Amazing family owned restaurant. Fresh, generous food with reasonable prices and super friendly service. Meat has that char grilled flavor. Chicken and beef very tender and seasoned just right. Spicy pork is very authentic! It rivals any Korean restaurant quality. They also have rolls. You must try their Amigo roll! I love that despite being a fast service place, everything they make is so fresh and good quality. Ordered for the first time and let me tell you I was blown away by the flavor of the food. It was so delicious! I got the beef combination plate and California roll. At first o thought the roll was pre packaged/refrigerated and when I tried it was so fresh and good you can tell they had just made it. Had this for the first time last week and it was so good I had to go again for lunch today. The portions are huge especially for the price. You definitely get your money's worth. Someone else mentioned it but it's pretty much a cleaner and tastier Waba Grill or Flame Broiler. This is definitely my new go-to spot. You can tell the quality is much higher than those franchises and the food is cooked with much more care. You can actually taste the difference. I was looking for food to eat while waiting for my grandma to finish her Kaiser appointment. I initially planned to get Subway, but then I noticed this place and decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was, so I decided to leave a review. I purchased a small teriyaki chicken bowl for around 8 dollars, which I think is quite reasonably priced. The teriyaki sauce they offer is phenomenal, and they also have their spin-off of a "Yum Yum" sauce to go with the bowl. I would prefer to eat here over Waba Grill or Flame Boiler any day, especially since it's a small family-owned business. Definitely coming back again! read more

A clean and delightful family owned business! My family and I were at the nearby VCA hospital all day stressfully waiting for our pet to be seen by the emergency staff. I hadn't eaten in over 40 hours by that point, having been so stressed out by my cat being sick for the past 2 days. We finally decided to get some food while my cat was getting her ultrasound, and we decided to check out Joy Cook Grill. It reminded me of Flame Broiler, but much bigger portions at great prices. The proteins are very flavorful, and the interior itself is very clean giving off a comfortable mom'n'pop shop vibe. The chicken and veggie rice bowl definitely hit the spot when I finally got to eat for the first time in 40 hours, and my dad couldn't get over the yummy combo plate (chicken + beef with gyoza and salad.) Highly recommend the community to come and support this spot, especially if you're craving fresh and tasty protein bowls! read more
