Warm Thai Ginger Peanut Bowl ($13.55) and Maui Wowie Smoothie.

A healthy and vegan-friendly take-out spot in the second floor of the Seattle Convention Center Arch building. The menu changes regularly and primarily consists of both savory and sweet bowls, smoothies, and juices. Plenty of tables are out front. Visited this spot everyday during a weekend-long convention as it was quite convenient and the food was tasty. Bowls are customizable in choice of protein (including tofu) and base (such as coconut rice, sweet potato, tossed salad, or half-and-half between two) and cost around $13. My favorite was the warm Thai Ginger Peanut Bowl: fresh cilantro + coconut flakes + roasted peanuts + roasted sweet potato + pickled onions + radish + pickled ginger + red pepper. Topped with sweet chili peanut sauce. Others bowls I tried in order of most liked to least: - Taco Bowl - Salmon Lemon Dill Bowl - Meatball Marinara Bowl - Poke Bowl - Gyro Bowl As for the two smoothies that I tried, I liked the Maui Wowie Smoothie more as it incorporated banana so had less of a watery consistency. - Maui Wowie Smoothie: mango, orange, banana, pineapple - Sweet Tart Smoothie: orange, pineapple, strawberry, vanilla

First time at a Juicy Cafe after hearing a friend rave about it, left me a but disappointed. The salad ingredients were surprisingly sparse; since grapefruit was listed as a main flavor was I surprised to find just one small piece. It also was not a very hearty salad for the price. Being this one is in the convention center, prior to our arriving they were feeding a huge team of event-attendees premade salads, which could have explained the scarcity of ingredients in my salad. Also, while I wouldn't say the ingredients were stale, they so weren't very fresh but seemed to be chopped up much earlier in the day. Yeah, I'm a bit picky when the meal is a salad and things just dont seem fresh cut....maybe you wouldn't be. The drink was a smoothie off matcha, almonds and a spritz of rosewater. That was excellent and I'd get again without hesitation if in the area. While inside the convention center, the ambience is outdoorsy, being on the very edge at entrance into Freeway Park. The atrium is filled with real tropical plants and a lot of glass windows with striking views of the some buildings. I'd likely try a different salad next time, but only if in area...not really a place to go out of your way for.

Because it was hot and sweaty, a big sea of people were waiting both outside and inside this place, and I saw only about 5 or so staff members making all the drinks. There's only two tables and two benches to sit at on the right-hand side of the place; otherwise, the rest of the space is behind the counter where all the drinks are made and the strong aromatic aroma of tea fills the interior. From my visit here, I think you can only place orders either through their lone kiosk to the left-hand side of the entrance near a corner, or by scanning the QR code at the front of the entrance and following prompts on your phone. Staff was too busy making drinks to take orders at the front counter when I was inside. Either way, you have to use the HeyTea app to scan a QR code (on the receipt you get after placing your order) if you want to see an estimate on when your drink(s) will be ready. By the time I signed up for an account and downloaded the app using the slow 5G, my estimated time was 25 minutes; however, the wait for my triple supreme matcha latte (with extra matcha, less sugar and all other things in their recommended settings) ended up being more than 45 minutes as I walked around the perimeter and waited inside and outside this location as well. It was really chaotic trying to get my drink once it was ready; people were cutting in front of me and others to show staff their receipt and pick up their orders even though I was in front of the line. Taste wise though, the matcha is a strong ceremonial blend with grassy tones that actually caught me by surprise. That's because they have a matcha cheese cloud which I thought would have dulled the matcha taste but it didn't! There's also matcha mochi and what tasted like matcha jelly on the bottom which further strengthened the earthy tones. Probably because it was really hot as of this writing, the ice melted much fasted than usual so that's out of this place's control and therefor doesn't detract from my experience itself. Wait here was really long for just one drink but I'm thankful there's something you can use to see when your drinks are ready - in this case, their HeyTea app. I would probably only come back if I was around the area, though wait times for drinks might deter me from doing so altogether.

I visited twice and tried two different drinks on separate days: the Mango Coconut Tea and the…read morePistachio Tea. Unfortunately, neither one was for me, but I can definitely see why they're popular with younger customers. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and very fast with preparing the drinks. The shop itself is quite small, so I wouldn't plan on staying to sit for long.

I liked the sandwich, it just wasn't quite worth the price imo. Like I'd still go if it was payday or something but probably not on a regular day tbhhh. I did like the bread of the sandwich though! The bread surprised me as being a new type of sandwich bread - it was really crispy, and the grill marks were pretty cool to see. The crunch on it was actually quite nice. Honestly was very surprised the bread was this good. The steak was decent enough. Nothing special, but also they don't do the thing where they call it a steak sandwich or bowl and give you a few pieces of skirt steak. The meat was actually spread apart well throughout the sandwich. The cheese and sauces gave this a good moisture level to prevent it from being too dry. This contributed to the pretty good taste Only issue is the price - it's quite a small sandwich, and yet you're paying 15 bucks for it. That's just insane prices. This is hardly filling enough for a single person for lunch. Overall, I was expecting this to be expensive and bad, and at least it was just expensive. 7.5/10
