His professionalism and courtesy regarding the matter definitely deserves a revision on my end, especially considering that the other food we ordered was perfectly fine. read more

Great food! I had the steak and eggs and it was mouthwatering. The only reason I didn't give it five stars, and this could have been partially our fault but still, we didn't realize they close at 2:00, but we arrived at 12:30 and we felt rushed by the waiters. A little after 1:00, shortly after we got our meals, they started to take the condiments off our table while we were still eating to fill them for the next shift, they asked if I was finished so they can take my plate, while I was still eating, they were a little too eager to give us our checks --- and came back two minutes later asking if they can run our credit cards. I looked around at other patrons and they were still happily and leisurely enjoying their full meals , but they didn't seem to be rushed as we were. I will definitely return, maybe a little earlier, to enjoy what I ate instead of forced to inhale it. read more

I went to go get breakfast it was nasty I ordered two eggs and hash browns. The eggs were cold and the hash browns were burnt. They replaced the hash browns and they came back under cooked. I never go back there again. I also they were trying to charge me for a drink I didn't order. Nope it didn't happen. read more

We were greeted by Flora who noticed it was my mother in laws birthday and in the end to our surprise they treated her to a birthday waffle with chocolate and ice-cream. My second time at JT's Diner was another good experience. I have only been here during the week and they have not been busy either time. Service is good and the staff pays attention when you need a refill. My food both times has been cooked properly and tasted great. I am doing a keto diet right now so my breakfast was a little boring - a sausage omelette with sliced tomatoes. My only minor complaint is being up charged for sliced tomatoes when I didn't even take my bread item. Again - a minor complaint. Came here for a brunch with my husband and toddler before our 2 hour car ride back home. Ordered an omelette and a French Croissant Toast for the 3 of us. 2 parties came after us (got their orders in after as well). Both tables (1 also with parents and toddler) got their food before ours and we patiently waited as our toddler was losing a bit of patience (with nap time nearing). It was initially annoying but then no one came to approach us to give us a status update till at least when the other parties were more than half way through their meal that we were notified our order ticket was lost. Honestly, by this point, our toddler had been whining/crying (hangry and getting closer to naptime) and while the server was apologetic, we sort of didn't want to "re-order" our food but just reordered it anyways thinking it would come soon. They offered us a fruit bowl for our toddler who had no interest in the food by this time. That being said, both parties that arrived after us, finished/paid their meals and left by the time we got our food. Food was mediocre at best and action speaks louder than words (in this case, lack thereof action). In this case, an apology didn't seem like it was enough to compensate our time and stress level (we really should have considered leaving). They charged us for the disappointing food and overall experience. We had no expectations that it would take so long for a potential human error, but their way of handling it afterwards wasn't great. This was our last meal before our long ride back home and unfortunately, we won't be returning. read more

When I saw chicken and waffles on the menu, I got excited; what a let down. The presentation was nonexistent. I'm pretty sure they just threw everything on the plate with sheer happenstance. The fried chicken tasted like it was something cheap you'd pull out of a freezer and the waffles were on the chewy side. They actually gave me frozen butter. What do I do with frozen butter? The hamburgers were difficult to cut with the knife impaled through the top of them. Apparently the patty they use is dense. That coupled with it being extremely overcooked and dry was disappointing. Don't order the French onion soup unless you want the taste of disappointment in your mouth. Those nasty, crispy, onions shouldn't be consumed. Get the hot dog... the taste of the wiener across your tongue will be pleasing and palatable. This is something you can actually stomach swallowing. Not good diner food and I'm generous with three stars. read more

Food was good but came out sporadically. Once it started coming out (20 minutes after ordering) things started to improve. There was a small wait up front, so seating was about 30 minutes for a party of 6 on a Sunday. In the end, kids and adults were happy. Only issue was they forgot a couple of items and we had to flag our server down to try to go find these, which was resolved quickly. All food was hot and correctly made. Coffee and water was refilled pretty promptly. Atmosphere was good, they do the old diner flair but was not crazy noisy or overly cheesy surroundings. Menu was pretty good, giving a good selection that everyone can appreciate. If you're not craving eggs they have lots of other stuff, if you're craving eggs well they've got that too! Would go back here but peak hours for parties greater than 4 is pretty tough because it's a limited space. Prices are really fair - I think our entire group cost about $75 with tip and half our party ordered extra sides with their food. Happy dining for your breakfast fix :-) Have not tried them for lunch, but I trust everything would be just as satisfactory.
