This might be my third visit to Austin and I had just found out about juice land on my last visit! It's a healthier option for a meal or a quick snack. There's so many locations of juice land, but we decided to go to the one next to Barton Springs. The parking lot is very tight here. If I were the one driving, I probably wouldn't have entered. However, my partner was driving and we gladly visited the small location. The ambience is really cool and casual very earthy and green. We both got one smoothie I got one of their green smoothies and added turmeric into It because I've been having some inflammation lately. The woman in the front counter was super positive and friendly and I enjoyed her energy. They have some outside patio seating, but not any indoor seating at this location. read more

My favorite juice spot in all of Austin! Every time I'm visiting I need to make a stop at one of the many Juiceland locations. This particular spot is cute with fun outdoor decorations including a banana dolphin! Very fun and quirky shop which is fully on brand with the Keep Austin Weird vibe. My go to order is the Honey Beary smoothie or bowl which is mainly banana, blueberries, and peanut butter. I also enjoy most of their freshly pressed juices and healthy shots. read more

Got a mango+passionfruit matcha - wanted to try something new! However, Juiceland is known for their smoothies and juices of course, so the matcha was not one of their strongest beverages. It wasn't a bright colored green, so I knew the grade of matcha probably wasn't ceremonial or was a lower grade. The drink had a thick chalky texture, and the matcha was quite bitter. I enjoyed the mango passionfruit flavor though! The matcha was also so $$$ for the size. I got a small. I will not be getting the matcha again, but I do love their smoothies. By far when it comes to presentation, it's a 10 out of 10. Now this is definitely for my gym rats, meat, heads, protein focused people. This smoothie has 50 grams of protein, which is actually crazy, but they put like three different types of protein powder in there. Definitely on the first sip I was taken back, but as I drank it, it grew on me, definitely a great post workout smoothie and I'd probably recommend adding some strawberry in there for sure. We visited this Juiceland during our trip from California and absolutely loved this place! So many options to choose from that were packed with nutrients and flavored. I got Wundershowzen, Peanut Butter Protein bowl and a bottled Golden Glow to-go. So delicious and recommend this juice place. Staff were awesome with great service. My friend and I came here to grab a smoothie after Barton Springs and had overall really good experience! The employee was sweet and went over the menu, and when we said we would share a 16oz she offered to just split it in to two 8oz cups. It goes without saying as well that aesthetically it's a really neat shop as well, and is nestled kind of in this cute wooded area with a jungle-ly feel to it. The one thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was the value. I don't have a ton of familiarity with smoothie shops, but paying $10 for a 16oz felt a bit expensive. The rehydrator was exactly what I was looking for with the watermelon juice, mango, peach, raspberry, beet, coconut oil, mint, and lime. I asked for extra mint. What a special store location! Came here for a smoothie after a workout. Was surprised to see the setup of the store, which was in a small house with a really cute outdoor garden and lounge area. It's beautiful on a sunny day. They also had a ping pong table which was fun to play while we waited for our drink. I order an "I dream of greenie" and added a scoop of protein. It was delicious, with plenty of nutrients too. The people who worked there were also very helpful in suggesting drinks that I might like, or add-ons that would go well with each drink. Why 5 stars? Because it's exactly what I needed. --- --- --- I sat in my hotel room, recently recovered from the flu and I thought, "I need a green smoothie." This is something I've probably only said 3-4 times in my life so I felt like I must have *really* needed it. I was pretty sure I wanted to order the Paradise Found, but I consulted with the very friendly girl taking orders and she ultimately swayed me to the Peachy Green, but adding in ginger and mango. It was an excellent recommendation because this was the e-x-a-c-t thing I had in mind an hour earlier when I started thinking about how great a green smoothie would be. The vibe in here was really hipster aka cooler than me. I enjoyed listening to the chill EDM and looking at the bright colors that covered every square inch of this small bodega-like shop. There was even seating outside that fit the weird Austin vibe perfectly where it partly looked like a homeless encampment, partly like a comfortable place to hang out. As a juiceland lover I wasn't impressed by this location. Don't get me wrong the location itself is awesome and the little hut feel is super cute & cozy. However - because of the location the parking lot is super tiny and always full, and the building itself is small so typically you have to wait outside. Any time I've gone whether busy or slow, the service seems to be outrageously slow which is the reason I don't come often. read more

