I've been here a few times and enjoy their coffee and breakfast items. Last Sunday, I went with my BF and a couple of friends for an early evening coffee when I learned they were now serving dinner. So we thought why not.. we were interrupted more than the necessary amount by the waiters/waitresses but thought no big deal they're just getting started. Told they had wine and beer, I ordered a glass of wine. Wasn't told how much it was or given a drink menu. (my fault for not asking) Meanwhile, an order of fries with truffle oil and garlic was brought to our table which we didn't order, they didn't get the fries off our table, so I asked is this complimentary, was told it is now. I get the tab and wanted to make sure we didn't get charged for the fries not thinking to check the wine, my fault yes, I'm aware. The wine glass (1) I ordered was $23, I expected at the most $12.00, this wasn't mind blowing wine. As soon as I noticed, shortly after I left the restaurant I called and got the voice mail, requesting a call back. It is now Wednesday, 3 days later with no return phone call. I will try again tomorrow thinking maybe the dinner staff isn't in until then. Not happy about that part of the experience. The fries was way too oily in my opinion and only a few fries were eaten. I had the wings and the shrimp, decent.. if I go back again I may order it again. If I don't hear from Journeys I may not go back at all. Thank you. read more

As beautiful as this place the food was not it at all. I had the matcha latte which was lacking the matcha flavor to the extreme, the only thing I tasted was the oat milk, the temperature wasn't hot either more like lukewarm, the quiche was disappointing, the quiche had obviously been previously cooked so when they warmed it up it burnt the top and the crust as well, the consistency was off, maybe it had been frozen and then thawed out? My friends drink was not good either she had a cafe latte which didn't tasted like coffee either her avocado toast was pretty bland and the bread soggy. The service is amazing! The workers care about their clients and do their best to give recommendations and follow dietary restrictions. They make a good lavender matcha latte and a good honey latte. I also love their turkey pesto panini as well. The view is beautiful and it is a perfect place to study or meet with friends. This place is amazing! Journeys coffee at one lake has this hidden gem of a restaurant. The chef really did an amazing job with the food menu. They are open Tuesday- Sunday 4PM to 9PM... they have been open for three weeks!! Everyone check it out... Love the atmosphere of Journey and their culture. They're very community-centric, which is great for families.

I placed an order over the phone for pick up. That process was easy and the staff member was friendly. I wish they accepted payment over the phone, as I was having someone else pick up my order while I stayed at work. I was not happy with my order. I purchased the Good Morning smoothie and a BLT-A sandwich. I often make organic smoothies at home several times a week, but today, I had no time to leave work to make my own. The menu made the smoothie sound so good, but when I tried it, it was not so good. I had to throw it away; unfortunately it was not edible. My sandwich was aesthetically pleasing. The avocado was fresh. I wish for $9, that the sandwich would have included better quality bacon, tomatoes, and bread. The sourdough did not taste like a true sourdough bread and the bacon tasted cheap. (Perhaps an uncured/thicker cut bacon would have been better for a sandwich) I rated two stars for the ease of ordering over the phone and for half the sandwich, but I don't think I will be going back until better quality ingredients are used in their food. read more

Unfortunately I have to give this place a low rating. Every time I'm here the service is slow and unorganized.. It really shouldn't take 30-40 min to get a drink or pastry. It's ridiculous. Oh and online orders, forget about it! They will not make your order unless you walk up to the counter asking for it! My husband and I just went there today to get a pastry. Why did it take 30 minutes to get it toasted and it was burnt! One good review is this location is aesthetically pleasing. One of the coolest looking coffee shops I've been to. Drinks are pretty good but not worth the wait. I live in the one lake community and I would love to walk to this coffee shop but instead, I find myself driving to the nearest Starbucks. This is my favorite Journey location! It is the kind of place I bring out of town guests for a special coffee, or bring my kids for a Saturday morning treat. It's so nice to relax in the beautiful upscale coffeehouse and gaze out at the lake, but even better to get the coffee to go and walk laps around the lake! I love how they decorated the interior, including the beautiful bathrooms (it makes a difference!!) and everyone on the staff has been so friendly and helpful. I just love this place so much. I'm fortunate enough to be working from home, but sometimes cabin fever starts creeping in and feel the need to get out of the house once in a while. Only reason why they even get a star is bc I have to give them one. I tried to order a simple wrap for lunch in the early afternoon and they told me DINNER ONLY although the menu said LUNCH ALL DAY. Absolutely love it here!!! It's my first time and I immediately had to write a review. The location is perfect. Located right outside of Travis AFB. Do you work at Travis and just need to get a break from the stress at work? Yeah, this is the perfect place to go and unwind. Grab a coffee, some food, and relax outside with a beautiful view of a small lake. The workers are so friendly and it just has an amazing vibe. Waited 35 minutes for a smoothie and coffee milkshake. These items come out of the kitchen, so if you order them when there are a bunch of food orders you're going to wait a while. Would have been nice to know when we ordered considering we also ordered 2 lattes which came out in 5 minutes. Milkshake was good, but not worth a 35 minute wait. We have been here twice this weekend because it is an ultra cool place to hang. However, 2 observations: 1) never anything in the case by mid afternoon - need higher quantity of baked treats available for purchase (overages can be discounted and sold next day) 2) bathrooms have not been kept up on 2 days in a row Coffee is great. Their app is not accurate for mobile orders. The hours are incorrect. The app showed they were open at 5pm and allowed me to place a sandwich order and took payment via credit card. I drove to pick it up and learned they closed at 2pm. The app even sent me a notification that my order was ready. Called the other Vacaville Journey and they said they were not on the same ordering system and could not/did not help or offer to provide my order. I assumed the two stores were connected or under same ownership but maybe not. Called the following morning and asked for a refund. They acknowledged that their app was not current and applied the refund. Sad as I expected better service or compensation after going out of my way and still ended up hungry w/no sandwich. read more

I absolutely love this place. The area is calming and feels very open. The staff are always welcoming and super helpful! One thing I must say is that I wish they would enforce wearing masks when people come in. I completely understand when you're sitting down at your area you can take your mask off. They have signs on each entrance that says no mask, no entry but none of the staff say anything. It was getting busy towards lunch today and there was more than a handful of people not wearing a mask. It felt uncomfortable to me to the point where I had to move outside because of how many people weren't wearing a mask that was hovering around the table I was at even with my mask on. read more

Off top, the drinks are pricey. That's the world we live in today. Also, waited 10 minutes for a smoothie. There was one barista on bar so I understand. This is usually the wait time when I order a matcha latte at the Chadbourne location. Don't get me wrong though; the view and ambiance at One Lake is nice. However, the staff is a little rude. All I asked is "What time do you guys close?" and the staff member I addressed responded with "5 minutes." I wasn't trippin' off this because I needed to get the confirmation; however, a different staff member with a mohawk walked in on the conversation with me and eyebrows and said "I love when people ask me when we close and it's in 5 minutes" in a tone that did not sit right with me. The workers are young and there didn't seem to be management in sight so I understand why an interaction like that may have happened but that doesn't make it right.
