I am so happy that husband found this gem!! We live in Summit county and have no issue traveling to discover new places. We had a local getaway and decided to explore the west side of cleveland and he researched Sunday brunch and what?? they serve sunday brunch til 3pm THREE PM!!! and the food is fabulous and the price is amazing. I LOVE JUKEBOX... for brunch. I went for the vegan pierogi. The buffalo chickpea is SO good, and they seriously have the ONLY vegan ranch that I like (I never liked dairy ranch either). Good mimosas too. However, I went once during their "late-night" menu, which I didn't realize was different than the regular menu. I was hoping to get pierogi, but was not concerned when I got there since they had vegan ramen too. But the ramen was horrible. Lukewarm, sour broth, the noodles were practically bunched together in one blob, and it was served in a chinese take-out container (?). I will not be back for ramen... ever. Over the last few years, I have become a frequent visitor and I sometimes would say "we should try somewhere new" but we'd always end up at Jukebox because there is no doubt when we go we're always going to have a great experience. The drinks, food, and staff are all superb and I love that they do lots of fun events like an Oscars watch party, Seinfeld Festivus Episode viewing and of course, the weekly music trivia night is not to be missed! A few years ago I said "this would be the ideal place to host a wedding reception" not even knowing if they even would do that sort of thing. Recently, the time came for me to have to plan the said wedding and I reached out to Alex Budin, the owner. He advised that they had never really done such a thing but that he was up for the challenge. The communication with him was clear and easy from the start. I had a guest list which included a severe nut allergy, a handful of staunch vegans and the rest were a classic meat and potato crowd. Because of the wide variety of food Jukebox serves, they were all able to be accommodated. The Buffalo Chickpea pierogis were the unexpected hit! The day itself was a dream, all the best elements of a wedding reception (food, drinks, music) were all executed perfectly by Alex and his staff. Many of our guests had never been to Hingetown or Jukebox before, but they all had nothing but rave reviews. Tony was especially a crowd favorite with his positive attitude, attention to detail and of course his signature short shorts! The day was actually missing one thing though, STRESS. Even with looming storm clouds - Alex sprung into action to make sure we had a satisfactory Plan B for if the sky opened up on us and the patio. I was able to enjoy the party fully and didn't worry about a thing all night, which allowed me to truly let loose. I only wish I had more reasons to rent out Jukebox more often, it was truly such a blast to celebrate with all my favorite people in one of my favorite spots in the city. read more

Stopped in to the Jukebox to join some family for a Sunday Fun Day this past weekend. They had a good variety of beers on tap to choose from. We chose: 1) peppered beef - potatoes - onion-carrot 2)Potato - bacon - cheddar- chive - onion 3) Kielbasi - potato - Carraway Kraut The sides we chose were plain sour cream and Sirachi sour cream, but they have a wide assortment of sides and every order comes with your choice of 2. My husband really enjoyed the but I felt as if the dough wasn't as it could have been. I was also disappointed by the burnt taste of the cheddar potato ones. As for ambience it was nice for a little bar. Nice patio with projection screen to watch the Indians games was set up. Jukebox is the center of attraction although we did not use. Jukebox was an intriguing bar that is kind of a hidden gem. Due to its location, it might get somewhat overshadowed by Saucy Brew Works, but it shouldn't at all! My wife and I just made a stop there this past weekend for a drink and the service was excellent, despite being busy. Although we didn't eat, the food menu looked really good. Jukebox just opened last night in a neighborhood with a made up name. They call it Hingetown. I refuse to call this area that name. It was a cozy little bar. Most customers were nice. The bar takes recommendations for the jukebox. Customers get a token or two with each drink order to play a song on the box. This might be the only bar in Cleveland that will have Mobb Deep on the jukebox which is reason enough to show up. The draft list is mostly Midwestern and was impressive. Jolly Pumpkin Oro De Calabaza was $6. A back and front patio is coming soon. Brick walls create a nice cavernous bar area. I can imagine drinking here alone and listening to Townes Van Zandt to pass my time. read more

