This is a great place to have a birthday dinner, anniversary or any other special occasion. The restaurant inside is beautiful and nicely lit. The atmosphere is soothing and romantic, soft music playing in background. The tables are very spa, perfect for larger groups, there's ample space between each dining table giving other guests enough room to move without bumping into other guests. The menu in my opinion is clean and fresh. Lots of seafood option, and on the lighter side, nothing was heavy or greasy. Appetizers are made to share, and all were very well put together. I came here with a group of cousins celebrating a milestone birthday. We were all treated very well, and the staff took care of us right away. The Mediterranean Dips - hummus, babaganoush, tzatziki, & grilled naan bread to start was tasty and so was the Caesar Salad - romaine lettuce, croutons, parmesan cheese, & caesar dressing. Well, this was my first time at this place. The view is very nice and enjoyable. The service was ok, servers are friendly but since they are too busy they barely come to check on you. The food is not the greatest, the portions are way too small for such a big prices. Most of the dishes are very expensive and kinda feels like a ripoff. The cocktails were watery. Terrible!! The only decent thing about the restaurant it is located on the water. My salmon was $30, minuscule and I was still hungry after finishing it. First off, just be sure to remember that this place is right next to hotel/residential areas and need valet parking. Also, this is on the other side of the water where the boats pass by. So Juniper on the Beach seemed like the perfect option for outdoor dining on a gorgeous night. The place smelled yummy upon arrival, I liked the atmosphere, and loved being on the water. The sun ended up getting me, it got pretty bright out there, but then sunset completed and it was beautiful. Food was really yummy! I got the mahi, we shared the tuna nachos, and my friend got the seafood pasta. We enjoyed all our food and basically finished each plate. My only complaint is the pricing on specials and certain items seems surprisingly high? $55 for scallops and quinoa risotto is wild. went here this morning for lunch with my family and we had a really fantastic time. I'm not a fan of the way finding how to get into this restaurant. It seems like we're going to a residence and there is a private gate. There's absolutely no signage for the restaurant. when we walked inside the entire place smelled like bleach and I'll go. It's nice to see that it's clean. It was extremely overwhelming. And I thought it was inappropriate. we ended up sitting outside and we got placed at a table that was next to some sort of hutch with all the plates supplies and it was really annoying because it was disruptive to have the waitresses constantly walking behind us. It was too close to our table. The food was really fantastic. We really enjoyed all of our drinks. I highly recommend the mango or passionfruit lemonade. We got a couple different things for the appetizers and everything was really fresh so there isn't too much to mention. The sea bass dish was very good Challenges: This is not a steakhouse, stick to the seafood options. As a party we ordered 4 steaks, two were grossly overcooked. Beef quality was decent but not great. We have been in the food industry and have a great deal of respect for the challenges. I almost never return a meal that was over cooked because I know it will be wasted, however we did inform the waitress that our cuts were beyond well done. we were surprised that the response was to ghost us the rest of the night. We had to ask a bus boy to get us the check. Some other notes: the location is tucked in the back of a condo unit, so make sure to actually turn when gps tells you to even if it doesn't look right. The reviews on the valet are accurate, just park further back and walk. The poor people ahead of us waited forever and then we're told unless they paid in cash, the credit card fee was double. Being on the canal is a nice spot, just hope they get things worked out before you give it a try. read more

Juniper On The Water offers incredible views! Mansions sit across from the restaurant and yachts float by every few minutes. I really enjoyed the service- Katelyn is an awesome waitress and the hostess was so sweet (she has the prettiest hair!). Everyone enjoyed their meals. I went with the Caesar salad with salmon added. My suggestion would be to ask for the skin to be crispy. The martini was absolutely delicious! The rim tasted like a graham cracker! Nobody was seated inside the restaurant and there were only a few people seated outside when we arrived around 12p on a Sunday. It wasn't loud at all, perfect for low key brunches. This was a fantastic lunch spot for us because we had a baby with us. There were a few other couples with toddlers. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the smell. When you walk in, it smells like bathroom soap (think, that pink soap you see at gas station bathrooms). It was pretty strange. The bathrooms are located downstairs, looked a bit sketch but wasn't. Went on a lunch date with my friend, I checked out this place and wanted to give it a try and she told me she'd been looking at this spot once before too! We were thrilled to go check it out on a sunny day before the hurricane shower hits. I made reservations be the yelp. This restaurant closes in the middle of the day to prepare for dinner so we made reservations at five so we can still enjoy the sunlight. When we arrive it appear to look like we were entering a residential apartment complex on the beach! The restaurant is located in the back. When coming in towards the gate make sure to click the button to go through there's no gaurd to open it for you. When we arrived we had the restaurant to ourselves, very beautiful decor inside and friendly staff. For appetizers we had the seafood garden which came with half a dozen oysters cocktail shrimp lobster and shrimp and octopus fish ceviche, so delicious! I had the fish tacos which in my opinion was good but with all the sauces it made my corn tortilla break in half making a mess. My friend has a filet mignon that came with mashed potatoes and asparagus, my opinion it was pretty good but she says it was ok. The view was definitely nice! Oh and for cocktails I had the margarita which I was told was a bit spicy, it was but it was a satisfying by nothing that I can't handle. read more
