A group of friends met here for a book club. Honestly, for a book club meeting, it was a little loud and hard to talk amongst ourselves...but that's on us. The service was fabulous - even with a large group, they accommodated us well and drinks, appetizers, and food all came out without long waits. We meet our friends there every couple of weeks for Happy Hour. Their wings are awesome! My wife likes the nachos and I usually go for the calamari. Great lively atmosphere, lots of TV's so it definitely fills the "sports bar' category, but is an interesting mix of folks mostly 40 and above. Come for the waitstaff, stay for the food. Love that most (all?) sauces are made from scratch and most everything is fresh. The soups are excellent. A few inconsistencies with the food (occasional over or under fry on fried items and over seasoning happens) but they listen to feedback, are constantly improving, and not only believe in but also deliver real customer service. Note: if you ask for your burger medium-rare, it will be served raw-rare. Small details like coat/purse hooks under bar and power outlets at the seats and bar add convenience. Every server, waitress, bartender, cook, and manager I have met there have been friendly, open, and appropriately professional. Also, don't forget the 5 Star rewards program. read more

Came here for the first time today, I ordered the penne Alfredo. I took a few bites (which was petty tasty) only to find a piece of hair in my food. (I've been a waitress I understand things happen.) I waited about 10 minutes for my server to come back so I could tell her. When she came back I told her there was hair in my food. She seemed very annoyed took my plate and walked away barely saying sorry also saying "you want it redone or taken off"? 5 minutes later a manger came over to our table and asked if I wanted them to remake it I decline. Normally I would just ask to had it remade but I thought they were very rude and unprofessional. It was good food but I won't ever return because they made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience. We ate in JP on October 4 for a dinner. We was pleasantly surprise how good the service we received. The food we had was good and I would recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. It is a little noisy but the service made up for the service we received. I do not recommend anyone order the fries. They was dry and over cooked. It like they fixed them then let them stay out under the heat lamp. I reported this to the server and she was going to relay the message to the cook. I would hope she relay it to the owner so he can fix the issue. Otherwise I would recommend this place for anyone that is in the area. read more

This is a good place. The happy meal menu is generous. We had a family group for a birthday and the happy hour pricing made it so we could take everyone out. The burger was great, they do a good job on cook-to-order meat temps, even on happy hour. Will definitely make this a place we stop regularly. One thing we hoped was for exceptional tater tots but they were average. We love tots and love to find hidden gems. Server was friendly and helpful. We'll be back! read more

FOOD POISONING**** My husband and I decided to give this place a shot last night. For starters the place was dead but we over looked that because it was a Wednesday night around 10pm. We sat down and our waitress Stephane was super friendly, probably the only positive from the long night. We ordered a Philly to spilt and manila clams for our appetizer. She told us our app would be out in a minute then return to say they were out. So we switched to the bacon wrapped prawns. For the most part the food tasted decent but I noticed while the outside of the bacon wrap prawn looked crispy the inside seemed to be a raw. My husband assured me that it was probably fine, and the philly was very greasy. End of story we were both up all night with food poisoning. I would definitely not recommend this place unless you wanted to lose a couple pounds because you will be sick. And we ordered a few drinks as well which were very much water down and not worth the price. We will not be going back! read more

First impressions when we were walking up to the restaurant we were wondering if it even was open yet! It made us a little hesitant but once we were inside we were greeted promptly and shown directly to a table. Our waiter, Phillip, was friendly and attentive the entire time. We ordered drinks, my husband a beer and I ordered the seasonal Pumpkin Pie martini. It was tasty with the cinnamon on top selling it to taste more like pumpkin pie than just pumpkin vodka. For our lunch we ordered the popper burger and the Alfredo dish. The burger was delish! Big and messy like a burger should be. You will need napkins! The fries were just fries. It didn't really seem like they were seasoned but there were other reviews saying they were so maybe I just had an eh batch. But the Alfredo... that was AMAZING!!! So much flavor! Even if the service was horrible and the food took forever (which it didn't!) I'm pretty sure my husband would still come back for this dish! The food and atmosphere here are always really good. Never empty, music and sports playing, people having a good time and I've never had to wait to get seated. Ribs are fantastic and the burgers and apps are all good. Service is somewhat lacking at times though but the manger or owner there goes above and beyond when something happens. Last two visits were not great service wise. The first time the waitress misheard my order and gave me the wrong burger. Owner dropped off the right order ASAP and comps it. Second visit had to wait really long for our food (about 40 mins) and the waitress forgot our appetizer so that made it felt even longer. When he food came out, I wasn't going to ask for my appetizer, just wanted to eat my entree and leave, owner comes by apologizes for the mistake and gives us a gift certificate to use whenever. I have been here for dinner multiple times, and it has been beyond great every single time! But I came in for lunch today and was completely disappointed. The bartender had to read a menu to see what alcohol was included in my drink. Then our food came out luke warm and she didn't ask me for an option of sides. Also the other meal was salmon and was completely overcooked and dry, you could barely cut it. Overall, I won't be back for lunch ever again. read more