I think the juke only takes the tokens the bartenders give you so some Indie buttrocker or a Deftones dick cant take up 2 hours of music. LOVED!! First, and foremost the staff was amazingly nice!! Second, they have a ton of vegan options and even vegan sauces which are so hard to get at most places. Third, they have a great happy hour ($3 gin and tonic! And $5 peirogies!) I order both of the vegan options, the black bean and sweet potato and the spicy chickpea peirogies. You get 3 good sized peirogies in each order and get to pick from the all the different sauces. They were both amazing!! Bonus, they give you tokens to pick the music on the old school juke box. What an awesome experience right from the start!We walked in, sat ourselves,and our server Tony walked right over to greet us in the most chill way, like we already knew him. Anyway, we came to get the vegan pierogies. We hadn't thought of the dipping sauces to pair with the pierogies, but the kitchen did an awesome job picking sauce pairings. Vegans-if I could only pick one pierogie, I highly recommend the buffalo chickpea one. My girlfriend and I wanted seconds! We also got some drinks. My girlfriend loves mules, so she stayed with her guns and ordered the Cleveland Mule. Her exact words were "strong in the best possible way". I got the "say chai to your mom" and wow, how unique! Im not sure if it is just on their specials menu, but highly recommend! Tony, sensing that we were vegans,came by and offered us a piece of vegan cake that wasn't on the menu! I loveee pierogies, so I was really excited to try Jukebox. While they had some creative options (eg sweet potato black bean pierogi), I stuck to the basics and ordered the potato bacon pierogi. You are also able to pick two dipping sauces. I picked the sriracha sour cream and the French onion, which both paired well with the pierogies. It was delicious!! I also ordered the roasted brussles, which had a great balance of savory and sweet flavor. All of the prices were super reasonable. They also have plenty of vegan options. Oh Jukebox, I love you. Hands down my favorite bar in Cleveland. They ALWAYS have something on draft I've never had or have been wanting to try. The buffalo chicken dip is something we crave weekly - you've gotta try it! Today I tried the grilled cheese and while it literally just had kraft singles on it, they go above and beyond to make it a good sandwich, toasting both sides of the bun and adding a hefty amount of bacon. The bartenders are ALWAYS friendly, fun, and insightful. I always feel like everyone is welcome at Jukebox and that's reflected in the crowd at the bar every time we go. We stopped in on a random Saturday afternoon and it was surprisingly pretty busy. It's a super small bar inside with the jukebox of course as the centerpiece to the whole place and they were playing classic rock songs. Super awesome vibes! There was only one bartender and he was running the whole show in the front of the house: making drinks, running food, bussing tables, etc. Despite all this, he was very friendly and kept up with each table. Our drinks/beers came out quick as well. I was told you need to try the pierogies here so everyone at my table ordered different ones. I tried the sweet potato black bean. Holy wow! They had the proper amount of spice and they were oh so tasty and unique. The kielbasa and kraut on the side was sooo flavorful and delicious as well. We also split the roasted Brussels as an app. The flavor profile on those were so delicious as well. Overall, the food was excellent and I can't think of anything I would change about that aspect. We did have an issue with the service. There was a group of 4 of us at the table. When the food came out, only 3 of us got our plates. We were thinking maybe the server just couldn't carry all the plates at once and they would go back for my boyfriend's plate...wrong! And our server did indeed write down his order! He sat there for over 5 minutes while we were eating and never got his. It was near impossible to flag someone down because they were so busy. Once we could get someone to address the situation, they admitted that they had forgotten to make his food and made it. We were all finished eating by the time his plate came out. I understand mistakes happen and there definitely was a disconnect with the kitchen and I do not blame the server at all since he was hustling the whole time, but the way it was handled was not the best. We barely got an apology, and they only took around $6 off the price of the meal. I'm disappointed because the food was SO good, the service was just lacking. I definitely would want to come back because the food was yummy and I still had a good time, I just hope they will be better prepared in the future to handle crowds. read more

It's a great joining of "local townie " and "hip" bar. Well placed in the newly marketed area of "Hingetown" in the Gordon Square and Ohio City joining place. We hit up Jukebox after the weekly bridge run that the spinning shop next door called Harness Cycle throws. We showed up pretty sweaty and gross, which did put us out of place with the otherwise well dressed patrons. The music selection is astounding! It's not an electronic juke box so we were more than happy to find some of the artists in there! There isn't a bad song selection! Add on top of that a great selection of beers. A cool atmosphere and some totally delicious pierogies (and ahem, I know pierogies!!), I'm very impressed! Think about it...no annoying people can hijack the music with their horrible taste. Everything has been pre-approved and you know what type of ambiance you can expect. Semi-embarrassingly, this was our first time exploring Hingetown. We started at Transformer Station and then moseyed our way over to Jukebox. It was happy hour ($2 off beers and apps) so we ordered some IPAs and pierogies (spicy chicken and potato bacon). Food, drinks, and service were all A+++. The cherry on top was the restaurant's namesake- the jukebox! I'm a TouchTunes fanatic and have fond memories of the classic jukeboxes of my youth so upon receiving free jukebox tokens, I was a kid in a candy store.
