This is my 3rd time and once again my expectations have been exceeded. We got served right away even though it's really busy. The servers move around fast and obviously have no problem handling the rush. Three different people have asked us how we are doing, and even the hostess is running around helping people. This crew obviously enjoys what they do and clearly work well together. Oh yes, and did I mention the food? We got the Mocajete and it's absolutely DELICIOUS! The manager recommended a tamarindo margarita and it is insanely good! This review is based on store hours and greeting staff. Yelp says restaurant opens at 9:00am. We arrived there at 9:18am for breakfast today, and a lady came out to say "they were closed and that they open at 10!" I explained Yelp said 9am but she didn't seem to care and stuck to 10am. When we walked out we noticed the hours posted outside the restaurant says 8am! Owner and manager, please get it together with your hours. It's a Tuesday night it's packed as hell ! So busy service was a tad slow but our server Natalie was amazing !!! We had a table of 6 and a high chair , ordering time of drinks and sides and she was always super sweet and attentive , even made me a special drink that usually couldn't be made . Every server is busting their booty here and they're so pleasant ! Food was of course delicious ! I've had this place bookmarked for the longesssst time! Came here for the Sunday Brunch Buffet w/ the bf and weren't very impressed. We arrived 10/11ish, there was no wait time and got seated immediately. Yay for that! As we got seated, we waited a while until our server came over to ask what we would like to drink. No biggie there. The both of us have never been to a brunch buffet before so we were a bit confuse, but our awesome server informed us how it goes down. We were allowed to pick something off the regular menu or enjoy the buffet. Buffet and bottomless mimosas please! The service was on point! They were always there refilling our drinks and stop by our table many times. On the other hand, the food was good, but not impressive. I was telling my bf, I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try out different Mexican dishes at one place. Don't get me wrong, some of the food were great enough that I came back for seconds! I understand it's a buffet, but the food just wasn't there for me especially since I've read/heard about the rave for Juanchos and I've been so excited to come here. Another review from me after a first low rating. Arrived at 7pm on a Friday and it was busy. Ordered table side guacamole which was fantastic. They had a great solo guitar player/singer. Ordered Machaca which was awesome and the tortillas were hand made. Other family members had the breakfast burrito and Juanchos burrito which had carnitas. Absolutely delish!!!! Unfortunately the service was not the best. Waitress visited the table two times in the 90 minutes that we were there. Had to track her down for water and the bill. Other than that it was great. Mexican foooood!! Soso yummy, Mexican food is my comfort food and I wanted to eat at an authentic sit down Mexican restaurant. Juanchos came up as the best reviewed option so I decided to check it out. It's a little far from where I live but it was definitely worth the drive! The menu is quite extensive, my friend and I sat there staring at all the options for quite a few minutes. Upon arrival we saw this party sitting outside with the giant bowl of things hanging around the rim on the bowl and dipping them into the sauce inside the bowl. Looked interesting and seemed popular amongst the Yelpers. I ended up ordering a bunch of sides so that I could make my own tacos. I got the black beans, Spanish rice, handmade tortillas, and a small guac. The tortillas were bomb! Thicker than your average corn tortilla. The beans were flavored well and no complaints with the rice and guac. We were also given chips and salsa while waiting for out food to come out which took quite a while but was understandable because that restaurant was packed! We had to wait about 15 minutes upon arrival to be seated. My friend seemed to enjoy her food too. We both had leftovers to take home! 2 meals, scoreee! We both agreed we would come back. We also was as we were leaving a sign for brunch buffet! Maybe i'll come back for that in the future. Don't bother going here. We came in to try some of their drinks. We waited for 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we were even there. Then we were told to sit anywhere we liked. We waited another 5 minutes and decided to go up to the bar. At which point we waited for another 5 minutes and keep in mind 4 different servers passed by. Then finally one of them asked have you been helped. We said we want to order drinks she then told her coworker can you take their order and she said who even though we were standing right in front of her. She then said ok I'll send someone over. 5 minutes later no one showed up so we walked out. I called the restaurant to speak with manager and they had me on hold for 10 minutes and hung up. My husband and I found this place on a Yelp search for Taco Tuesday and it was the best find EVER!!! Not only are the servers magnificent but they know u by name, they know ur likes and they treat u like