I've been coming to Poke Bowl in Ontario for quite a while now, and it's easily my favorite poke spot. I've probably been here 20+ times and have filled up two of their loyalty cards, so I feel like I've gotten a pretty good sense of what they're all about. The fish always tastes fresh, the poke is made to order, and the portions are generous. Every bowl I've had has been consistently good, which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The ingredients taste fresh, everything is prepared well, and I've never noticed any fishy smell, which is always a good sign at a poke restaurant. The customer service is another standout. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and the owner/manager has always been very nice whenever I've interacted with him. They also have a loyalty card program where you earn stamps toward free drinks and free poke bowls, which is a nice bonus for regular customers. The restaurant itself isn't trying to be a fancy dining experience, but it's clean, comfortable, and exactly what you'd want for a casual poke spot. The focus is clearly on serving quality food at a fair price, and they do that very well. I can't really comment on the rest of the menu because I always order the poke, but based on that alone, I highly recommend this place. Horrible service . Very skimpy . I went in today at 11:45 with my sister and the Asian girl working there was acting like she didn't know anything I was asking her . Also was very skimpy with the serving , I know it's one scoop but not even the whole scoop was filled . And I payed about $20 just for the regular bowl with extra edamame. I came here snd saw line thinking it must be good, but it was just lunch time. For the price of almost $17, it's three scoops of protein and it Jsut seems a little small. Even the bowl seems small. I've always gone to the one inside Haven Market. $19 for 5 scoops of proteins. Bowls are consistent and good amount for another $2. As far as quality, I think all poke bowl has the same distributor. Same sides, and sauce selections. Not my place to come back for poke bowl. But I saw that they had a lot of good options for lunch. They have fried rice and some stirred fry dishes as well. I decided to take a chance and order from here online, but unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the food. I usually love spicy salmon and always choose it as my protein, but the version here was disappointing. The spicy salmon was minced into very small pieces instead of cubes and had a mushy texture. I got spicy salmon for most of my scoops (4 out of 5), so the texture really stood out. All of the other aspects of the bowl were good and fresh, but the spicy salmon just killed the overall vibe. read more

I got half white rice and salad with 3 scoops of spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and salmon. The heat level is not too much but it's noticeable. The sukiyaki bowl meat was too chewy for my taste. It's definitely the sweeter side. I'm not a fan of. Again this is just my personal opinion. The Longinestein is definitely the real star. Stopped in because we cant eat meat on fridays and my wife was craving poke. At first the visit was good but that quickly changed. The taller asian man greeted us which was nice but as soon as they started taking our order is where it kinda took a turn. They have it divided with one worker doing proteins and one doing sided and toppings, but the guy damn near started yelling over his coworker while she worked on my wifes plate, and there was only like 2 people in line after me. Bro, CHILLLLLLLLL. Both the man and woman turned rude af right during that last step. Thinking about the poke bowls my daughter and I had makes me crave for more. It's reasonably priced for how much protein, base, and toppings they give. It's a small joint in a strip mall, but it's not one to be underestimated. The fish is fresh and delicious even on its own. With everything, including the sauces -- so good! My son told me about this place and their salmon bowl since he knows I love salmon. Their bowl is delicious. Today was my second time going there for the salmon bowl. While I waited I used their restroom and upon entering I noticed tagging above the door inside the restroom. I assumed they didn't know and informed the young girl working the counter. She told me yes it's been there for several months! The ditsy girl said like it was no big deal giving the impression it's staying, it's not going anywhere. I don't know what business establishment would want any part of their business especially inside with graffiti! Hmm do they understand it makes the place look ghetto! The price definitely matches with how much you are given. Most places' regulars are only two scoops but it's three scoops here. I eat at this location very often as it is close to my job. However, there is one girl that is very unrealistic when she is making my bowl. If I notice that they are moving too fast making my bowl and barely scooping any toppings, I will ask for another scoop. She is the main person consistently telling me that she can't give me a better scoop of my toppings. Anyone else that makes my bowl will realize and just give me the scoop without an extra charge. I would understand if I am excessively asking for a large amount of toppings, but im not. They are VERY stingy on toppings if you ask for a little pit extra of ANYTHING like another pinch of onion it's .85 cents more. However, they do have avocado for free and not an up charge.