I am only giving this place two stars because the food was actually very good. All I have been is a server. If anyone understands the restaurant game, it's me. I am always one to take the servers side, and very understanding of busy/hectic nights. We were in today (my boyfriend and I) and I received probably next to the worst service I have ever had in my life. Right off the bat our server had a terrible attitude. We ordered a bratwurst, and a half sandwich and salad... That order took 40 minutes to come out!! Our server walked passed MULTIPLE times without even checking on us, my boyfriend had to holler at her to order another drink.. which then sat at the bar ready for about 10 minutes. Asked for the check and was completely disregarded. It's so difficult to express this terrible experience to its full extent. We are super disappointed and won't be back. Which is unfortunate because we did enjoy our food. This establishment definitely needs to talk to their brunette bartender. We are super understanding people, but this was overall such a frustrating experience. read more

Not family friendly! As silly as this sounds there is not a kids menu, crayons, or anything for kids... We have been here several times giving it "another chance". Everytime it gets more disappointing. This time they kept bringing our entrees out about 10 minutes a part. With 5 of us it extended our stay about an hour more than we planned to be there. Our normally well behaved kids were maniacs as our stay extended due to the non family friendly environment and the delays caused by the staff. We won't be back. read more

Service was awful. Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Sat in the bar. Not very busy at all. Our server / waitress had a sour puss look on her face the ENTIRE time we were here. Saw one couple leave without even touching the beer they were served, I'm guessing from the horrible service. We weren't checked on not even ONE time. Not to see how we were doing, how our food was, if we needed anything else, NOTHING! we had to flag someone down just to get water and the sides of ranch we asked for with our order. Waitress is continuing to ignore us AS I write this review in the restaurant. Just horrible service. Food was good but that was also after they delivered our order to the right table. This girl woke up on the wrong side of her bed and is taking it out on customers. I recommended the manager having a long conversation with her about her bitch face coming off too strong on customers who are just trying to have a nice lunch. Just finished having dinner with my boyfriend and my sister visiting from California. It was pretty noisy and was very crowded and busy considering there was a Mariner game going on and a pre-season Seahawk game. We were greeted right away and where able to sit in an area where we could still carry on a conversation. A few things didn't go right with our order and they bought our food out before we had silverware and napkins. Once everything was straighten out which was really very minor. We were pleased with our meal, a couple of burgers, bottle of wine and fish and chips. The manager came over a little while later and apologize for the mix-up and gave us a gift card to use the next time we come in. I have been there many times before for Happy Hour and was always treated well. I would like to see some more healthier choices on the menu and have a little more of a variety or specials from time to time. The wait to be seated was too long. Service (front of house and wait staff) wasn't welcoming nor interested in our group at all. Food was overpriced and average. (Burger was OK but the waitress didn't ask how I wanted it cooked...and it arrived well-done.) Plus it took forever for our rather standard order to arrive. However, the worst thing is that it's so loud AND THE SMELL. There is something wrong with their ventilation. I left smelling like I had worked in the kitchen. My husband and I are thrilled to have a new, and very good local restaurant! We have dined there a number of times with and without friends. Our last time was with a party of 8. We love the fish and chips. Not a lot of breading and very good white fish. We have tried the steak, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, the barbecue burger and regular burger. We've ordered the fried pickles every time. Our service has always been great. We had Kayla with our party of 8 and she was so friendly and nice. She did a great job. We also had Misty one night and she was great also. We have enjoyed all of our meals there and look forward to more great dinners at JP's. read more

Not bad, got their new New York steak. Overall, far better than The Golden Steer, not quite as good as The Melrose Grill. Service was good.

The selection is very small the meals are definitely not worth the price they just seem very mediocre with just OK service