royalty. The Chicken Mole, their Burritos , their Mulita, their Tacos, their EVERYTHING IS THE BEST MEXICAN food we've ever had, besides our Moms!! We have been coming here for years and their alcohol menu has grown like a high end bar in Downtown LA. The Margaritas, their Margarita Flights, the Beer on tap! Let me make this clear, the food is delicious. Hot and fresh and I love that the guacamole is made in front of you. We ordered that with chips, molcajete and another dish. The two stars off is based on service. We came in and I could already tell they were understaffed. Two servers and there were about 10-15 people sitting. We got sat directly at table next to the bar where a couple of people were having drinks. We asked to move since it was a bit loud near those people and we just wanted a late nice Mother's Day meal with my boyfriend's mum so we got the booth opposite. At this point I don't know who our server was because three people ended up serving us which is chaotic! Our drinks took forever to get (we ordered sodas) but our food arrived quite on time. The girl who walked us to the table didn't seem to care about attending but the young man who served us mostly was great and deserves to be recognised (sorry I forgot his name!). It seems there's no team work involved or strategy by the manager. Saw the guy running around for everybody, the girl sometimes, then the cashier lady standing around and the two barmen just talking to each other. As I said food was great but the manager needs to work on team building. I would have loved to give this place more stars, but unfortunately service let this place down. read more

Woah where do I start. Our waitress Yasmin was amazing. She recommended so many good dishes which totally hit the spot. She brought the salsa and chips. The salsa was delicious great taste with a little kick the tortilla chips were warm. The homemade guacamole done on the side of your table was delicious as well. We ordered the mango margarita with tajin on the rim and a regular margarita it was happy hour so a big plus we got the big size. My boyfriend ordered the three amigos plate (tacos rice and beans) I ordered the taquitos al la carts and a street taco de pastor... delicious as well. We really enjoyed our first experience Yasmin was honest friendly and recommend "their specialty dishes". They also have buffet and the prices were reasonable so we are definitely going to check that out. We are so very satisfied and were very happy after we left. I gotta say my favorite is brunch! On Sunday they have all you can eat buffet and mimosas for $20! PERFECT! Every time I have gone I have absolutely loved the food. One thing I may kind of complain is that they need to change it up a bit... So yesterday my sisters and I took my mom for her birthday to eat her favorite Sunday brunch, it started off rough because my mom fell on the way to the buffet because the seating was a little crowded, but the employees apologized and brought my mom a margarita, she didn't drink it she gets heartburn; but either way we tried to make the best of it. Most of the adults ordered the buffet because the food looked amazing and it was and it also came with bottomless mimosas. My two sisters and myself had 2 mimosas, my mom didn't even finish 1 and my brother in law had none. None of that should matter but let me go on, after about an hour and a half of us sitting there eating and getting food and talking and laughing a man approached the table and started grabbing cups saying very rudely "Are you guys done with these I have people waiting." It caught most of us off guard so we were silent but then he asked the waitress to ask if we were ready picking up the card tray from the table we said "no, we'll let you know when we are ready." She said ok I'm sorry. By the way everyone around us had been seated the same amount of time as us. I went up to the front to ask to speak to a manager as we were just celebrating my moms birthday, she said "yes ofcourse hold on just a second." As she proceeded to wait she looked over at the man behind me on the phone who was rude to us earlier I asked is he who she was waiting for and she said yes he's the owner. I said "ok well he was very rude and I don't appreciate it at all but here is my card to pay my bill she took the bill and apologized. As I returned to my table the man was speaking to my brother in law in a very rude tone. My brother in law had told him he was very rude and we spent a lot of money for my moms birthday and it was unacceptable that he was behaving like that towards his customers. He said to my brother in law " I don't have to deal with you I'll let the cops deal with you, you all have had way too much to drink you need to leave." Again my brother in law had nothing to drink and my sisters and myself had 2 and 3 was full on the table. We got up and paid the bill and left and let him know we would not be back and he shouldn't treat people like that because he lost a good customer. He stated "that's fine!" And we left. We were the only mixed family in the entire restaurant with about 5 kids I don't know if that's the reason but it was unacceptable and not the way you run an establishment. If I could do no stars I would. It was my moms 55th birthday...way to go Juanchos! God bless. read more
