Went here for cinco de Mayo last night, loved it so much! They had a special $9.99 for their super nachos or beef taquitos, $9.99 for their jumbo margarita, and $19.98 for a beer bucket of 6. We ordered the nachos and made the mistake of also ordering a shrimp burrito because the nachos were HUGE! We could barely touch the shrimp burrito cus we were already full but it was delicious so happy we ordered it. Nachos were amazing and they give a ton of carne asada. Margs were delicious too! Ordered the churros and ice cream for dessert and they were bomb. The churros had some sort of caramel or dulce de leche filling, to die! Our waitress was amazing attentive and friendly! I had heard of this place for a little while and finally took the chance and came in with my family for dinner... and I'm definitely glad I did! This place was awesome. Everybody was so nice and helpful. We got the table side guacamole which was delicious. I also got a combo plate (I believe it's the fiesta combination plate) which was also so good. I very hopeful but Sorry to say that this place is overrated. The service was just ok and food was just ok. Nothing special at all. We ordered one of the most popular items on the menu the Molcajeta, it's $34.99 it does come with more then enough food for 2 people but it is really expensive. Specially when I had better and less expensive then this place. It comes with 2 plates of rice and beans, and both plates had to be sent back because they were cold. I came here with my friend on a Saturday afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised that they had the buffet going on--perfect timing. I have a feeling that the traditional menu offerings are better than the buffet, which seems to be the case at other places, too. The buffet consisted of street tacos, potatoes, grilled veggies, chicken mole, beans, rice, and many other dishes. The fried plantains were incredible. That being said, I expected to be wowed, but just wasn't. My friend did mention that she'd like to return--if I do, it'll be for the traditional menu. The service was ok--nothing special or too friendly, and I was told they didn't have a drink menu but that I should just tell them what we wanted. I ordered my friend a margarita since it was her bday and it was beautiful and tall and $12, which isn't too bad and she's totally worth it, but I'm happy we didn't go crazy with the drinks. No drink menu? So strange. But I didn't think to ask about prices because I headed straight to the buffet. First of all the customer service alone is phenomenal we were treated as family. The price is absolutely affordable and the food is top notch authentic. Fresh tortillas, menudo, posole and cosido. Mimosas ready and on your table as soon as you finish. Yelp states they open at 9 AM but they actually open at 8 AM. Tables steadily available. This is some of the best Mexican food that I have had in a while. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to anything that we could have needed. We asked about the taco Tuesday that they have and she was ready to bring us a couple of tacos to try. We had to decline because we were already too full from a great meal. He really treated us like we were kin and that as more than appreciated. Walking in on a busy Friday night there were, AS SHOULD BE EXPECTED, a lot of people BUT for good reason. The food was a-mazing and the drinks were perfect. There was a live musician that preformed with such grace. Lastly, BE MINDFUL of what spaces customers walk into. A lot of local owned restaurants are working day in and day out to support their business, staff, and customers. Long waits for quality food and service should be a good sign to any customer. Waited about 45 minutes for the Sunday brunch. Was 3 of us and they jammed a table right against the bar. It was pretty uncomfortable and the fact that we had a hard time getting in and out due to all of the tables so close together didn't help. The buffet has a really good variety of food including made to order omelettes and homemade corn tortillas. Unfortunately the flavor of most everything is just ok. Nothing that stands out. It has been a while since I have been back to Juanchos. The last time was during the pandemic in 2021 and the good quality seemed to have changed. This was somewhat to be expected during the pandemic with supply chain issues and staffing. I went back last week and the food was amazing for a great value! I would highly recommend the shrimp tacos. The al pastor was good, but it would have been much better if prepared on a rotating spit with a pineapple on top. read more

Food is great and the buffet on the weekends is really well picked. Service is also great as their servers try to make your experience good. It's a little noisy because it's a small place but it's your average busy loud. Oh and they also had live music. Drinks were also pretty great and they have bottomless mimosas as well. Ordered the enchiladas suizas, wasn't the all time best I've had but it still was pretty good, came with a very good amount of sour cream and some sliced avocados! Beans and rice were delicious! I've been a regular here for about 2 years and finally have the time to rave about this place! The atmosphere makes you feel like you're welcome into a warm and inviting Mexican restaurant with cultural decor and music that makes you happy to be eating there. Their taco Tuesday's and happy hour are bomb, but I find myself coming back here again and again for things like their tostada, salads, burritos, you name it! The service has always been impeccable and the wait staff goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. I always see Geeno the manager working extra hard to talk to customers and ensure everyone is happy with their meals. I don't even have to ask and the moment I sit down he knows my order and that I like the habenero salsa with the house chips (btw if you've never had that salsa it's amazing!) Juanchos is thoroughly decent and often scratches the itch for sit-down authentic Mexican. Service is fantastic. Food is - fine. The real standout is the carnitas enchiladas, whose sauce is spiced with something divine and unidentifiable. Maybe nutmeg. However, everything else on the menu is entirely forgettable and priced high. The real ding is that their tap water - just whatever comes out of the sink - tastes awful. It's a newer construction building, I'm hoping that there's not something insidious in the piping, but it tastes like the smell of potting soil. It's the only restaurant out there where I always order a bottled drink. Come for the enchiladas, stay for the service, and run far, far away from any beverage that relies on their tap water. read more

Unfortunately, we had the same server who was very inattentive again. The bean and cheese burrito was cold inside unmelted cheese and the guacamole never showed up. Since he never comes to see how you are doing, there was no use in letting him know after my husband had already finished his meal. To add, there was never a mention of drink refills until our check was about to come out. We were there at minimum 1.5 hours.
