do what the guys at Payless did. They wouldn't have taken the time or made the effort! Go by and see them and see what they can do for you!!

I explained that I felt the car was overpriced because I had been comparing it with several others. She told me I could come in to try to negotiate. When I arrived, there were three salespeople standing outside. One asked if she could help me, and I told her I had just called ahead. She took me into her office; however, she never offered her name. She took my information and then disappeared twice for extended periods of time. She asked if I wanted to complete a credit application to see if I qualified. I explained that I wanted to see the car first. She eventually brought the car around, opened the door, and asked what I thought. She did not offer a test drive--I had to ask. , She said I could only drive it to the dead end because the car had not yet been detailed. When I returned, I told her I did like the car but once again explained that it was overpriced and that I had $5,000 in cash. She said she would need to speak with her sales manager. When she returned, she told me that he wanted to speak with me directly. When I went into his office, he sarcastically asked if I was "trying to get a car with an engine," and another sales representative laughed. I again explained that the vehicle was overpriced due to its excessive mileage (233,000 miles). He asked if I wanted to finance, which I clearly stated was an absolute no. He then looked up the car and said it was coming up at $4,600, but with taxes the total would be $5,500. Once again, I explained that I only had $5,000. As a result, the dealership lost a deal over $500. Combined with the unprofessional behavior and overall experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution.
