We've came back and we're not disappointed. I went ahead and bought three different burritos since they cost the same as a regular plate here. They were kind enough to accommodated my wife with a plate outside of the menu since she's allergic to eggs. The food was amazing and it really did taste authentic instead of those Tex-Mex places. The guys at the front are kind and they seem like they really care about their customers. I think they try to get to know you a bit if you start becoming a frequent customer. Only two things I didn't like, the agua orchata was way too sweat and it wasn't all that good. Also, why put potatoes in the top of the beans?! That's weird, just put it to the side or use bigger plates. Besides that, we enjoyed our breakfast and I can't wait to try more of their dishes. read more

It's All Good! Come And Get Some! I've been dining in and getting to-go at this place even before Juan bought it. He didn't change a thing and the food actually got better, which is a WOW in my opinion. In all those years, I have never gotten anything but very good to excellent food. From breakfast and lunch burritos, both small and large, to the tamales, lunch plates, menudo and special orders. All I can say is YUM! Two of Juan's relatives have taken on front of house duties most of the time, and after a few hiccups, they got it down. Color me a lifetime diner. read more

Ok we've driven by this place for a few years now and after reading some of the positive reviews on yelp we were curious so one day we decided to stop and check it out for ourselves. Honestly we were not at all that impressed. The food lacked tons of flavor, the beans did taste as if they were from scratch all right, scratched right out of a can, the rice was so bland with no flavor whatsoever. I ordered the chilie Relleno platter that came with a side of beans and rice and covered in a red "chili sauce". The sauce was plain, ol, watered down tomato sauce and had absolutely no flavor except of tomato sauce. My mother had the Barbacoa platter which came with a blob of "Barbacoa", rice , beans and tortillas on the side. The Barbacoa was not Barbacoa it was shredded brisket made to look like Barbacoa and of course her beans and rice tasted as bland as the ones on my plate. Our bill was $21 & change. Which for a local taqueria is really high. I'm giving 2 stars because the staff were friendly but the food has a lot of room for improvement. Needless to say we will not be back which makes me sad because I really wanted to like this place. =( read more

Ok, barbacoa and menudo are really good. Menudo has garbanzos that's what we like and is really clean. Everything else I don't like , little flavorless in all the rest of the food . Tortilla soup is not tortilla soup is Mexican chicken soup with some tortilla strips so no. Rice and beans I prefer rosas cafe but today I try the tamales and oh my what a disappointment , Very very greasy super tiny and with some sort of ground meat like the meat in the jack in the box tacos, wth? It took me 2 years to find this place! I work literally down the street from this place and I have never tried it. One day I was on my break and I seen the sign and told myself I might as well try the place out. It was super busy when I went inside to order but Lord it was worth it to go into a packed place. I was surprised when I read the sign as I was walking in that they open up at 6 a.m. it is great authentic Mexican food. You can either dine in or order in and take out. This place is the truth I love their breakfast burritos. Even though this place is really busy they take your order and it is out within a reasonable and efficient time. It is definitely a place to take your family and kids. The atmosphere is really homie and comfortable to be in. You can either eat inside or dine outside on their patio.
