Some friends brought us lunch yesterday and I had the best Tenderloin I'be ever had. So good!

Yummy local bar and grill. The food is always hot and fresh, with a fun atmosphere. The only down side is they go through a lot of wait staff. I prefer local joints where I see the same faces on a more regular basis. read more

We have been here many times, two to three times a week for the last four months because there is little else. DO NOT BOTHER with the specials. They are over priced, over cooked and poor quality. The service is adequate. The rest of the menu is ok. read more

Walked in late to a KU game night and got a table in front of the big screen right away. Food was great and the beer was cold!

We had carry out for four, chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken. Plenty of food and very good. Leftover food was just as good as the first time. We will return to experience eat in dining. read more

This covers only the weekend breakfast at JT's. Went to breakfast there for the first time today. Most likely won't go back. Ordered the Skillet with peppers onions cheese hash brown and eggs. Believe it or not it was bland the potatoes were mushy. On the menu it says it comes with tomatoes. I asked them to hold the tomatoes but my skillet had tomatoes. Waitress was very inattentive When she finally came by I had toask for jelly for my toast. My wife had bacon and pancakes pancakes were fine the bacon was barely cooked I did manage to get a second cup of coffee that is why they get 2 stars read more

Is a simple place, with a good price food. The size of the plates worth what you're paying for! Not kidding.

Worth your time to go off the beaten path! Home town charm with big city menu. Service couldn't be better. Ideal for the family early on and the booths filled quickly as the week night went on. I absolutely love this place. The food is great the beer is priced just fine. On Friday nights they have karaoke and that is always a good time. A fun place to go to with your buddies. It is wide open and you don't feel like you are going to run into anyone when you turn corners. Nice and clean and I love the staff! Keep it up y'all! read more

It is such a fun place to have a few drinks at. The people who work there are always so friendly. They also have very good biscuits and gravy and its huge!! The bartender always remembers us and extremely helpful when we have questions about what to drink. I love this place!! read more

Three stars for the guac and chips, but I got the philly cheese steak and it was horrible. Dry, burnt bread, and really lacking flavors. I'm glad I ordered the guac as an app or I would've left hungry, I do recommended adding diced tomatos to the guac, it makes it a lot better! My family and I have been there several times now. Taco Tuesday is a must and definitely try their homemade salsa. Everything we've tried up there has been above expectation. Chicken fried steak was great and they have good salads. Let's not forget to mention the cold beer too. read more

I've gone twice now. Both times, I are almost nothing on my plate because it tasted terrible. I had a steak the first visit and chicken fried steak the second. One bite of each was done. They didn't even ask why I didn't eat any of what I ordered. Food is bad, service almost nonexistent, it's just a bar. read more

JT's is a great place to hang out. Other than Beer 30, it is the only place in town but I would go there even if it weren't. Food is above average for a sports bar ( better then Johny's Tavern ), and the people are great too. Great specials and the place is packed for Taco Tuesday. The taco's are damn good. The owner is a friendly guy that hangs with the crowd and goes out of his way to provide a good experience. I love to hang out in the bar and watch Royals and Chiefs... Nice patio area added this past year too... It's not too far from 5 stars..... I forgot to mention pool tables and live music on week ends too !! read more

Met friends here last night and it was clean, big screen tv's everywhere. The dining area was roomy and clean. My husband and I had the tenderloin with fries and onion rings. The tenderloin was amazing. Not the thin breaded kind most places served. It was huge, but the meat was thick and so tender and no grizzle. Hurrah! Would have given 4 stars, but the service was not very good and the onion rings were really bad, so tough and greasy. We'll go back and try some other things. read more

DO. NOT. ORDER. A. HAMBURGER...unless you like your patties frozen and microwaved. I returned my hamburger because it was cold and mushy. Attempt #2 was hot, but the meat pattie had an odd texture (I returned it after one bite). Our waitress was understanding and validated the restaurant's substandard cooking techniques. The manager, whom I learned was tonight's cook, deleted the price of the burger, but charged $3 for my (included) side order of onion rings. In the event I return to JT's I will play it safe and only order beverages. read more

Went in with relatively low expectations and walked away very impressed! Excellent food and great service. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was very tasty. Burgers were great and the fries were awesome. Even more amazing - the size of the cookie that comes with the kids meal. It's huge! read more

