The Tower - biscuit, hashbrowns, and sausage sandwich covered in gravy.

If you're not afraid to wait to get in (they stay busy), then this is the place for you. Our waitress was great. It's a very small cafe. The food was great and worth the wait. We ate breakfast. The tower combined all your favorite breakfast foods into a sandwich tower. My omelet was very good. Hashbrowns were cooked to perfection - crisp and crunchy. Would recommend eating here.

This place was rated well, and we were looking for a good breakfast place. It didn't disappoint us, even though they were busy. It was featured on Diner's Drive-ins and Dives with a plaque and wall art to confirm. We got a table quickly and the service was attentive and fast despite that they were busy. They offered mimosas and bloody Mary's to complete the breakfast experience which we chose to partake. My husband got the smothered breakfast burrito and said it was very tasty. I chose to the Prairie Rose Omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast. I loved the omelet which was fluffy and flavorful. The sourdough toast was very good as well, toasted perfect and many jams to choose from on the table. They had famous sweet rolls that sell out quickly, so I took one to go just to make sure I tried one. It was very good, even the next day. The low point was the overcooked crunchy hash browns that didn't add much to the meal and I didn't eat them all. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for a super breakfast.

The cinnamon roll!

For a Friday mid morning they were still hopping and yet greeted us the moment we walked in. We were directed to a table and had hot coffee almost faster than we ordered it! The cinnamon roll was beautiful, but even better, it tasted better than it looked. Warm, fragrant with cinnamon. It melted in our mouths. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a friendly step back in time with the counters and the conversations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When in Laramie, don't miss it!

Blueberry Pie

This is forevermore my go-to breakfast spot in Laramie! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here with my friend and managed to grab seats at the bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I thought this place was a tiny diner, but apparently there's much more seating than meets the eye.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would still be challenging with a big group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is easy. Busy place with a hustling set of staff. I ordered a Corned Beef Hash, which was DELICIOUS. I was jealous of my friend's Steak & Eggs. Of course, it's Wyoming! Definitely getting that next time. Because we're adults, we ended with a perfect slice of blueberry pie with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. I'm still dreaming about this meal and can't wait to go back!

Homemade Strawberry Rhubarb Pie.

Come for the chicken fried steak. Stay for the Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie A-la-mode! Despite the place being packed to the rafters for lunch, I got a seat at the counter and was eating within about 15 minutes. What blew me away was the homemade pie. The crust was flaky, tender and tasting of just enough butter. Best pie ever.

I really enjoy finding unexpected gems like this! We stopped here because of good reviews, and I can see why! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was friendly and inviting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the service was exceptional, and the food was excellent! Only after we were halfway through our meal did we notice they have been featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives! It is a well worth the stop.

Country Fried Steak (no gravy)

Short: Wow! What a lovely hole in the wall! Delicious and worth the stop! Visited week of July 19th '23 I picked out this place because on yelp it was the best diner in the area. I didn't realize Guy Fieri stopped by! [Food] Chicken fried steak no gravy, over easy eggs, hash browns, fresh marbled rye toast [$10.99] Steak wasn't dry and well peppered. Batter didn't constantly fall off. Hash browns were perfect! Crisp top, not overly oily, bottom wasn't mush! [Service] seat yourself, waitress was nice and quick. Everyone friendly and knew a lot of locals - comfortable. Stopped by a few times if we wanted dessert and how the food was tasting. Overall, I truly loved my visit (food was fresh and delish and definitely served small town welcome vibes) and if I ever get the chance to come back definitely will try the breakfast burrito!

Great service in a small space without ambience. Food... meh. I was not impressed with the "corned beef hash:" Hash brown potatoes topped with a few slivers of corned beef (so I'm told). Meat was so scantly added, it could have been bologna. Worse was the biscuit and gravy, biscuit was very light and good; gravy was awful: thin and tasteless.

Let me just say order the tower, you won't regret it. Great food, great service in a diner atmosphere.

Good little diner and breakfast. Quick and clean. Wished the coffee was stronger, but the delicious cinnamon rolls made up for it.

We came to Sweet Melissa on a weekday night and sat outside with our 2 pups! Our server was…read moreliterally the best- he was so kind, funny, and very attentive to us and our dogs. He brought us a water bowl for the dogs, and he gave us a ton of recommendations on the menu as well. For our meal, we started with the dolma and kimchi pancake. The dolma was great, but the star here was the kimchi pancake! It was crispy, flavorful with the dipping sauce, and so delicious I wish we ordered 2. For our entrees, I had the General Tso's cauliflower which was the best fried cauliflower I've ever had. They were sooo extremely crispy and very flavorful! You can't go wrong with these or the cauliflower wings. The sauce on this was a tad spicier than I normally like that day, but that did not bother me given how delicious the dish was. My partner got the lettuce wraps which had a yummy tofu scramble that we also really enjoyed. Overall, I love the concept of comfort vegetarian food that Sweet Melissa offers, and I am so glad we stopped by here. The portion sizes are great, and I forgot to mention the great cocktails we had too! I would definitely come back if I'm in town again.

Since we had our dogs, we sat on the patio. Any other day, we wouldn't have done this - it was nearly 90* outside without a single cloud in sight - but our car was in the repair shop and we didn't have another option. We made a note to order and eat as fast as we could. We had our drink orders taken, and the server brought our dogs out a fresh bowl of water. We were waiting for a long time to get our drinks, and even longer to order our food. There was a sliver of shade that our dogs were able to lay under, but us humans were absolutely roasting. After waiting for 20 minutes to order our lunch, I actually went inside to order myself. We spent another 20 minutes waiting for our food to come out, our drinks nearly hot from the sun. When our food came out, the server apologized for the lack of shade and mentioned that Sweet Melissa does have shades, but they don't stand up against the wind, so they take them down. (That's not particularly useful information.) The food? Absolutely incredible. At this point, we had spend double the time we wanted here so we scarfed down our food and cashed out. I would have rather been warned about the patio and suggested ordering something to-go over being told (after an hour) that they know there's an issue with the patio being exposed in direct sunlight during the middle of the day. I want to say that it was worth it, but our service and experience really disappointed me.
