Well, I'm on a tight budget and wanted something healthy. As I walk in right before closing on a 17 degree night, afraid I would only buy one ten dollar item, they offered me a couple of free bottled juices that I guess would have expired the next day. I wound up buying an acai dessert and a kale Casear salad that was awesome. I felt like I made out like a bandit! Everything was amazing, and I'll def. be back! read more

I love the women who work in this location. They are awesome and helpful, but I have to say, the management is horrible. They are suppose to open at 8 am and on many occasions I will get there @ 8:10 or later and they are still closed due to a late deliver which normally I will wait. But this am, I waited 15 mins and then when I knocked and said I need to go because I was doubled parked, the manager dude proceeded to tell me that we don't live in a perfect world and that I was just going to have to wait. When I said I was double parked he said "oh so your going to get angry now"? NOT COOL on the customer service!! I waited patiently while 5 other people came and went because the door was locked...that's at least $55.00 lost in 15 mins. Off to the farmers daughter I guess which is just down the street. I'm not a fan of Juice Press. I've opened up far too many spoiled bottle of Heaven on Earth to go back here and this applies to all the locations of Juice Press. I find this particular brand really pretentious. The staff is not genuinely warm or welcoming. Even though I've always been greeted with a very loud "Hi, Welcome to Juice Press," the staff always ignored me for minutes. It's difficult to ask questions or ask for help because the staff is so absorbed into talking between themselves and doing their own thing or staring off into space. I'm not a pro juicer but I feel like the staff here shuns people who are not familiar with their juices and practices already. There are so many other juice places in New York City that I'd rather just go somewhere else where I feel welcome. It doesn't help that the markup to Juice Press is so much higher and the owner sounds like a lunatic. read more

I don't know which location was responsible for delivering juices to me, so this is about the company's juices and approach to customer service. I decided to go on a 3 day juice cleanse, which I've done without difficulty before. I chose Juice Press because their prices are relatively reasonable (also known as the lower end of completely absurd) and their local delivery seemed convenient. Unfortunately I found the juices to be undrinkable. I wasn't even hungry because the taste of the juices turned me off to consuming things altogether. I've had many other green juices and these were especially disgusting. They seemed to have developed an alternate set of juices for the 3 day cleanse, which my friend said was much better, but I consider it unforgivable- bordering on immoral- to package and sell the shit I was drinking. Anyway, on the second day, after their sweet potato juice took away my will to live, I decided to cancel my last day's delivery of juices. I tried to do this via email (orders@juicepress.com), but no one responded, even weeks later. I had to call their all-purpose number and talk to at least 3+ people before I could finally cancel my last day. I hung up with one person and another called me back. Then another person called me. Then another to confirm they understood what I was asking for. Instead of just refunding my $60, they charged me $120 on top of the $180 I had already paid, and were planning to refund the $180. This sounded incredibly stupid but I can deal with inefficient billing practices. I am writing this 3 weeks later, after speaking to countless more people and sending more emails that were ignored, and they still haven't refunded my money. Probably my worst juice and customer service experience yet. Please try a different company that has their shit together read more

Honestly they are just rude here. They have an attitude and quite frankly don't appear to enjoy their job. I was standing by the nuts just watching them make smoothies bc I'm interested and was pretty bored while waiting and the lady behind the desk snapped at me and said "there are MANY smoothies in front of yours" very rudely. Bc they hadn't made mine, I asked if I could please just switch it for the premade refrigerated drink since I really had to go and I was waiting for a while and she said that in order to switch it she would need to call her manager (again she said this very rudely). Their attitude is unacceptable and their obviously under staffed. I'm still waiting for my smoothie. read more

Never again. I ordered the basic 6 juice per day cleanse, and received the higher calorie, carb and sugar "alternate" cleanse. When I emailed them, they did not respond. As an aside, delivery orders have a 2 hour window and are delivered without ice packs. Think they need to take a hard look at their lack of customer service. read more

I love juice press. I often grab their mean green and am addited to their salads and desserts. if they were slightly cheaper I would go more often but I keep it to once or twice a week max. way too pricey but do love their products read more