After visiting here a few times over the past year, I will absolutely say with complete confidence, that we will not be back. Ever. The times we've gone, service has been extremely slow--however, the food has always been good. We live in Eudora and our dining options are pretty bare. We decided to try JT's after my son's First Communion because we figured the one restaurant in Eudora would be packed. 1. We were never greeted. We waited five minutes and nobody ever came up to us. 2. We waited a good ten minutes for our drinks. 5 waters, 1 diet soda, and 1 beer (the waitress had zero clue as to what they carried and couldn't give my grandfather a legit answer. Just an "I don't really know") 3. I wanted just a chicken breast with onion and a side salad. I asked our waitress if it was more reasonable to order JUST a chicken breast or to order the sandwich without a bun/garnish. She recommended the sandwich (I work in a bar.... I know this is the more expensive option, but I still asked to see what her standpoint was and if she'd be honest) 4. Our food took FOREVER to come out. I'm talking... a chicken breast, a taco salad, wings, a kids hot dog, a philly, and a burger. Again, I work in a bar. These items don't take that long. AT ALL. 5. My nephew's kids meal never came out with the food and neither did my side salad. When we asked where they were, it was as if we asked the waitress to rip off her arms. She heaved her sigh and said "I'll go check." There was no "Oh, I'm so sorry, I completely forgot to ring those in!" or anything. And it was clear they were completely forgotten, because my poor nephew (4yo) had to wait 15 minutes for his hot dog. A hot dog! Something that should've taken a couple minutes!! 6. When we got our ticket, the hot dog and side salad were still on there. I crossed them off and NICELY asked the waitress to remove them from the bill. I said "I'd like for these two items to be taken off because---" and at that point, the receipt was taken out of my hand as the waitress stormed off. I couldn't even finish what I was saying and at NO point was I rude about it. Again, I'm a waitress. Kindness goes a LONG way on both parts. 7. When she ran my grandfather's credit card, she brought it back, dropped it on the table, and walked off. No "Thank you" or "So sorry for the delays" or anything. This was the WORST dining experience I've had in a long time. They weren't busy, there were open tables everywhere, and there was nobody who presented themselves as a manager for me to talk to. The fact that NOBODY came out and apologized for how long our food took OR the fact that my nephew didn't get to eat dinner, was absurd. I hope your waitress is able to learn some customer service before she ruins another family's idea of this place as well. You were highly recommended by my godmother, but I will absolutely never recommend this place to anyone else. Very disappointed and very sad for my family who were in town to celebrate a special day. read more

I had a terrible experience here. It was very full when I visited which is fine. The food took an hour to be served and our waitress never informed us the kitchen was behind. The food was not that good. I had a stuffed burger and it wasn't really stuffed at all. It was about as thick as a frozen patty with some melted cheese. The fries were under cooked and tasted freezer burnt. The waitress barely gave you any attention after the food was served and I was trying to flag her down several times to order drinks. I stayed for the live music which was decent. The waitress only came around about once every 30-40 min even though there were only a few patrons in the restaurant. The bar was even worse. My husband went to get a beer from the bar because the waitress was so inattentive. The bartender literally said "You have a server somewhere down there" and refused to serve him a beer. Why would you refuse any paying customer? So my husband had to wait and order a beer when the waitress came back around. A friend ordered a redbull and vodka and the waitress said she would bring it right out. 10 mintues later another watiress came back with it and said it was Monster and vodka instead of redbull becasue they "didn't have any redbull." So they just expected my friend to be okay with a drink that wasn't right. He was gracious and accepted it. That waitress also forgot to put in the order for a beer at the bar so my husband was waiting once again for a drink he should have gotten 45 minutes ago. That isn't even all the issues we had with the wait staff. I could probably write a few more paragraphs, but this pretty much tells the whole story. read more

Every single time we go there, this short blonde girl unfortunately serves us. She forgets to refill drinks, she delays everything and my fiancé and I watch her talk to her friends/coworkers instead. We waited 20 minutes to get a check she said she would get for us twice. The food there is not worth the price. Burgers are the only decent thing there. Nachos are a sad joke, got a plate of ribs that were dry and barely warm. I paid $15 or so after tip for a plate of dry room temperature meat. Pork tenderloin sandwich looks impressive, but it's nothing but a piece of meat the size of a bun with wayyyyy too much breading fried all over. If you pick off the fried outer layer you'll see you what you paid for. We usually wait an hour to get food even when the restaurant was empty. The first visit we had, we waited over an hour for a server to come even get us drinks. It was a Sunday and the place was practically empty. Small towns just can't keep up I guess. read more