AWESOME vibes, food and drinks! I'm totally obsessed!! A MUST-TRY in Austin! Everything is vegan - and in the best way! The branding truly reflects the rainbow colors of the ingredients they use in their prepackaged food and smoothies. No vegan substitutes or alternatives here. They have multiple locations - there's even a store in the Whole Foods on N Lamar in downtown. We got a Julio Verde smoothie and a vegan burrito, and both were absolutely delicious. I'm a raving lover of Juiceland going back to the time about 13 years ago, when I wrote an article on the chain for an Austin publication and interviewed founder Matt Shook and also the manager of the Burnet Road location. I've come to think each location seems to possess its own personality, but I'll always love the original Barton Springs location the most. Parking isn't easy around there but the healthy drinking and eating options certainly are--with more than a dash of quirky South Austin to go along with it! I love the small stone building and I always feel like I'm entering some eccentric and funky cave. The smoothies, juices, and prepared vegan meals are always excellent, but one thing so many fellow Juiceland devotees and Austin's so-called "health nuts" take for granted is how one can enjoy a shot of wheatgrass here and they never seem to run out. Try to find wheatgrass in any of the juice bars in The Woodlands, Texas--or in any of the toniest suburbs of New Orleans or in the Florida Panhandle or throughout most of the Southeast or even New England and you just might find you'll look a long time before finding it sold in liquid form, ready for consumption on the spot. It's just another thing that makes Juiceland special. I'll raise my next Juiceland smoothie to Matt Shook's keen vision. Can't wait to hit one of the locations soon in downtown Houston! read more

Refreshing and totally hit the spot. They have a good selection of different juices and add-ins that you can choose from. This is a cute little location at Barton Springs that doesn't have any place to sit inside but they do h e an outdoor seating area that surrounded by well maintained plants all around. I love all the e smoothie combos that Juiceland has to offer as well as the wheatgrass shots. You can preorder and come in later to pick it up. There's also some picnic tables to sit at by some food trucks but no shade as an option close by. Parking is limited with metered spaces or a 15 minute space out in front. This is the first time I've been at this location and usually get asked for my phone number to be counted for future deals on smoothies. This visit I was not asked anything like that. I got the Golden Mylk, which comes with fresh turmeric, cold brew, coconut oil, hemp seeds and sweetened with dates. One size only so I had to get a large but it was super delicious. It's just a shame I can't drink that much coffee in one sitting. Check out their daily specials. If your drink of choice is listed on that day, it could knock off $2 or so off your drink. (Summary at bottom) When looking for a healthy fresh smoothie to start our day, my family and I decided to give JuiceLand on Barton Springs Rd a try. Before we even walked in, we loved it! There was beautiful outdoor seating all around (and on top!) the building shaded by big trees (the perfect place to drink a smoothie right?). The store was small but well taken care of and very clean looking from the outside. They were evening working on the building during our visit adding some great looking wood to the ceiling of the overhang which is going to look awesome once it is complete. Once we went inside, it was great! Inside of the building, there is a ton of JuiceLand merchandise and a super cool and easy to understand menu. We could either order with an employee or use the kiosk which we choose to do as everyone in the back looked very busy. The kiosk was a large screen that was clear and incredibly simple to use. We chose 4 different smoothies and we loved every one of them! It did take a little while to finally get our smoothies but they were absolutely worth the wait and the staff were so helpful and nice as we were waiting. My family appreciates smoothies that are made with real fruit and ingredients which JuiceLand prides itself on. If you're around Austin and looking for a super healthy, refreshing, and energizing snack/drink, give JuiceLand a try! I am moving to Austin in a few months and I will absolutely be a regular customer! I ordered a matcha latte for my girlfriend and I can tell you with absolute certainty that this was the single worst matcha latte ever crafted in the entire history of the Milky Way galaxy. Cool little juice shop with lots of interesting choices. The location is a little tricky and parking is a bit of a hassle. The parking lot is located to the left side of the building and raised. Parking is limited, and there is a time limit, so don't plan on parking and walking. The service was great! Our cashier was very friendly, and she was super helpful with the menu. She even offered to replace my drink if I didn't enjoy the one I picked (I did enjoy it though!) I got the soul boulder which had protein, and had a great cherry chocolate flavor! I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely recommend. The whole drink was plant based so no milk or whey. My husband got the strawberry mylkshake, he liked his, but after he tried mine, he wished he had gotten mine! The soul Boulder was seriously so good, and I think a good choice for people who don't have much experience drinking smoothies. There's no green, or veggies, so a great gateway smoothie.
