My one gripe is that most of the drinks don't have a very good protein to calorie ratio. The lowest calorie smoothie is the Watermelon Dragon with 150 calories but only 2g of protein. The best ratio is the Hustle & Muscle which has 520 calories and 53g of protein but that's more of a whole meal replacement than a smoothie. I also think that they should try to write on the cups somewhere that it's compostable - I wonder if composting companies just see the juice generation cups and throw them out without knowing that they're compostable. And the straws too - if they were green or opaque it'd be more noticeable that they are compostable. They do offer an option of adding protein to your drink but don't seem to advertise anywhere on the website what the macros are (how many g of protein, how many calories). In addition, some locations will have reusable cups for sale. The website says that use of these cups will get you a 10% discount but the workers seem unaware of this and don't seem to care about selling them. There is an app where you can receive points that add up to $10 off - you have to buy MANY, many drinks in order to hit that mark needed for the $10 off. And $10 off doesn't even cover the price of 1 drink. It would make more sense to just stipulate one item instead of $10 off.

One downside was the protein powder. It wasn't mixed in, which created a weird, grainy texture in parts of the bowl. Because everything is layered, it's harder to get that perfect bite where the açaí, fruit, granola, and toppings come together.
