The scallops and the gulf shrimp are tremendous. Mild bbq sauce and Louisiana hot sauce on the side for the win!

Amazing fried shrimp, scallops, and clams. I like the bbq cocktail sauce. Prices are reasonable and the wait isn't long.

Great family operated shrimp shack, my tip is to try the Chicago Style fried shrimp. This location is on Archer Avenue just west of Kedzie.

Needless to say,…read morethere was not a good restaurant in Alsip so we had to go to Oak Lawn for Francesca's on 95th! We had a great time, with great service and really good old fashioned Italian food!!! For our appetizer, we had the sausage and peppers. GAME CHANGER!!! Neither of us had eaten this classic Italian appetizer before and Francesca's version was a great introduction to this dish. Surprisingly, it was NOT the sausage that was the star of this presentation - it was the sauce and the peppers. The sauce was part top notch olive oil, part Italian seasonings and it was a wonderfully delicious background to each bite. The peppers (green, red & yellow) were perfectly cooked, luxuriously soft but still with a little crisp to them. Those peppers were perfectly cooked! I do think the sausage, while okay, was not up to the standard of the rest of this dish. For my main, I had the Linguini Alla Caruso - shrimp, garlic, olive oil with a basil-pine nut pesto sauce. It was very good, very good. Be warned though the sauce leans a little to the sour or harsh flavor. Not too bad, I certainly ate it up, but there was certainly a sharp taste every once in a while. My spouse had Dana's Bolognese. He was very happy with it! The overwhelming reaction to our main dishes was "holy crap" that's a lot of food! The dishes were as large as a coffee table and we NEVER could have eaten all that food no matter how long we sat there at dinner. Each dish was big enough to feed both of us and several people at nearby tables!!! But the best part of Francesca's on 95th was the service. Everyone was so friendly, so nice, hard working and willing to take care of our every need. Seriously, the staff worked their butts off and provided some of the best service I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Hats off to everyone from the hostess to the server to the bus people. You all really took care of us that evening. You will NOT walk away from Francesca's hungry! Is the food the best Italian I have ever had? Probably not but it is definitely solid and a great place to enjoy a good meal.

First time I came in got southwestern chicken soup. Spicy without being overwhelmingly hot. Lot better than progreessos version of the soup. And a grilled cheese that came with fries. Grilled cheese is an outstanding sandwich one that I don't eat as much since I'm not a kid anymore but it felt all warm, gooey brought back childhood memories. Second time I came got jerk chicken salad. Flavorful, zesty. The jerk chicken didn't have the taste from like an actual jerk place but I liked it. I got the Maplewood fat pug for a beverage. It also looks like they sell beer to go.

Service from Nick (owner) was TERRIBLE…read more I was a long-time (20+ yr), loyal customer up til I was yelled at by Nick because I spoke up about consistently receiving orders much later than promised via online orders. I had placed many online orders for pick-up on my 30min lunch break, to ensure I had proper time to drive to, pick up my food, and quickly drive back from the restaurant. After a few pick-ups took around 20mins after promised time, I was pretty upset. I was told they only start making food once the person is there to pick it up, so I asked what's the point of placing an order online and receiving a pick-up time, when the food only starts to get made once you're at the restaurant to pick up? That's when the owner stepped in (My family and I have had many pleasant convos with him before at the old location), turned red, bunched up his face, and legit yelled at me "What do you expect? Do you want your fries to be cold or do you want them fresh?" (I was taken aback, and responded "I expect my order to be ready at the time indicated"). He told me I could go elsewhere. I get it. I was receiving consistently poor service and was upset when I asked the cashier about timing, so he stepped in to defend his worker. What I don't get is how you can tell a customer to go somewhere else when they're expecting their food at the time promised (or at least within 5 mins...I'm not THAT picky). Perhaps my expectations are too high?

I had some questions getting started and the owner Juan was very accommodating. But the real kicker was when my husband and I ate our first meals. The Mongolian beef and spaghetti with meatballs. They were.... absolutely delicious. My husband was so impressed and ate every single bite. He brought the steak to lunch the next day - delicious. For dinner we ate the steak tacos - again absolutely delicious. I have had so many meal delivery services in Chicago and this was absolutely the best we have had. It is so well seasoned and so fresh even after being cooked in the microwave. I also really love how much the owner clearly cares about his business. Always a good sign to me. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a convenient, but healthy way to have some delicious options. I will be a customer for a very long time.

And I'm beyond glad I did, this location is just THAT good. The staff are so lovely and generous, it makes sense why their drive-thru is hardly ever empty. Definitely recommend planning your order ahead of time, because their staff is so attentive to the drive-thru that they'll be ready to take your order before you see the menu. (Luckily for me, I had grabbed one when I had stopped in earlier.) The food was hot and ready so quickly, I couldn't even wait to get home to eat; I had pull over on a side street to try some. The mixed shawarma plate? Scrumdiddlyumptious. The lamb gyro? Tender and DIVINE. The falafel? Seasoned to perfection and so filling. The Jerusalem salad? Super refreshing and flavorful. (I got the falafel pita because I couldn't decide between the two - why not both, right? Exactly right, that's why I DEVOURED that pita haha.) But the lentil soup?!? The lentil soup has changed me as a human being... Not only was it the tastiest lentil soup I've ever had in my life, it completely cleared my acne, boosted my credit score, and re-aligned my chakras like I was Aang from Avatar: the Last Airbender. I might name my first born child Lentil (middle name Soup) from how delicious it was. I downloaded Yelp! JUST to post about this place because of the lentil soup, it's that amazing.
