Toyota Sienna that JT's got running like new.

I moved to Florida from Ventura county and regularly drive my vehicle back and forth. On my last drive to the west coast I noticed a coolant leak coming from my van. Knowing I had to drive over 2500 miles to get back home to Florida it was very important to have my car running reliability (especially as I'd have to drive through the desert and Texas). I took my vehicle to JT's to have my coolant system fixed and some maintenance items included at the same time, such as a new water pump and timing belt. I got a couple quotes from different shops in the area and JT's was the best price and I had a good feeling about getting the work done There. JT's was also able to work with my very short timeline as I had to make the return trip soon. I picked up the vehicle in the short time frame with no issues. After driving the vehicle around for a couple days around town I wanted him to take a second look at the cooling system, just to make sure everything was in perfect working order. He took the van in immediately and fixed the small issue, which was covered with the warranty he offers. We finished our trip driving across the country and the van ran flawlessly with no issues at all (while pulling a trailer). If you're looking for auto repairs I recommend checking to see what JT's Automotive can do for you.

JT's Automotive: Good work, fair price, but now I'm missing change? My fiance and I brought in her daily driver with some pretty serious issues (had a short which was causing an engine misfire). Joe was our point of contact and he helped us diagnose what was happening and gave us a $1900 estimate. I, myself, work in the automotive industry and recognized that the estimate for the work we would be getting done seemed reasonable. They ended up needing the car for an entire 3 days (1.5x longer than expected) which was a slight inconvenience but not the end of the world, especially for how helpful Joe had been to us to this point. I like to give my mechanics as much time as they need to ensure that I am not getting a rushed final product. The work done has only been completed for a day so there have been no issues observed after the work they have done as of now. For that we are thankful. My issue arises with the approximately $3 of quarters that have gone missing since we picked up the car as well as a couple of my light gray interior panels that now have a layer of grease on them. To rephrase that, a minimum of 12 quarters have gone missing from my fiance's coin storage. I am by no means accusing Joe of taking them, I just know for certain they were there when we dropped off the car as those quarters get set aside for our laundry. Normally I would remove valuables from my vehicles before taking them to get worked on, but this was an emergency and we just took it straight there not thinking anything of it. My fiance did give the shop a call once we noticed and they let us know that none of the work they do is inside the vehicle. We searched high and low before writing this just to give JT's the benefit of the doubt, but with the bill that we paid, I would expect my change inside our vehicle to not go missing whether it was stolen or simply and innocently knocked out of the car. Aside from this, I am satisfied with their expertise and am grateful that such a significant mechanical problem was taken care of.

Receipt overpriced labor rate and wheel alignment.

I thought this had been done when I took it last year for a Tune Up. Juan, checked Carmax for me to see if anything came up. It didn't. I learned so much in my 15-20 minutes that I was there. First, ALL of the service you have done to your car will show up in Carmax. I had no idea about this. How cool is that?!? I also learned that I need to pay attention to what services I'm getting done and paying for. I need to find my receipt from where I got my Tune Up last year as I could have sworn they were supposed to change the transmission oil (but again, I need to find my paperwork). At any rate, thank you to Juan who showed me how dirty the transmission oil was. I now know I need to change it at least every 50k miles, which begs the question why the dealership didn't do this or offer this in all of the times I took my car in for oil changes and scheduled services. ‍ I will be going back for any and all future oil changes.

I politely told the employee about the situation and how it's not cool and then I declined them cleaning it up as I didn't want them to touch my car again. THEN my girlfriend needed an oil change and they never put the skid plate screws BACK on her car which later resulted in the skid plate coming off on the freeway and bending backwards and leaving her stranded while I was at work. I've heard other bad reviews and ignored them, I regret doing so. Never going back to this place. Respectfully. Value is alright if you're willing to risk a possible half done job.

Instant oil change places aren't known to be the best places to get your oil changed so my review…read moreis based with that in mind. The staff was friendly and they performed the oil change. They tried to upsell me on a bunch of stuff, which is to be expected in these places. I knocked them off a star because I had a warning light when I went in that one tire was low on pressure. They never checked the tire pressure, so the light was still on when I left. However, the receipt said they checked my tire pressure and that it was good. You don't really save money here. They charged the same as the dealership and give less service for it. But, no appointment is needed and you get to sit in your car while they do the work. I don't think I will use this place regularly, but I might come back in a pinch if I need a quick oil change and do t have time to go elsewhere.

Camarillo Valvoline: Service you can't see…read more Experts you should NEVER trust. I have add two separate incidents at this Valvoline that will ensure I will never come back. The first occurred in January of this year when I went in for service and (against my better judgment) opted for a tire rotation. We left the shop thinking everything was fine and got a call from the tech saying that the tires have not been fully torqued and they could potentially fall off. They said they would come and find us, so they proceeded to drive to our location. Luckily we hadn't driven far and we were attending a wedding reception nearby but we had to deal with this in the midst of that. This is a egregious safety violation and could have resulted in our harm. The service technicians were very apologetic and nice however it is still highly unacceptable and dangerous. Valvoline gave us a free oil change, in exchange for our near-death experience. The second occurred today when having gone into this Camarillo location. Several things: -They didn't check my lights yet I saw on their checklist that they marked they were good . -They didn't check my tire pressure at the beginning of the service so I had to ask. -I wasn't shown my air filter. I had to ask them about it at which they said my air filter was "underneath my vehicle". This is blatantly false, and a straight up LIE. I removed the air filter myself after the service and this is the result. -I asked for a printed receipt, they never provided. THIS WILL BE THE VERY LAST TIME I EVER TAKE MY VEHICLE HERE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. HORRIBLE. They couldn't care less and just want to get you out as quickly as possible.

Exactly where the guy was leading over is where the leak was or spill since I know what he did. It's been almost a year and I have not lost any oil.... Can you imagine all the people this guy has told that we're females or guys that knew nothing about cars... and they actually believed him. So 30 seconds later I got up I walked over there and then they started telling me upon arrival that I have an oil leak and that I need to get it checked out and that he knows the guy that he can take me in right now he just has to call him. That's a bunch of bull crap vato. This message is to the older veterano, you spilled oil all over the bottom of my car and I have blowback driving home. It spilled all over the bottom end of my vehicle and I know what you did. I worked in the service industry for six years I did parts, sales, and directly worked with mechanics, ordering them parts and I did wholesale, so I know all these little moves that technicians want to pull to make more money With an experience like this, I do not recommend them all they wanna do is upsell, which is fine however, spilling oil to try to make it look like I have a full on oil leak and it's bad. It's just evil and conniving. I will not be doing business here

I also looked around and got a few quotes from other shops just to see if the price was fair, and Williams Automotive ended up being the best price by far. They also let me know my transmission fluid was really dark, which honestly wasn't surprising since I had never changed it. I came back for that service and an oil change, and once again everything was done quickly and for a really good price. Everyone I've dealt with there has been friendly and helpful. The lady in the office is also super nice, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I'm really happy with the service, price, turnaround time, and customer service.
