We eat breakfast at Judy's every Saturday, and sometimes Thursday or Friday night. Everything is always delicious! My husband and I have thoroughly explored the menu, and we've loved it all. The owners and staff are all friendly and efficient. I have eaten here since my grown children were children, and we include the grandkids when they are in town. Gave Judy's a second try after our last visit in 2024. The chicken fried steak was tough and over "deep fried" - as it was in 2024. The side order of green beans had a taste as if it were dropped in a camp fire and burned - sprinkled with some olive oil. My family ordered breakfast items, of which were very good. I would give the atmosphere a grade of 93, and the chicken fried steak a 65 (only because the gravy was good. Will never order the chicken fry again! read more

Started out with the hostess were sweet and friendly. Our waitress Emily was super sweet and nice. This was our first time so she took her time and answered the questions. This is a great little spot for breakfast or lunch. I have had several marketing meetings here and have enjoyed it very much. Great place! I can't believe I haven't been here sooner given I grew up in this area and recently moved back! Service could have been a little friendlier as well as the coffee could have been better but not deducting for that on this diner. I was in the Garland area yesterday to help my daughter move a new dresser into her apartment and after we were done, she had promised me brunch. I let her suggest some places and she said Judy's was nearby and was very good. I took her up on it. We entered the place, an although fairly busy for a late Sunday morning, we got seated quickly and our server Emily was on the spot offering us our water and coffee. I ordered the Denver Omelet and when it came out, looked just like in the picture! The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy and moist on the inside just the way I like them! I cannot remember what my daughter got, but it was something with egg/ham/croissant that got gobbled up as well. This would be my go to place again, if I am in the area. I love it here! Came here because my cousin is having her baby and was craving Judy's and everybody congratulated her and was so sweet to us. Annette was so funny and kept us cracking up. Karen was the best! She was so sweet when she was taking our order and made us laugh so hard. They have such infectious personalities and I will definitely come back!
