I probably have something on here demonizing Juiceland but clearly I keep going to Juiceland. This location is close to a lot of things I frequent so I finally will review it. This place is horribly understaffed. At times, there will be at least 12 people waiting on their drink and only two people are working. The consistency of the drinks is off as my friend and I have ordered the same thing (made by two different people) and it didn't even nearly taste the same. ORDER AHEAD OF TIME. I promise. It takes forever if you go in. Also, make sure to tell them you're a loyalty member because they try to jump over that like crazy. The juice/smoothies/food is always good but overpriced. JuiceLand is always fresh, fast, and healthy. I'm a diehard, but if you read my reviews you'll see that I'm also brutally honest to even my favorite spots when things are bad. I've never had that happen at JuiceLand. Cheers to another amazing experience of friendly service, clean and vibrant indoor counter and spunky Austin throwback vibes from the vinyl sales wall. My only complaint to JuiceLand is that I wish the outdoor-counter-only locations were marked better on the website. This isn't one of them, but I generally avoid those locations, since as a rideshare driver, I stop at JuiceLand locations all over town for a quick bathroom break and to grab a healthy pick-me-up drink on a daily basis. Juiceland has really gone downhill. At this location, they clear online orders as soon as you place them (probably to keep their metrics looking good), so you get a text saying your order is ready. But here's the catch -- it's never actually ready. Half the time, they forget to make it, so you're stuck waiting for 20 minutes while they scroll through the screen to figure out what you ordered and finally make it. This completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. On top of that, they've drastically reduced the portion sizes. Now, you get just half an inch of smoothie with a few large chunks of fruit for $17. There are plenty of other smoothie places around -- I'd suggest trying one of those instead. read more

This location used to be one of the best customer service wise but the last two times I came they just had my drink sitting there to the point where I had to ask about it. (Yes I ordered in store and no I couldn't see they were done making my drink due to the high counter). They called peoples names that came after me and just didn't seem to care. I ordered a large size of I Dream of Greenie at Juiceland on 51st street Friday, February 21 at 2:30pm in Austin, TX because I just got oral surgery and cannot eat any hard foods. Anyways, I noticed there was a good amount of the smoothie left over after they filled the cup. I asked them politely not to pour the rest down the drain but put it in an extra cup. They told me that they can't do that and were about to pour it down the drain again. I asked once again to not waste the food. They finally put it in a small shot cup, with still having some of it left over they poured it down the drain. In addition, they told me I was going to be charged extra for the shot. I grabbed my smoothie and just left. On my way out I was called an asshole. I went next door to Starbucks to ask for a small cup since the smoothie mix in the shot cup was falling out. They immediately gave me a cup at no charge with no hassle. I will never go to Juiceland again. Also, now I understand why Daily Juice broke off from Juiceland. I've always had an excellent experience with Daily Juice and will continue to support those who think for themselves and have an understanding of other people's needs instead of wasting food and only going by the books. read more

Luckily, I noticed this in time to run into the store and let them know that was a mistake as I did not want orange juice in my smoothie. I tested sensitive to oranges years ago and have not had any since; not sure how my body would have reacted. They were very polite and accommodating. We all had a good laugh about me running in. I am making the healthy choice of JuiceLand vs Starbucks as my coworker and I literally go to SB 5 days a week. I should have made the switch years ago especially since they are only a few doors apart but better now than never. I've been to this location more than a dozen times and I really don't know what I'll receive each time I go. I'll get the same drink a few different times and the taste can vary wildly. It is clear that this JuiceLand location isn't focused whatsoever in their customer service. I frequent Starbucks (which is right next door) and noticed that JuiceLand had moved in. I went in early in the morning after ordering online. I wasn't greeted by the employee even though nobody else was there. She stared at me until I finally approached her. It was very uncomfortable. I told her I was there to pick up *2* drinks I had ordered online. She didn't say anything back before walking to the counter behind her, grabbing the 2 drinks, and turning back around to set them right in front of me. No words exchanged. NO WHERE ELSE in her discography can you find such a collection of masterfully produced, stripped-down songs with originals like "no pressure over cappuccinos" or "princes familiar" that show a real maturity and growth when compared with the juvenile complaints of Jagged Little Pill. 10/10 read more
